Has anyone done their 1RM testing on consecutive days?

I did my 1RM testing for chest and back today and was thinking of doing some testing for legs tomorrow - has anyone done this?

I will then wait until Tuesday or Wednesday and do bis and tris. Not sure if I'm even going to bother for shoulders yet as I am still recovering from shoulder surgery and don't want to push it yet... may wait until I do a few weeks of Meso 1 and see how my shoulder feels.

That's what I plan to do once I start the 1RM testing. I am also thinking of doing upper and lower body every day. I'll just follow this sequence:

Chest
Back
Triceps
Biceps
Shoulders
Legs

with 5' rest between each test. This way assisting muscles have about 10' of rest... (e.g. triceps assist chest, biceps assist back etc.)

I am also thinking of testing twice a day (a.m. and p.m.)
I finish my current rotation in two weeks and plan on starting STS on March 2nd, so that leaves me with two weeks of 1RM testing.
I also want to have STS in my hands before I start testing so I can do all the tests while watching the corresponding exercise on the DVD - more accurate testing IMHO... :)

Well, my body made the decision for me this morning. My lower back and hams are FRIED (in a good way) from testing yesterday, so this morning was just cardio - will hit leg 1RM testing tomorrow.

Yep, I've found that I am so completely worn out that doing 1RM tests on consecutive days is completely out of the question. You use a lot of muscles to assist so that you can't completely call legs "legs"... and the back and neck and shoulders are sore too.

It is really the only thing keeping me from getting my testing done. I am fried after about 1-1 1/2 hours of testing and only get so far a day! ;) It will be worth it though!

YES!

I did the list in three days. My DH and I wanted to "get it over with". One would be the "drill sargeant" barking out the exercise and the other would do it. It was awesome.
