Hardcore Rotation Checkin Wednesday March 23

Mornin' ladies - I'm on week 4 of the fatloss rotation. Today was supposed to be a run and Core Max/Stretch Max, but I don't run, so I did Imax 2 for 30 minutes (at a steady pace - instead of interval pace) and then I did Coremax #3 with the medicine ball and Stretchmax with the ball. I didn't get much sleep last night and I'm tired. Tomorrow is MuscleMax. Good thing I left my rotation at work and had to print a new one or I wouldn't have seen where Cathe revised week 4 with Muscle Max in place of Hardcore Extreme for the last week.

Breakfast is yougurt and shredded wheats. I'm not sure what else I'll eat, as I'm going to an all day meeting/seminar for work today.

Good morning Lorajc & other check in people :)
I am deviating from the rotation because my legs are just too tight. I have been playing tennis 2-3 times per week for 90" in addition to these workouts.
Instead of HC-X today, I will do a light 2 mile run and GS~TC and stretch max. In place of LM yesterday I did a run followed by blast only premix of LM and GS~BSB. However I went straight to tennis and didn't stretch. (Bad idea)

Next week I will continue with the GS series and then I go on vacation for a week with my DH. We are taking our annual honeymoon.

Well, IMAX3 was on schedule today. Getting thru this workout seems like an unsurmountable goal at this point. My hat is off to all of you who get thru this one! Catcha later!

Still unsure what to do tonight but will definitely do some cardio and core.

Lorajc: glad I read your post about Cathe altering the last week - will go and take a look now.

Scales showed I lost again this morning (I know it'is not an accurate way of seeing how well your body's doing but it cheered me up) :) :)

Hi Ladies,

Last night I did a 6 mile run and HSC. It was a nice change from the Gym Styles. I am moving on to a muscle endurance/fat loss rotation with the hardcores. I did three weeks of strength. I am going to work on putting a rotation together today. I am also anxious to see the rotation that Cathe posts for April!

Judy, Happy Anniversary!!! I hope you have a great trip!

Andrea, Good job on the weight loss. It is always encouraging.

Lorajc, I hope you get some extra sleep tonight.

Good Morning Everyone,

I am going to deviate a little from the sceduled HSC in the Endurance rotation and do GS legs in its entirety and then later do Pure Strength CST and BBA Plus Coremax3. I feel I need a total body workout today. I am proud to have gotten through all of Imax 3 without pausing yesterday. I will do HSC on Thrursday and hope I can do better than the last time. I get tired when it comes to the step-tapping section.

Diane, what cardio workouts will you be adding on. I read your post about doing extra cardio and would like your input on which ones you will be doing...I will follow you. One can only do so many airborne jumps. LOL You amaze me at what all you do in one day. You are the person I most look up to. :)

Also, what do you put in your tuna salad? I have been known to take Albacore and low-fat mayo (just enough the cover the tuna) chopped apple, celery, grapes, and pecans. Sometimes I will put in pineapple instead apple when I want to feel tropical. LOL I get stuck in a rut though.

Bev, be sure to post what you come up with in your Muscle Endurance rotation. I salute you in your running. I wish my poor lupian legs could withstand the steady-state impact of running. Running gives one very strong legs not to mention the cardio benefit. I will stay here with my stepbox and wave at you as you run past me. LOL

I admire all of you that get up early in the morning to workout and then go to work. Maybe it is because I have to study so late at night, maybe it is because I am getting older, but I cannot fathom doing jumping jacks so early in the day. My body does not wake up until noon. LOL

Good Morning ladies , My dogs woke me up many times last night ,so I overslept again x( x( . So I will be doing Hardcore extreme #3 at nap time today . ...:) :)
 
Hi all!

Today is HSC, got all the way through it this time. I have only done this one once before, still have to modify the last jumping section of the 5th Cardio cycle, but otherwise alot of fun.

Hi Elaine,
Do you feel that you have added any strength gains yet? I ask because when I was on the P90X rotation, I did not notice much gain until about the 8th week. On the last week of the rotation, I had some noticable muscle gains, especially my back.

Just curious about your results. ;-)

Good morning everyone! Can you believe we're almost through the first month?

I'm still on the fat loss rotation and today is supposed to be HCX (I'm assuming the one with weights). But I feel like I need a little more intensity and focus on my lifting today, so I plan to do both GS upper body workouts, the leg conditioning drills from Kick Max and 30-40 minutes on the stationary bike.

I ended up doing the floorwork from GS Legs yesterday and put a lot of tension on the band for the glutes raises. My hamstrings are nice and sore today!

This morning I did GS BSB. This very first time I did this w/o I was amazed at the weights used. This morning I could have even gone heavier than when I started! I'm sooooo glad I switched from the FL rotation to the Strength. I actually noticed my lower lat today. I'm not sure exactly what is creating it, but I didn’t have it before...and I'm a big SH fan. I might ask Cathe that.

I wanted a little change today so I did the Gaunlet from the Terminator DVD. Is a lot of fun! I will cotinue the fat loss rotation tomorrow.

I've noticed that I lift heavier than when I did the Pyramids. I think it may be the slower pace. I love the Gs style workouts. I just wish I had more time to devote to them. I miss doing more cardio.

Hi everyone,
I started my day with I Max3 then did intervals 6-10 of I Max2, followed with Muscle Max lower premix and GS calves and floorwork, the SM #1 which I think has a lot of good leg stretches in it. I have been doing the calves with a 25# dumbbell. Boy is that a burner. I upped MM to 50# for my barbell and used my silver band. I think I might feel something this time:D As far as these new workouts, I have finally stabalized my weight at 110lbs. not wanting to lose more. I noticed my jeans were getting loose. I measured today and have lost 3/4 inch off of my hips.

Wanda, I have so far just mixed up the KM some with KPC, extra I Max intervals, & added cardio only of HSTA. I really prefer not to do an intense interval workout, or Kickboxing the day after an intense leg workout. I would rather do them on the day before or the same day. I also feel like maybe I would like to work in one steady step workout and one floor workout maybe mixing the HC's with others.
As for the tuna salad I ate yesterday, I just had mixed greens wnd cucumbe with Tuna dumped on top. I put a small amount of Ranch dressing that I made using buttermilk & light sour cream with garlic & seasonings. I add a little vinegar to this. I have done this with HiddenValley Ranch dip mix and thinned it down, but this has MSG in it so it is not good to eat to much of.
