Hardcore Rotation Checkin Tuesday March 22

Mornin' ladies -

I'm on week 4 of the Fatloss rotation and did HC Extreme #1 Circuit workout this morning. That song that plays when we do biceps (and Cathe says "gruntin' and groanin" is stuck in my head, as usual. I did pretty good with it today and even matched Cathe's weights on several exercises. I've been slowly acclaimating myself to Cathe's intensity and I think I'm getting better. I still have not lost weight (but it's that time of the month) and I haven't gained either. I'm still at my usual weight. I really only need to lose 5 pounds, so it's going to be quite a challenge. I'm not sure if my body will actually go 5 pounds lighter without actually doing double aerobics (like I did when I was unemployed for 5 months). Oh well....I wouldn't mind if the scale stayed the same...if these legs would just lean out!

Breakfast is the usual yogurt and shredded wheats (I'm so boring, aren't I). Salad with cheese for lunch and the usual fruit for snacks and a granola bar. Dinner will be low fat swiss cheese, a half of a wheat roll and baked tostitos with salsa and a DQ sugar free fudge bar for dessert (mmmmm chocolate fix for 50 calories).

Have a good day everyone.

I'm still undecided what part of the HC rotation I'm going to do for my last week.....I'm leaning towards the endurance, but I'm not sure.

Good Morning Everyone,

This morning was LowMAx. I just love this workout. Next week I think I will move on to the Muscle Endurance Rotation.

Have a Great Day!

Good Morning!

Did LOW MAX this AM. It was a workout rolling out at 4:15A but I'm determined to get back to my early AM routines. My intensity ebbed and flowed but I did the entire workout including the stretch. Mocha protein shake for breakfast and sipping on my green tea here at my desk. I have the ball and chain on for the next 9 hours! Have a great day everybody!

P.S. At the end of the stretch, Cathe says something like, "You did so good..." and I thought to myself, "Yes, I did." You have to reach inside yourself for those positive affirmations at that hour of the morning!

Hi everyone

Managed a 2.5mile run last night plus Balanced Core - didn't think I'd get the run done cos I've been feeling dizzy for the last few days (think it's just a bug).

This morning did MM - had a few wobbly moments getting up from doing chest/back - but I got through it in one piece!

Eats:
porridge
ryvita & hoummous
mussles & quinoa salad
slice of turkey
apple and nuts
coconut chicken & veggies

Have a great day everyone!
Andrea

Hi Ladies,

I did a 5 mile run yesterday. I was suppose to start week 4 of the Hardcore but couldn't get myself to do weights. I am thinking of moving on to the muscle endurace rotation. I want a change.

So, tonight I plan on a run and Muscle Max.

Have a great day!

Good morning,

I am on week four of ME, but I have been alternating weeks. Today was Imax 3, but I did Imax 2 instead, and ab hits. I will probably go over to the Fat Loss rotation for week 5, until Cathe comes out with the Agonies of April!

Have a good day all!

I did Lomax today, then added some leg presses. 4 sets at 90lbs. I'm looking forward to April's rotation.

Today I plan on doing Lomax:D Next week I will change to Muscle endurance or strength??? Not sure which one...... STILL thinking about it, but am looking forward to doing something different.

Take care,
~Nicole

Hi everyone,

In addition to my Musclemax yesterday afternoon, I added Lowmax and the first segment of Coremax. I could get my feet up off the ground by using Yoga blocks. I intend to do this one often as I can really feel it in my core.

Today will be Imax 3.

I am going to do another round of endurance, but I may tack in BootCamp and Muscle endurance in the mix. ???

I had grapenuts for breakfast. I doing my best to get away from my addiction to Peanut Toffee Cliff bars. I have not have one for 2 weeks. Lunch will be tuna salad and iced tea...I need the buzz for energy. LOL

I read in Oxygen that artificial sweetners will settle in your abdomen that same as sugar does. I wonder if that is really true? If so I had better cut down on using "the pink" as well.

I am hoping that another round of endurance will get me back in cardio shape. I have an inch from the waist to the hips that I would like to make disappear and dropping 4 pounds will not hurt either.

Keep up the hard work everyone.

Wanda!

Sorry for butting in! Just wanted to say Hi! I know how busy you have been. When we don't see you here for a while, we know you are studying HARD GF! I did that segment on CoreMax yesterday too. The old rear and feet just will not lift off the gorund! Grrr! I tried yesterday with my 25# DB's and could raise my rear, but the feet were super-glued to the floor! Will it ever be possible with these short stubs for arms??? Again, sorry for hi-jacking this thread. Just wanted to wave a BIG hello to you over there!

RE: Wanda!

Good Morning,

It was Low Max for me this morning, I like this workout more as I get used to the choreograpgy. I am also in the fourth week of the fat loss rotation, I have dropped a few pounds but the most important change is that I see my abs showing more and more.

Keep Up the good work!

RE: Wanda!

Hey Deb,
I just saw where you emailed me. I need to check my alternate address more often! A great big wave to you.
That first segment of Coremax is quite a challenge. I am using my Yoga blocks and that enables me to get off the ground. Hopefully my arms and core will get stronger soon so as to lower the height of the blocks and eventually not use the blocks at all. My arms are super long so I am not sure having them is an advantage; they sure get in the way when doing pushups.
Two more tests and I am through with the bookwork. It will be total transcription (15 tests)from then on. Oh Boy!

RE: Logos

Just wanted to congratulate you on your accomplishment. Isn't it so cool when you start noticing the results? ;-)

Ok you can tell I have had a busy day. I just posted todays workout on Monday. Well anyway I did Kick Max w/u and Low impact, then KPC, followed this with Gym Style Back,Shoulders, & Biceps, and Core Max tough core and complete core. I won't post everything I posted on yesterdays here. Everyone have a great day.
