Hardcore Rotation Checkin Sunday April 17

Morning Everyone,
Today was GS Biceps, shoulders & back. I also did 30 minutes of Step Blast. I did the band exercises, but went back to my easier band this week and payed attention to form. I also did the rear delt raises, but left my weights at the lower weight. I'm going to see how my traps feel and take it from there. Although, I still don't know what I'm going to do.....just leave out the band and use weights, or avoid working my rear delts doing the rear delt raises??? I don't know if you're rear delts get worked enough indirectly in other exercises to just avoid that exercise or what. I'm frustrated. Also, what are good substitutions for running? Since I don't run, I feel like all of my cardio is the same but I don't know if the Eliptical and Bike are good enough for doing cardio when you only do 20-25 minutes. Should I just go at an all out hard intensity on the machine?

I was up early this morning with gastrointestinal problems and I think I might have a touch of something. When I was lifting, I wasn't able to lift the amount of weight I've been lifting without difficulty. I hope I get better soon, as I'm leaving for Vegas on Friday straight from work.

I noticed not many of us posted yesterday, must be a busy weekend.
Today is my rest day.

Lora, if you still have problems you might just slow the move down doing less reps so you have more control. Also maybe just do a retraction exercise. You might try looking at bodybuilding.com under training, then injury prevention and recovery. There are some informative articles and pictures of exercises there. As far as running, I don't know. I rarely run. I know it works you a lot differently than other cardio. I think I would do an intense all out cardio to replace it myself.

Good morning , I skipped Kick Max This Am ,I'm roller bladding like 6-8 miles later today !!!! Just for fun !!! I figured that would be enough for today !!! Plus everybody was up when I got up and Kick Max is hard to do With hubby and 3 kids in living room with me and Cathe LOL !!!!! Have great days everyone !!!!
 
Ok I need help. Where do I click to submit a new topic? Since at this point I don't know I am going to talk to you about my issues. I need to know what is the best workout to loose inches from my hips? I am so worried that I am going to bulk my legs like some of these women did. I have great upper body, very defined. I just HAVE to get rid of the hips. Granted I like a more straihgt up and down look with just a curve at the waist. That is what I am aiming for. Also do any of you suffer from amenorea due to excercise. I workout 2 hours to 3 hours a day and I haven't had my cycle in 5 months. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

I haven't worked out since Thursday. We put our house on the market 4/11 and are getting a lot of action on the listing. Sooooo...this has meant of course, that my spring cleaning was thrust upon me to prepare for "showings" and I have to vacate the house for sporadic appointments. We're trying to strike while the iron's hot so we're not denying any requests by agents for appointments. I'm not a fanatic, my house is clean, orderly but LIVED IN!!! Of course, people coming to see the house don't want to know we actually "live" here! So I can't leave my delicates out air drying with my sweatband and weight gloves! I feel like I wake up, hit the ground cleaning and I'm cleaning on my way to bed, too! I hope we get an offer soon along with a signed contract so I can resume my "normal" life. Back to training tomorrow! Gotta leave now, someone else is scheduled to "walk thru"! Take care everybody! Pray we have a quick sale!

If you want to start a new post, which is what I think you are asking, go to post at the top of the open discussion page. If you haven't had your cycle you might check with your physician. If you are doing mostly cardio I would think that could cause your problem. I have never had this happen. As, I am just finishing menopause I am not the one to help.

Hello Everyone,
Yesterday was my rest day. Friday I posted that I was going to do GS legs ,but I had the hankering to do S&H legs. I LOVED It!! Just what I needed something slow and relaxing. Anyways today I plan on doing kickmax.

Say I read somewhere that missing you period could be due to working out too much . 2-3 Hours aday sounds like alot to me.I would talk to your DR and cut back until then !!! good luck ...Its not good for your body to "not Clean out " everymonth !!!!

I didn't check in yesterday, but I did workout! I did MIS.

Today I ran 3 miles (DH pushed the stroller) and followed with HSTA. I'm not sure if it's because I ran first, but HSTA is more difficult than HC HST. Starting tomorrow I'm back to the Gym Styles.

I have to now go do some yard work and clean the car.

Hi everyone!

Kim--Hope your house sells quickly! It would stress me out to have to keep our house in "ready to look at" condition all the time. Housekeeping is not (x( !) my forte:p .

I did not get to workout today.

I have had this dreadful recurring abdominal pain--it's totally debilitating and it has occured 5 times since Feb 28. I saw the doctor and he ordered an abdominal catscan, which came back normal. But my white blood cell count is high. I am going back this week to see what the next step is. I cannot live with this kind of pain.

I am going to try to fit in 4 days of workouts over the next 3 days to make up for this lost day.
