Hardcore Rotation Checkin Monday April 11

Morning Ladies -

Today was Kick Punch & Crunch and I did 1 segment of StretchMax also. I'm having the usual yogurt and cereal for breakfast and lunch will be salad with cheese with fruit and pretzels for snacks. I had a "bad eating" weekend and pigged out a bit due to PMS, etc. I always get a little out of control for a couple days when I first start. I hate that!

Last night I actually sat down with Hershey Kisses and I never do that!!! That wasn't enough chocolate apparently because then I fixed a hot chocolate with marshmallows, and it was warm here in Ohio yesterday........80 degrees! But needed that chocolate!
Today I will do GS Back, Shoulder & Biceps, and cut our grass (takes about an hour with the push mower), and TRY , TRY, TRY to eat better! Planning on yogurt before working out, then maybe a protein smoothie after. Salad with grilled chicken and fat free red wine vinegar dressing (my currant fav!) and fruit for lunch.
Just know you weren't alone this weekend!!

Yesterday I did a run and Push Pull. I needed a change from the Hardcores yesterday. I think I will do Kickmax tonight.

A beautiful Monday to everyone, I just love this sunshine! ( With apologies to everyone in Denver )..

Today was CW, I just couldn't bring myself to do HSC today, I am feeling kind of tired, PMSing and all. Still, what a fun workout that is!

Still getting over a cold. I took it easy this weekend and just chased my 4 & 10 year olds around the yard in a game of tag.
I did GS legs floor work and calf raises (trying to improve the sape of my calves)and session 2 of coremax.

I was away for the weekend but...
Friday I did PS Legs and Abs.

Saturday was off.

Sunday I went for a 35 minute run. I'm not sure how far it was though. My quads really hurt today. I am so sold on the whole cross training theory now. I can do MIC and BM and feel no muscle soreness, but after a half hour run I'm sore.

I slept in today (late night yesterday), I'm hoping to do GS C&T tonight (at least the Timesaver). I still unpacking and grocery shopping to do tonight.

I did Biceps, back and shoulders yesterday and today I have extreme pain in my traps and sides of my neck. Does everyone attribute this to the band? I watched my form. I don't know if this is a good sore or bad sore....being that I have neck and shoulder problems. I also did the pullovers with heavier weight than usual....could this have caused the pain?

Todays workouts were I Max 3, Gym Style Chest & Triceps done entirely with the Bowflex, Abs, with the Bowflex & Muscle Max abs & Stretch.

Lora, I too have issues with my neck & shoulders. For me it seems to be the band. This is the only exercise that is different for me. I have raised the weights on other workouts with the pull overs and not had a problem. I do heavier than Cathe for these. It still seems like it could affect the shoulder area some as Cathe says it works the rotator cuff.

Hi Ladies, I did GS back today.Had a bad weekend too ,all that half off easter candy my hubby bought x( x( except for me I just ovulated,thats when its tuff for me !!!!!x( Really staying focused today !!!):) :) I wonder if its the Moon LOL:eek: :eek:
 
The full Moon isn't till the 25th, but I know Mercury just went retrograde.........if that matters to your sun sign at all.
 
Hi Everybody!

I've started Week #2 of the HC Strength rotation. Today was GS Back, Shoulders & Biceps. I'm beginning to see some vascularity in my arms -- very motivating for those of us who don't mind that "look" when we're pumping iron! I feel the duration between the core workouts is too long for me so I also did the Coremax "Tough" 18 min. premix. I'm still getting used to the stability ball but did better today than on Friday. I have an umbilical hernia which was aggravated a little by "planks" so I've got to be careful. It's more of a "cosmetic" flaw...I believe the risk of serious injury would be greater if I opted for a surgical repair of the hernia (not to mention the inherent risk of surgeries).

My diet was very good today...good thing because I indulged in some "white flour" carbs this weekend! Not necessarily a "bad" thing with strength training but I like to keep myself in "check".

HI Ladies,

It was the Viper for me, I needed to burn some calories after a day of very bad eating at a baby shower. Back to clean eating today.

It was a beautiful day here in Maryland!

Looks like I'm west coast evening last:7 :7.

Rainy spring in Oregon, after an extremely warm and sunny late winter...

I did IMAX extreme today, doing 8" for the C&W parts and 6" for the IMAX 2 parts. I also extend the C&W cardio by doing an extra set each side while the crew is doing the compound weight exercises, because I did not want to lift at all today.

I did all the air jacks in interval 5, all the tuck jumps of interval 7 and all the plie jacks in interval 9--a first for me--it must be a Hardcore thang:p

Ugh, but my weight is still plateaued after a good start with the Hardcore series.

Hello Everyone!!
Today I did like many of you:D GS BSB, coremax #1, and lower body body sculpt. I am going to REALLY try and work my lower body more and see what happens??? Wish me luck!!
