Hardcore Rotation Checkin Friday March 18

Mornin' ladies - I'm currently on the Fatloss rotation and did Kickmax Bootcamp Challenge Premix with 10 minutes of the leg toning drills and 1 section of Core Max (the one with the ball). I am unbelievably sore after having those 2 days of rest. Now I know why I don't like to take rest days. I guess my body must have needed it though. Eats so far have been yogurt & a handful of cheerios prior to my workout and yogurt and shredded wheats in a bit. I'll have a meximelt from taco bell minus the meat with spanish rice and a yogurt for lunch. Snacks will be honey wheat pretzels, an apple and a pear. I'm not sure about dinner yet.

Yesterday I did a 35" (3.75mile) run on my treadmill. I haven't run much since my August/Sept/Oct rotations, and ouchie! I am sore today. Today I will deviate a bit from the prescribed Kick Max, and will do the warm up & leg drills only and a stretch max segment. Then I will add the upper body premix of Muscle Max and a core max segment.

Hi Ladies,

Lorajc, glad you are back to working out to full capacity.

I did a 3.4 mile interval run and GS Legs last night. It was a good workout.

Today is just a run and maybe the Step mill. I am going to the gym with a friend. It will be a nice change.

Today will be KM, GS Legs (floor only), HSC (abs only) and SM 1-3. If I feel up to it, I may do Low Max this evening.

Today was Imax 3 and Coremax 2. Imax 3, imo is the hardest of the Imax's, and today I definitely had to modify some of those ^%%^$&*$% blasts!. Can you tell I have a real "love-hate" relationship with this one???;)
 
Mary - it sounds like you and I are in the same boat. For some reason my alarm didn't go off this morning and I'm sure I set it last night (I think my husband might have turned it off). So when I woke up and saw that it was light out I knew I was in trouble. My day was not off to a good start - I have a busy schedule today and I don't know when or if I can squeeze some workout time in - and to top it all off it SNOWED again last night!! I am so sick of winter I could scream!

I thought Fridays were supposed to be good days - but this is feeling like a Monday to me.

Good morning everyone,

I didn't feel well yesterday morning so I workedout at night, I did the Terminator #2 but incredibly enough I felt energized this morning and did BC.

I have a little prayer for Cathe!
May the great spirit almighty creator of everything keep you inspired to keep up your great work as so many of us depend on you for inspiration and great workouts! Amen

Hi Everyone,
I started with Hard Core Extreme Interval blast/legs, Gym Style Back,shoulders & biceps and finished off with Stretch Max w/ the band. I originally planned on doing HC Ex tomorrow but thought I had the energy and wasn't sore so did it today. Tomorrow will have to be something a little lighter. Have a great day:)

Tonight I will do KM. Yesterday I did 9 miles on my airdyne. (35min) Gosh I forgot what a workout that can be. I am happy that I wore my HRM because the way I was going I thought I was in my target and I was not so I had to push myself harder. :eek: I am going to do that again next week in place of 30 min run. I enjoyed riding because I got to READ:D

Yesterday I also did Coremax 2. Boy I really LOVE this one the best!! I love that ball. Also did SM #2 with the ball.

Anybody else feeling tired??? I thought I would get up and do KM this am. but just did not have the energy. I am hoping I will get a 2nd wind for my workout this evening. Wish me luck!!

Hi Nicole - I'm actually tired and my body feels sore.

Does anyone know....Is it okay to do the leg drills from Kickmax 2 days in a row? I did Kickmax this morning with them and tomorrow I'm doing HC Extreme and I was gonna do the workout with the leg conditioning drills. What does everyone think?

Hey give me some of your energy for tomorrow!! I would play it by ear and see how you feel tomorrow and if you feel like it go ahead and do those leg drills :7

Hi Laura,
I would say go for it if you are not sore. I did kickmax the other day and skipped the leg conditioning drills with plans to do the HC Extreme with them Sat.. I ended up doing it today but still allowed a day after GS legs. I wouldn't do it all of the time two days in a row because of the chance of an overuse injury, but think it is alright once in awhile:)
