Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Wed Sept 21

Morning Everyone -

This morning I only had time for Lower Body Blast (new DVD premix). I had to skip my abs, as I have a doctor's appt and need to work the early shift today.

Have great workouts everyone.

Sabrina - Does that book look good? I think I'm going to get it, as I have a gift card from Christmas for Barnes & Nobles.

Morning Everyone!

Ouch! I think I hurt my foot yesterday. I didn't even work out!! I was babysitting my nephews (4 years old and 8 months) and I also brought my little guy. We were playing outside and I was wearing flip flops. I don't know if I turned it funny or something. So, I'm not going to do cardio, but S&H back, biceps, and triceps today. I'll do a CM segment too. I was planning on breaking up the S&H for one body part a day with an emphasis on cardio this week. Oh well!

Thanks for asking about my sil's dad. He will have to have chemo and radiation. My sil came home from the appointment and was very positive.

Susan ~ I e-mailed you. Yes, my kids are really catching on to this karate stuff. At first, I didn't want them to do it thinking it would make them aggressive. Actually, it has toned my DS down! ha ha

Nicole ~ No organizing this week for me. I just keep doing little stuff here and there.

Sabrina ~ What happened with your truck? My dd lost her soccer game and ds won on Saturday. The one b-day was fun, but the second got cancelled. Two of the family members had fevers. Thanks for asking.

Terri ~ How's your rotation treating you?

Morning Ladies!!

Lora-I think the book has a lot of information in it. I don't have many health books though so I am not sure how it compares to other books. Did you see the link I posted yesterday on a review done on the book?

Dallas-I hope your foot gets better soon. Sounds like you had a busy day yesterday, especially since you had all those boys! LOL! I got hail damage from our lovely storm on Monday. I have so dents on the hood and on the top of the truck. Our insurance told me to get a quote and that there is no deductable on having it fixed. Thank goodness! It is not real bad but it bothers me because the truck is so new. :-(

Dallas - I hear you about your foot. I hurt my good foot last week somehow. Be careful with that foot. That's the way I got my stress fracture.....my foot twisted in my shoe! You'd know if it was broken though.

Sabrina - I didn't read the review yesterday. I got too excited about the book. I've read a lot of fitness books but my interest is piqued! Thanks for the info on all of this Jillian Michaels stuff. I don't watch much TV, so I need to hear about these things from my friends.
 
No problem Lora, that is what friends are for! If it helps, I got the last one at the book store yesterday (at least I didn't see any more). LOL! Did you pre-order her DVD's? I have not pre-ordered the Biggest Loser book, I thought I would wait until it comes out and see what it is like. How about you? :)
 
Hi Ladies-Today is gymstyles upper body. I will do some cardio too.

Dallas-The rotation is going well but I tweek it to add more when I need it. I have a new rotation I am thinking of next that Sarah sent me. Good luck with the foot. I hope it will be ok. I am glad that your sil is feeling posiive about things.

Lora-How is your foot /feet doing?

Hello,

My left patella was aching for two days straight, so I changed my w/o today. This morning I did PUB. Wow!! It was tough. This month I had decreased my weights since I was doing circuits for weights, and I felt like I lost a lot of strength. I'm real glad I did this.

Sabrina, that book does look interesting. I read the blog you linked. However, it sounds like a lot of math. For a while I was calculating my calories, carbs and protein and it drove me bonkers! If I changed ONE thing it threw me off. I might look at the book in the store to see what's involved.

Dallas, Have a great time at the concert tonight! I'm sure you'll forget about your foot pain while you're there;)

Thanks for asking. I'm doing very well. I don't even *feel* pregnant. I can do nearly everything as I could five months ago. I've been modifying my workouts only because I thought I should (such as heavy lifting, tuck jumps and abs).
No results back yet. I'll probably find out at my next apt. on Oct 6.

Todays workout was KPC w/u & cardio, then KM bootcamp premix no w/u or st., GS back,shoulders, & biceps. My daughter is on her way with a salad from Subway. I haven't eaten anything yet today anditis already 12:30.

Dallas sorry to hear about your foot. It's sad how we can be so careful working out and then injure ourselves doing something else.

Terri, yes I think my dh is such a sweetie. I love the african violets.

Susan, I think this rotation is helping me get my strength back. After the month of mostly endurance and circuits I felt a lot weaker when I went back to the heavier workouts. This is my third week and I am seeing much improvement.

Hello Everyone,

Today I plan on doing S&H legs and shoulders, and a 30 min. cardio off my timesaver dvd, and than add a stretch.

Sorry I did'nt check in yesterday, but it was my dd B-day, and the day just got away from me:D I did however get my workout in, and finished by 10:15pm ha ha. I did S&H Chest and Back, and then Cathe's timesaver workout number 4 (KPC) and then I did section#2 of total stretch.

Sabrina sorry to hear about your truck, but so happy you are getting it fixed and not have to pay the deductable!! How great is that!!

Lora I agree with you on stretching. I really am liking the new stretch dvd!! I think this one will definitely be one of my most used dvds. I am really going to focus on getting stretching in. I really need it and it feels so darn good esp. on that ball!!

Dallas sorry to hear about your foot!! Sounds like you have a good workout planned today!! I thought about adding S&H shoulders into my workout last night, but just did not have the mental energy.They say calcuim helps with sleeping. Are you getting enough???

Susan I feel I am in the same boat as you ha ha. I did'nt do alot of wts for the last few months, and I started back to it this week, and boy I feel my muscles are smoking :7 Sounds like PUB did that for you to!! Hey have you thought about getting a knee brace for your knee when you do your workouts???? I know some people who do that have knee problems swear by them.
