Hardcore Rotation Check-in March 10 - Thursday

Morning ladies,
I'm doing the Fatloss rotation and did MuscleMax this morning. If I were listening to my body (but I like Saturday as my rest day), I would have taken a rest day today. Body is tired and it was difficult to get thru it. I don't think I'm 100% myself due to certain stressors in my life right now and not being able to sleep well this week. I'm having oral surgery on Monday, so we'll see how that day goes. I'm a bit worried. I'm a wimp.

Anyway, eating yogurt now and then some oatmeal. Lunch will be salad with cheese, beets, etc. and snacks will be granola bar and fruit. Dinner will most likely be a few slices of cheese, a half of a wheat roll and a serving of baked (lowfat) tortilla chips with lots of salsa and a DQ sugar free fudge bar for dessert (best part) & I'll probably have an apple later on.

Hey Lorajc I hope you are feeling OK. Perhaps a nice bath tonight or good stretch will aid you. Extra water always helps me feel refreshed on a sluggish day.

I can identyfy with preferring a rest day on a certain day. Sunday is mine.I can wake up and drink as much coffee as I like LOL and plan out my meals and schedule for the week while the kids sleep.

We are on the same day of fat loss rotation and I will start Low Max just a little bit here.

I probably need to stretch more with this rotation than I am. I feel tight all the time. I really must make the time for extra stretching.

Funny you mention how tight you are. When I was in the shower this morning washing my arms, my biceps felt like rocks. I was like...dude ...what is up with this? cool! I usually do add stretching on my aerobic days but I couldn't this week cuz I had 2 doctor appointments and had to be at work an hour earlier, so it cut into my time. Next week I'll stretch more and tomorrow and Saturday...yes.

Lorajc, I hope your surgery goes well.

I'm doing Low Max today. And like Lorajc and Judy, I'm pretty sore, so I'm thinking of doing all of Stretch Max afterwards.

B- oatmeal w/ raisins & splenda
s- 3 scrambled egg whites with salsa and 1 piece whole wheat toast
L- Sliced baked eggplant with fat free ricotta and a little pasta sauce, grapes
S- protein shake
D- vegetarian burritos, salad with cottage cheese instead of dressing, nectarine

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone! Hopefully today will be a better day for me than yesterday - I got caught up in kid stuff and life stuff and never did get to my workout.
so, I hauled myself out of bed this morning and did Kick Max. I am feeling tight as well - especially in my hamstrings, so I am going to try and sneak in Stretch Max during nap time today (and maybe Core Max - ha!ha!) I do not like having my ab work as a separate workout (rather than at the end) it is SO easy for me to put it off and then never do it.

I have a question for those of you posting your food for the day - obviously this is what you are planning to eat today- but do you always stick to it? I try to plan out healthy food, but somehow I always end up straying from that. I am so impressed with how healthy you all eat!

Have a great day. Tomorrow I will do Low Max and just skip the running day (since it is too snowy and icy to run anyways).

Hi Ladies,

Last night I did a 3.4 mile interval run and GS Legs. I am really liking these gym style workouts. The band thrown in is a nice change.

Today will be Kick max and a short run.

Lorajc, good luck with your surgery.

I hope you ladies get stretched out and feel more loose...;-)

I am off work tomorrow and going shopping with a friend. I am looking forward to a day out and off of work.

Have a great day!!

I stick to my menu because that's the only kind of food I have in the house! LOL! SO and I don't go out to eat so my food plans don't get disrupted. :)

Good morning ladies,

Today was GS BSB, Core Max #2 and Stretch Max w/the ball.

Beverly- I am really enjoying the band too.

Lorajc-Hope your surgery goes well! I have had oral surgery(wisdom teeth) and it was not fun. Good luck!

Hello everyone,

It's good to see everyone sticking with their rotations! This morning I did IMAX 1 instead of LowMax. The first 3 intervals were tough since the heavy weights I added on yesterday for legs.
Felt great, ended with CM1.

I actually look forward to my run tomorrow. I've got to go faster this time. 2.5 miles in a half hour....that's bad.

How fast does everyone else go?

Lorjc, I hope your surgery goes well. Keep us posted.

Yes, that is basically my normal schedule of eats. The only thing I don't put on my food for the day is the 3 caramel creams I allow myself every afternoon because I have a wicked sweet tooth and can't go without. Friday or Saturday is my cheat day and I either have a hot fudge sundae from the DQ and movie popcorn (no butter though) or I have a veggie meximelt and spanish rice from Taco Bell with Cinnamon Twists as my fattening treat. This works pretty well. Knowing that you have this special treat at the end of the week for being good all week. Although, I will admit it is very hard to turn down chocolate and donuts at work. I hardly ever eat donuts or such at work....maybe 3 times a year. I also eat no fried foods or meat. I have dietary restrictions on the fried food and I hate meat. The other thing that has become a habit...I stay away from empty calories, like salad dressings with mega calories and cream sauces, etc. However, every once in a while, when PMSing I pig out on food....not necessarily bad food, but just too much food and maybe some chocolate. Keep up the good work. The longer you eat like this, the more of a habit it will become

Hi Everyone,

I did GSBSB Timesaver and C&W (step only). I really need to get up earlier to fit all of the Gym style workouts in plus a cardio.

Lorjc, good luck with your surgery.

I'm looking forward to next week doing Lowmax. I have not done this one all the way through.

Hi Ladies,

I did HCE3 but skip the legs at he end and did core max 1. The legs at the end of kick max seem too easy for me. I am doing squats with 50 pounds bodybar or I don't feel anything. For Chest I am also doing 50 pounds, is amazing how the body gets so strong.

Hi everyone--

Hope your surgery goes well, Lorajc--do you know how long recovery will take? I've had oral surgery before (impacted wisdom teeth) and I was laid low for a few days.

Oh I wish the leg conditioning drills at the end of Kick Max were easy for me--something to work for, yes?

Today is my rest day. Friday I start a fresh week alternating the extremes with the gym styles.

take care all
Maggie

Good luck Lorajc, I hope it is over before you know it!

Hi all!

Today was supposed to be an off day, but I have to keep up my current level of soreness so I did Franny's 9906 Hi/lo and Cathe's ab hits.

Have a great day!

Lorajc hope everything goes well and you have a quick recovery!!:)

This evening I will be doing lowmax.

Bev have FUN with you day of shopping.:D

Take care,
~Nicole

It looks like I'm behind here today. This is the first chance I have had to get on the computer. I did HC Extreme #3, MM lower premix, GS legs calves and floorwork, and stretch max w/ the ball this morning. Then have been running errands and cleaning house. Now I'm on my way out to dinner hopefully somewhere with some good healthy choices on the menu:9 Hope you all have a great day.

Lorajc: hope your dental surgery goes well!

I'm feeling tight as well. I did do a little stretching today. Hope that helps!

ya'll are doing soo good w/ your eating!

I'm doing ok in that area. room for improvement...but overall, still on the calorie budget and WWpts...trying VERY hard to eat clean...let's hope for the best!
