Hardcore Rotation Check-in 3/5/05

Mornin' Ladies - It's Saturday and my rest day for the Fat Loss Rotation I'm doing. I did 1 segment of Stretch Max (cuz I did one yesterday also) and 20 minutes of an AM Kundalini Yoga routine that I do every Saturday and Sunday morning. I may practice some dance later in the day (if I have time) but it won't be anything too strenuous.

I usually weigh myself on Saturday or Sunday in the AM and I just weighed myself and I've actually only gained 1/2 pound this week so the 2 pounds the other day must have been water weight. I still have to try harder with my diet. However, Saturday is generally my cheat day and I allow myself a Sundae from the DQ. Haven't quite decided if I'm going to allow that yet. We'll see.

I'm doing the same workouts I did this week next week and then I'll be happy for weeks 3&4 cuz the aerobics is upped to 6 days a week!! Hopefully, I'll lose a pound or two after those 2 weeks. Weight is becoming more and more of a battle in my mid 40's. I'm sure you ladies can relate. Have a great Saturday everyone. I don't run (due to cervical disc problems) so tomorrow, I'll probably do 45 minutes on my urban rebounder cuz my hubby doesn't want me in the basement using the Elipitical or Bike cuz he's doing Power 90X and I know he doesn't want me in his way ....while he's grunting and flexing!! he he...Have a great workout everyone! Morning everyone!

Did Low Max this morning (FLR) - finding it difficult to get up and down the stairs now - legs are fried :)

Had some Tanita Innerscan scales delivered yesterday so now I've got an idea about my body fat - even if it's not that accurate, at least I should still see a reduction from 28.7%!

Still undecided whether to repeat this week or alternate with week 3. Imax 3 was delivered this morning so if I stick to this week again, I'll get a chance to do it for the first time...decisions. What are the rest of you on the Fat Loss doing?

Good Morning ladies . I should be doing Muscle Max right now .. But I'm going shopping this morning For More dumbbells and a Barbell . So I may do it later today . Other wise Sunday I will do it .I am soo excited to get more workout stuff . My dog woke me up at 2 am and I had trouble falling back asleep just thinking about the barbell !!! How funny is that LOL I'm an Official Cathe addict now :) :) :) Bye have great days
 
Good Morning!

After breakfast, I'll be doing Kick Max, then a Core Max section. Tonight, I'll do Low Max and a Stretch Max section.

Breakfast is an egg beater omelet with black beans and half of a pomelo.

Good morning ladies,

I don't run, even though I own a treadmill..lol. I ended up doing Seusan Z. TNS and I did Core Max Premix #2 Complete Core?? I also did Stretch Max #3 w/the band. I really love that segment. Tomorrow is my off day & the first week of the strength rotation is completed. I am really enjoying this rotation so far. Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm doing cathe's FLR and someone asked about doing week 2 or going on to week 3 and then come back to week 2??
well, I'm going to stick to the rotation to a "T"! I started a day early and it's suppose to be a stretch day. But, I opted to go on and I did IMAX3. I'll take my rest day tomorrow and get back on track on monday. does that make sense??
Imax3 today: I did intervals 1-5 and then did the step combos only 1-5...great workout. I am so tired!

Good morning everyone--

I've lost 2 lbs since starting this phase of my hardcore rotation 2 weeks ago--a 42 lb total since October 2003. I had a total plateau from November to February (because of my love of food.)

I've really been watching my portion sizes and my snacking--that seems to be the key at this point of my fitness journey.

Today its Hardcore Extreme workout #2, which I have not done before and am looking forward to.

Hey everyone,
I did MM today. The core section was tough since I did CM tough premix yesterday.

Started out the day eating very well, and just made some Date bread for my neighbors....of course I had to have some!

To top if off, we're going out tonight for dinner, drinks and State Wrestling tournament.

I havent done HCE #2 yet, Maggie. Look forward to hear what you think. I have LM for tomorrow.

Hi again--

Just did Hardcore Extreme #2 and topped it off with a much needed stretch (insert sweaty and frazzled looking smiley here:p )

Susan--I thought HCX 2 was harder than the description sounded, in fact I had to take a short water break/rest (about 90s) between the last IMAX 3 interval and the KM blast because I was pretty winded. I switched step heights between 8" for the Low Max segments and 6" for the IMAX segments.

(Oh and thank you for the workout sheets for HSC and the GS workouts that you made so nicely. I downloaded them from video fitness fanatics and have been using them. They are a great improvement over my regular sloppy notes!)

Maybe my breakfast did not give me enough energy today or maybe it is an exceptionally tough work out for me. I'll be doing it again next week and will be interested to see how my body responds.

Today I did I Max 3, Core Max #2& #3, and stretch Max with the stability ball. Now I am off to the movies and to enjoy my day.

Today I did my long run which was 9.2 miles and a segment of Core Max with the band. I am finished with my first week of the strength rotation with the extra running added in.

I have done this one once and found it to be a good tough workout. I raise and lower the step for these as well. I usually have always done 8" step height. I have done all of the HC X at least one time. The hi/low one I have done three times. I personally like the challenge one better than HSC. That may change later though after doing them a few times:) I also downloaded the worksheets off of videofitnessfanatics.com. Thanks a whole lot for these!!

Now it's good evening to all! I'm doing the muscle building rotation. Yesterday was kickmax...I was not into it so did the first two parts and then the lowmax blasts. They were fun! Today was supposed to be running, but I did the HC premix #3-that was a lot of fun. I got my kickmax blast in there! I didn't do the kickmax legs section-did MM lower body only and enjoyed that. Doing the HC premixes has helped me "get" the IMAX intervals. They are tricky for me to learn! Just having a few to do at a time when I'm not completely wiped out from the first few has been good for my brain! Have a great weekend everyone.
