Jolie - Nice job with your workouts.

Roselyn - Nice job with the trampoline workout. How are you liking the new Caroline workouts? Are they done similarly to how her workouts were on Youtube?

Diane - I know what you mean about Charlie. So sad and I feel so bad for his wife and kids. And OMG, they were there when it happened. How awful that must have been. I hope they find whoever did it and hang him!! Unbelievable. Great job with your workout!!

Belinda - So glad to hear everything went well. When it comes to the eyes, I always worry about what kind of damage might happen with surgeries like that. Glad you are ok!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Hi,

I walked outside. Felt good to move this morning.

I saw the surgeon yesterday. I can’t do any type of yoga/pilates to protect my eye. I have another follow up appointment in 2 weeks. I am allowed to go for an easy walk. Besides going for a walk he doesn’t want me to take a risk on my eye.I will follow the instructions from the doctor. I honestly don’t want to go through any more eye surgery for awhile. I will walk daily.

Debbie - thanks you! I hear you on your concerns. I did had the same concerns you have. My eyesight wasn’t getting any better. I did a lot of research before I underwent surgery. I am glad I did. Now of those day’s getting eye surgery isn’t a big deal anymore, the do those procedures daily. You do have to do your homework on a good surgeon.

Diane - thank you! Me too. I just have to be very carful. In 2 weeks I will see the neurosurgeon. Hopefully that will go well too.

Roselyn - thanks! I am glad it’s over too.

That’s it for me today.

Today I did LMR bonus cardio premix double low impact cardio, 30 minutes, 203 calories. I also did CDorner Stress Relief stretch, 26 minutes, 59 calories. I did not work out Saturday and Sunday and took a break.

Debbie, nice work on Box and Pump #8. Has Kelly put up many new workouts?

Belinda, good job on getting in a walk today. Thanks for the link.

Roselyn, nice job on the glute and hamstring workout.

Jolie, good job on the walks and Meso #1 workouts.

This morning I was looking for the workout Kelly does with her brother. It's a Heavy Bag/Shadow Boxing workout. I thought it was called Kickbox Contouring - which I did find. It wasn't. So I searched again and I can't find the one with her brother in it. I'm wondering if her brother didn't want to be on Youtube or something. I will look more ater, I ran out of time and ended up doing RAW Kickbox Contouring.

This is just an ok workout, after I started doing it, I know I had done it in the past. It's ok. It alternates between shadow boxing, kickboxing and an upper and lower body weight segment. She says it's 1 minute intervals but it's more like 1 min. and 20 seconds. It's too long in my opinion. The exercises seem to go on forever.

This is how it went:

Shadow Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (Lower body KB moves): 2# hand weights
Push/Press: 12's
Side to Side Lunges: 12#

Shadow Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (Lower body KB moves: no weights
Hammer Curls: 12's
Alternate Kickstand Deads: 12's

Shadow Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (lower body KB moves): no weights
Bend & Row: 12's
Goblet Squats: 12#

Shadow Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (Lower body KB moves): no weights
Chest Flies: 12's
Skull Crusher into Sit-Up: 12's

Shadow Boxing Finisher: 2# hand weights

Workout was 46 minutes, burned 336 calories, did 2533 steps and HR was 130/169.

Belinda - Thanks for the YT workout. I will try it out soon. I need to do more stretching.

Roselyn - Great workout

Diane - Nice job on your workout! Kelly has put out a couple of new workouts but they are vibration workouts. Whatever the heck that is. I wish she'd put out more just Shadow Boxing workouts. I am going to request them via an email to her. She ony has 3 just shadow boxing workouts, the others include kickboxing. Do you remember what the name of the workout is that she did with her brother? For some reason I thought it was Kickbox Contouring but obviously it isn't.

Have a great day and workouts everyone!!

Good morning! Yesterday was a 3.6 mile walk with the pup thru the hills. Today I did STS Meso 1 Disc #1 Chest, Shoulders and Biceps and had a great workout. I am getting so much stronger, I think adding in more protein into my meals has really made a difference in my strength.

Debbie, great job on the workout even though it wasn't what you were hoping for.

Roselyn, great workout yesterday.

Diane Sue, way to go on taking the weekend off, sometimes we just need a good break! Nice job on the workout yesterday.

Belinda, how is your eye doing? It is nice to hear that they could fix it! Thanks for posting the YouTube video, I want to try it!

Have a great day.

Today I did RAW Shadow Boxing 1 and I do like this workout but the music is just a big turn off for me. Mostly Maroon 5 and I just don't like that group. But whatever. I just wish there was a way to turn the music off and just follow her with my own.

I somehow ran out of time, not sure what happened. So I was only able to do a little more than half the workout.

Workout was 37 minutes, burned 295 calories, did 2848 steps and HR was 136/184. And believe me, my HR never got that high. I didn't even break a sweat with this one. So not a stellar workout but ok for today.

Jolie - Nice job with your workouts! What sort of protein are you eating?

Hope you all have great workouts today!

Yesterday I did LITE Body Weight and Band with bonus extended stretch, 51 minutes, 194 calories.
Today I did CDorner Step for 37 minutes, heart rate 110/135, 181 calories. My heart rate was low most of the time I looked at my watch. Sometimes it was down to 104. I also did part of a yoga workout Chris did today and some costochondritis therapy moves.

Debbie, I know which workout you are talking about. It was one of Kelly's earlier workouts. I know it is not the kickbox and contouring one. I looked through my notebook and could not find a printout. It may have been on her original youtube channel. Nice job on Raw Shadowboxing #1.

Jolie, good job on Monday's walk and yesterday's STS Meso 1 Disc #1 Chest, Shoulders and Biceps.

Belinda, nice work on the yoga chair work. I have been working on my upper body a lot for loosening up. For some reason my shoulders are extremely sore and my chest. I saved the chair yoga stretch and will try it out.

Roselyn, nice work on the spin interval workout.

This morning I was going to lift weights but my right wrist is hurting for some weird reason. When I turn it a certain way I get a pain shooting through my wrist. Weird. So I just opted to walk on my treadmill, figured that was safe.

Workout was 45 minutes, burned 289 calories (low for this), went 2.2 miles, did 5283 steps and HR was 120/133 (low again, weird).

Roselyn - I'm curious, what was the sprint workout? Did you follow someone?

Diane - Great job with your workouts! No, I don't think that workout was only on her old YT channel. I remember doing it through the RAW app. Oh well. I emailed Kelly, I hope she responds. No biggie, she has so many other workouts, but I just remember liking that one.

Have great workouts everyone!!

Debbie, the sprint workout is on YouTube by Michelle biehler it’s supposed to be good for perimenopause and menopausal women and it’s pretty in line with what dr Stacy Sims recommends in her book so it’s 30 seconds of high intensity cardio 30 seconds of rest. I think you do that four or five times then you have a four minute rest between sets and I think you do that four times maybe check it out it’s fine You can also use a assault bike or your treadmill or sprint on a trampoline or anything fast for 30 seconds.

Today was a quad day
