This morning I did RAW Lower Lift & Kick. I really liked this workout and I wanted to work legs today. This one is a good one for that. Next time I will use 30# for the Deadlifts/Squat Ups and the Lunges. 25# was too easy.

Each exercise is 1 minute

Elevated Heel Squats: 25#
R/L Chamber Kicks
Repeat

Glute Squat: 30#
R/L Back Kicks
Repeat

Deadlifts/Squat Ups: 25#
Knee Circle/Twist
Repeat

Alternate Side Lunge: 25#
R/L Side Kick
Repeat

I did about 10 minutes of lower body stretching as well.

Workout was 44 minutes, burned 269 calories, HR was 119/147.

Great workouts this weekend everyone!! No time for personals and I have a crazy week ahead!

Saturday, I did Raw Box and Pump 8 38 minutes, 144 calories, heart rate 111/135 and Walk Strong 3 Jessica Smith Total Stretch, 18 minutes, 32 calories. Sunday was a rest day. Today I did CDorner Power Step 28 minutes (did the warmup twice because I restarted with cardio setting, heart rate 138/164. Finished with CDorner Full Body Stretch with towel, 33 minutes, 39 calories. My ribs and chest hurt so bad. I called my doctor and am going in tomorrow morning. I need to find out what is really causing this. I keep waking up in pain and having to take Advil and use my heating pad. I want to be sure I know what is wrong before making decisions on med. Being careful today with putting pressure on chest wall and ribs.

Belinda, window cleaning is a lot of work. I could never reach the top of windows without a ladder. Our last house I never cleaned the outside of the upstairs windows myself.
Nice work on the walk yesterday and today's Jessica Smith week 2 upper body plus stretch.

Roselyn, nice work on STS 2 legs and bullyjuice 10 minutes abs, yesterday and today's STS shoulders and hiit bully juice.

Debbie, great job on Raw Lift and Kick workout.

This morning I did RAW Kickboxing #5 and I know I've done this one before and I really like it. The combos are fun. Kelly says it's fast and it's not necessary to use egg weights, but I used them for all the combos except the last one which was really fast. The others were very doable with egg weights. Good music in this one, just wish I could have heard it. Until the end, she kept it really low.

I then did STS 2.0 Metabolic Standing Abs which is my favorite on this DVD. That is a great little workout.

Total time was 52 minutes, burned 422 calories, did 4424 steps and HR was 138/178.

Belinda - Great workout yesterday!

Roselyn - Hope you had fun in Springfield. Great job with your workouts.

Diane - I'm so sorry you are in such pain with your ribs. I'm glad you are going to get them looked at. Maybe they should do an Xray? Sounds like maybe one is cracked or something. That just doesn't sound right at all. Keep us updated.

Have a great day everyone!

Yesterday's workout was a 3 mile walk with the pup. Today's workout was RAW Burn Out Upper Body, and I did really well with the weights, I went lighter and more reps than Kelly. Workout was 40 minutes, but I have no calorie burn to report, I forgot to charge my watch last night. My right shoulder hurts a little bit when I do chest presses so I have to go really light right now till I get it fixed by the Chiro. I was supposed to go yesterday but I screwed up the days. I will be going tomorrow first thing in the morning so it will be my rest day.

Debbie, great job on the past two workouts, those look great! I will write them down and give them a try.

Roselyn, nice job with the sts workouts!

Diane Sue, I am so sorry to hear about your pain, I hope the doctors get to the bottom of the issue, so you do not have to live in such pain. Nice job on the workout yesterday even though you are going through this pain.

Belinda, great job on the workout yesterday.

I cannot believe that it is almost November already! Have a great day.

Hi,

I had physical therapy for my neck/shoulder/biceps/ knees this morning. I did JS Strengthen: Lower Body, really liked it. It was Push/Pull set #1 quadriceps + hamstring. Set 2: Glutes + Hip Fexors, Set #3 Adductors + Abductors, on the end she did a nice cool down/mobility. I also added 10 total body mobility.

I am scheduled for laser surgery for cataracts. Nov, 11 I am scheduled for pre op.

Diane - I am so sorry you in so much pain. I hope your doctors can figure out what is wrong. I hope you feel better soon. I was wondering the same as Debbie? I hope you didn’t cracked on:( that’s how I have to clean windows with a ladder. I am too old to clean like that, lol. DH cleans the outside. We are still looking for the tilt windows.

Debbie - great job on your kickboxing workout today.

Jolie - nicely done today.

I am getting ready for a walk. BBl

No workout today. I went to my doctor and she says she thinks it is costochondritis/tietze. She asked lots of questions and pushed around on the area. I kept thinking the symptoms went more along costochondritis. She did send me to the imaging place and they did x-rays so we can be sure nothing was missed. So, she gave me a prescription of meloxicam to take for a few days when I am inflamed, and I picked up the suggested Salon Pas lidocaine patches. Also, she suggested I be avoid exercises that set off the inflammation. Hopefully the x rays come back okay.

Debbie, good job on Raw kickboxing #5 and STS 2 standing metabolic abs.I really liked that one too. I guess I need to lay off kickboxing for a bit though. At least till the pain lets up. I have been skipping weights with the kickboxing workouts because they just seem to aggravate things. I still get my heart rate up well.

Roselyn, nice work on STS 2 Chest.

Jolie, nice job on the walk yesterday with the pup and today's Raw Burn Out Upper Body workout. I hope the chiro helps your shoulder.

Belinda, nice work on Physical therapy and doing JS Strengthen Lower Body. That sounds like a good lower body workout. I missed stretching and mobility work today. I am hoping to get some in tomorrow. I was told by an eye doctor that cataract removal was pretty simple procedure. I was talking to someone recently and I guess there is set up appointments etc as well.
I hope you can find the pull down windows. If I find a name for some I will let you know. I have lots of papers and manuals on things installed in this house by the builder, but I have not come across the windows. They really put a lot into this house.

This morning I did STS 2 Biceps (One Body Part) and had a great workout. I went higher in weights with some exercises. I could have gone higher with the barbell curls and next time I will.

This is the workout:
Barbell Curls: 30# - 2 sets/8 reps
Barbell Curl/Pause Reps: 30# - 8 rep
Kneeling Alt. Sweeper Curls: 15's - 8 reps (I did these seated)
Kneeling Double Arm Sweeper Curls: 16's - 8 reps (I them seated)
Hammer Curls: 20's - 8 reps
CrossBody Curls: 16's - 8 reps
Kneeling Hammer/CrossBody Curls: 16's - 6 reps (I did them standing)
Incline Curls on Stability Ball: 15's - 2 sets/10 reps
Single Arm Preacher Curls: 17.5# - 2 sets/8 reps (I did concentration curls because the way she does these on the stability ball does not feel right to me)
Banded Dumbbell Curls: 15# band plus 5's - Lots of reps
Reverse Curls: 12's - 2 sets/12 reps
Barbell Wrist Curls: 8's - 16 reps (I used dumbbells)

Workout was 43 minutes, burned 181 calories and HR was 100/137.

Jolie - Great job with your workouts!! Yes, you have to try some of the RAW workouts I have done recently. They are all fun!

Belinda - I will need to have cataract surgery soon too. Just a matter of time. Hope it goes well for you. Usually you can see a lot better after they do that.

Diane - I will need to look up costochondritis, never heard of it. Glad you were able to get X-rays, they should do a thorough check to make sure something isn't cracked or broke. I hope that whatever it is, it gets better soon. So sorry to hear you are going through all of this. :(

Roselyn - Great job with your workout!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi,

SBF Core plus JS Fusion Core with the small ball. I really enjoy her workouts.

Yes, I am not lifting super heavy. Instead of breaking my body down, she is building it up. Her workouts just feel better on my body. The focus with her program is to lean your body out. In addition to the muscle building work she does, she also include other elements that are important to a well rounded program, including power training, balance and agility work, mobility and recovery sessions, along with more light to moderate cardio options as well as high intensity interval training offerings.

Tomorrow is my DD’s birthday. Her and I will go to a salt cave for a spa treatment. Afterwards we having lunch at a vegan restaurant she really likes.

Diane - it makes sense you have costochondritis. You said you coughing a lot. I am so sorry you are going through this. I hope the meds help your pain. That is the reason, I am changing my workout routine, everything is just triggering my inflammation plus I am breaking my body down. I am giving my body a little Time to heal. I am glad you listen to your body. Feel better soon. I heard cataract removal was pretty simple procedure. My eyes are getting so bad :( They only do one eye at a time. The 2nd will be done 2 weeks after. We been shopping around for windows, DH thinks he can find good window for a lot cheaper than Bella windows estimate.

Debbie - sorry you have to go through it soon too. That’s what I heard that you can see right away too. I watched a video on TV about cataract surgery. The surgery it self only takes 15 to 30 min. Recovery takes a little longer. Great job on your workout.

Jolie - nice workout.

Have a great day and workout.

Good Afternoon,

Went for a 2.03 mile walk before the thunderstorms hit couldn’t go south the wind was blowing 44 miles per hour.

Yesterday I just did CDorner morning mobility for 12 minutes to move, because my back and neck were starting to bother me, probably from shifting positions to get comfortable all night. I have been watching costochondritis videos on youtube. Only watch reliable sources and check for background. I caved this morning and ordered this device that will be good also for thoracic spine, posture and back. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYNZBV3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was watching Bob and Brad and they recommended this and gave a link to the founder of the item. I did lie on my foam roller for a bit yesterday. I put the order in this morning, and it should be here today. It is rather expensive, but I am ready to try anything. We went to do early voting yesterday but came home and decided to wait till Tuesday. The tech center was packed and people lined up to the back of the parking lot. I really was not ready to stand there for hours. It was for the whole county so makes sense that it was so busy. That was just day one.
I should hear back on the x-rays soon. My doctor said it would take a few days. I think the last time on the knee it was 3 days.
Debbie, nice work on STS 2 Biceps yesterday. I have been pretty sure symptoms were costochondritis. I have watched many videos and read stuff on symptoms on medical sites. I just wanted to be sure, particularly after the arthritis doctor suggested inflamed pleura. Plus this has been off and on again for about 5 years. It just has gotten worse and stays longer. Does not take much to trigger it.

Belinda, nice job on SBF Core plus JS Fusion Core with the small ball. I do like that type of work. I am thinking of doing some barre work for legs. I can probably handle that.
I know you will be glad to have your vision back. They told me I have some cataracts forming, but the last visit I can still see 20/20 with my glasses. Years ago I had a two step laser procedure, but eyes still age. Now I wear glasses. Yes, I cough a lot and really hard which I am sure does not help at all. No doctors have been able to help that either. Meds do not work. It is sad that we have to lighten up our workouts, but we can still do stuff that keeps us healthy and strong. I think I may need stronger meds to slow the RA down. All the inflammation just deteriorates the bones along with the osteoarthritis.

Roxie, good job getting out for a walk before the rain. We had a much needed down pour last night. This has been a warm very dry October here.

Roselyn, nice work on STS 2 Triceps.

This morning I did RAW Box, Bands and Abs. I really like this workout, I've done it once before.

This workout was tabata style (sort of) and was 30 seconds on/10 seconds off.

Boxing: 8 sets of different moves - 1.5# egg weights
Cloth Band: Squat Pulses (burner!) - Pink cloth band
Abs: Seated Knee Pulls

Boxing: 8 sets of different moves - 1.5# egg weights
Cloth Band: Squat Outs - Pink cloth band
Abs: Reverse Crunch (legs up and out)

Boxing: 8 sets of different moves - 1.5# egg weights
Elastic band: Side Steps (Firewalkers) - green elastic band
Abs: Plank, Knee In, Leg up (I did Dead Bug)

Workout was 45 minutes, burned 357 calories, did 2683 steps and HR was 139/186.

Diane - What does that device do? How do you use it? My brother has something similar to what you are experience in his ribs, I"m wondering if I should share with him that device? I checked the link out but it really doesn't show pictures of how it's used. Anyways, I hope it helps you. I like Bob and Brad, I'm sad to see one of them is very ill - it seems he has something wrong with his motor skills if I'm thinking correctly. So sad.

Roselyn I love the one body part workouts a lot. STS 2 is a great series.

Roxie - Great job with your walk. It's VERY windy here, too. 40 mph tonight and rain. Of course, just in time for Halloween and trick or treating.

Belinda - My mom had that surgery on her eyes and she healed in about a day. I was amazed. Hope you have a great time with your DD celebrating her birthday!!

Have a great day everyone!

Backpod how to use
The booklet gives instructions on how to use and there is a segment for healthcare professionals. Different areas the body pod can be used for besides costochondritis.
there is a video on their website as well

This morning I did Killer Legs premix warm up barre and stretch. I also did Flow with Myra upper body stretch/pilates which uses a rolled up towel. My doctors office called and says everything looks okay on the x-rays so continue with the plan for costochondritis

Debbie, nice job on Raw Box bands and abs today. I saw some youtubes others have put up on how the backpod helped their costochondritis. I did see someone asking if Bob or Brad was getting better. One of them was dealing with costochondritis on the video that I watched. They have had the guy Steve that created the backpod on their website a couple of times. The back pod came and I have been reading over the book and looked at the how to videos. There are other uses for different problem areas.

Google Afternoon,

I walked on the treadmill 2.13 miles it’s only 60 here today. Our dog is sick she is throwing up and pooping everywhere but DH refuses to let me take her to the vet I will give her the weekend if she isn’t better taking her anyway. This is the night we go through over 500 pieces of candy.
