Hardcore Fitness Maniacs October 2025!

Today I did CDorner Fat Burning Cardio/Hiit, tabata, aerobics + stretch, 47 minutes, 254 calories. When she got to the tabata it was mostly on hands with burpees, mountain climbers. I subbed high knees and speed skaters, along with a squat hop. It worked okay. The stretch was 13 minutes. I then did a few other stretches. I seem to be behind this week at getting started. Not sleeping well at night and falling asleep during the day. It really messes up my schedule.

Debbie, nice work on Box and Pump #2. That is one of my favorites. I hope that you feel better. I noticed today that I could reach overhead okay, but lateral arm moves hurt into the shoulder. It has been bothering me when I sleep and I keep having to move my arm throughout the night. I hope it goes away.
I just threw my old digital jukebox player that is full of music I purchased through music match and I had 8 cardio coach workouts on it. I only have 3 or them on cd's. I couldn't pull them off the player anymore and it does not work to hook up to anything. I have not CD drive anymore and there is no website for it anymore. Makes me mad. The same thing happened to me with my Sony Reader, except they set up a place where I could still get the books I had purchased.

Belinda, nice that you got in a walk after your appointment along with the pilates shoulder work. I hope the steroid helps. I like the workouts. I think I will just add them together or add to other workouts. I started a cardio yesterday, but it did not click with me. No music and not much of a cardio workout. Maybe if I would have kept up with it would have been better. I prefer music with cardio. Stretching does not matter so much. She does give a lot of good instruction on the moves. The 17minute scoliosis one is helpful. All of the other stuff she has like recipes and help stuff sounds like a good thing as well with the sign up. I almost signed up for a month or two of Cathe Live, but wondered if I would have a hard time doing them right now.

Roselyn, nice work on the upper body workout.

This morning I did RAW Kickboxing #7 and had an ok workout. Wasn't really into it this morning, just didn't feel like to work out.

Workout was 35 minutes, burned 277, did 3361 steps and HR was 133/162.

I don't have time for personals, I'm taking my mom to the foot doctor and leaving soon.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning,

Kelly suggested I do her vibration Board series without the board for 2-3 weeks then we will reevaluate depending on how things are going. She is such a caring person. I am trying to figure out how to get her workouts on Roku I used my IPad this mornin. We spend last week at the lake it was beautiful and today it’s only in the 50’s.

Jolie-sorry about your mother glad she is getting better.

Roselyn-sorry to hear about your MIL.

Hi,

Today I did Cl# 520 Turned Up Trisets UB plus Pilates abs.

Diane - great job on the Fat Burning Cardio/Hiit, tabata, aerobics + stretch The stretch was 13 minutes. I Sorry you are not sleeping well at night and falling asleep during the day. I hope you get a good night sleep. I hope the steroid shot is kicking in soon. It‘s annoying at this point. I hear you on the music. I think a lot of people on YT have to pay a lot of $ for playing music. I don‘t think my Pilates teacher is using any music? I never noticed, lol. I am going to have to check it out. I can sent you the link maybe you want to try it out? I payed $150 for a year, not bad at all, IMO. She does live zoom and workshops and a weekly workout plan which works your entire body. She has some recipes and other stuff you can download. I really enjoy her calm instructions.

Debbie - great job on your cardio workout this morning. I am glad Diane reminded me. Cathe is running another offer for CL. I hope your mom‘s foot appointment went well.

Roxie - Kelly sounds like a caring person. Great job!

Roselyn - nicely done on your upper body/

Good night.

squats 15# dbs 12 reps

My mom is home and had the staples in her head taken out too. She has a constant headache, but I suppose that would be normal with a fractured skull. She also has memory loss and is very tired but seems to be improving a little each day.

Monday- 4 mile walk with the pup
Tuesday- Rest day- Thermography done on the entire upper body, I am curious of the results. They did my head down to my tale bone. I am going to get the results soon. No more Mammograms or Pap Smear for this girl.
Wed-3.7 mile walk with the pup
Today- CL Vertical Loading, I used only body weight for the leg portion because my back is still bothering me.
Friday- walk the pup, follow up Chiro appointment and my 27th wedding anniversary! How am I that old?!

Great job on the workouts everyone. I will be back at it this weekend but then I have to have my dental implant re done on Tuesday, I hope it works this time. They are using a different product and size to see if that works. I am not sure if I should workout or not, I will have to ask him what he thinks about it. Thank God he is doing it free of charge, $7,000 is a lot of money for a tooth!

I need to go back and read all of your posts from this week, I hate being behind on my workouts and my posts with you all. I hope you are all doing well. Sorry I have been MIA, elderly parents are a lot!

This morning I got on my Max Trainer again - starting to love that thing again and did Cardio Coach #3. I can't believe how well these workouts work with this machine. Almost better than running on my treadmill. Had a great workout!!

Also, I know these came on CD's/DVD's - I ripped them and put the mp3 on my phone. Back in the day I used them on my Mp3 player. I've had copies of these workouts on every computer I've owned so I don't lose them. So I have the first 4 on my phone that I can do.

Workout was 40 minutes, burned 315 calories, did 1643 steps and HR was 132/165.

My bus driver banquet is tonight so I don't have any time for personals again. I'll be back to normal tomorrow. I am taking tomorrow off, though.

So have a great weekend everyone!!! Nice job on your workouts!

Hi,

Today was another live zoom dance and Pilates On Demand. The Pilates felt more like a nice stretch.

Good night.

I did not get in workouts the last 3 days. Today I got in 3 miles at the zoo though. We went with my daughter, her boyfriend and our grandson. It was fun. Halloween costumes all over. Hopefully I am back on track next week:) I do some stretching daily though.

Jolie, I am glad your mom is improving. Happy anniversary, 27 years is great. Good job on getting in some workouts with so much going on.

Belinda, nice work on the walk and pilates class.

Debbie, nice that you are enjoying Cardio Coach on your Max Trainer.

Hi,

Today I did a live zoom Pilates mat workout.

Diane - walking at the zoo sounds like fun. Great job on your daily stretches. I try to do them too.

Good night.

This morning I did RAW Strength Day 2 - Chest & Triceps. Had a good workout. I feel like I haven't done a lot of lifting lately so I figured I'd do these this week.

5 sets, each exercise done straight through for 5 sets

Incline Flyes: 17.5's - 10 reps
Chest Press: 25's - 8 reps (this was easy, I probably should have used 30's but was afraid my shoulders would not like it)

Single Arm Kickbacks: 10's - 10 reps (this took forever)
Overhead Single Arm Extensions: 12's - 10 reps (I did Lying Triceps Extensions) - I hate single arm movements

Abs: Lying Oblique Twists for 2 sets/Lower and Upper Crunch for 3 sets

I also got on my treadmill for about 15 minutes. Workout was 48 minutes, burned 341 calories and HR was 126/152.

Diane - The zoo sounds like so much fun!!! Ours here in Cleveland does Zoo Halloween, too. I have never been to it, though.

Belinda - Great job on your workouts this weekend!!

Jolie - Happy 27th anniversary! We will be celebrating our 30 years this April. Doesn't seem possible.

Have a great day everyone!

Today I did CDorner Knee friendly thigh workout with fabric loop band and 10# dumbbell, 28 minutes, 85 calories. I then did Aerobics "90's music", 33 minutes, 232 calories, heart rate 145/187. I started with my Garmin still tight and forgot to move the band to 5 notches on the watch band. It started low and then jumped way up. I looked at the charts and it was mostly around 150. I forgot to check steps. Total time was 61 minutes, 317 calories. I did not have time for some stretching or pilates today. I did do my morning wake up stretches that I do daily unless I have to run out the door early.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Strength Day 2 Chest and Triceps today along with 15 minutes treadmill walk. There was a lot of people at the zoo. Parking was terrible. We did not know it was Halloween at the zoo LOL. I guess my other daughter and granddaughter were at the zoo as well. They went earlier than we did with my great grandson, and grandson.

Belinda, nice work getting in pilates workouts today and yesterday. I have only been on zoom a few times and that was when my grandson was doing virtual school. I had the worst time getting into the classes at times. The instructor I am following is on youtube, but if signed up to ultimate it would be through an app and would have to be cast to the television I think. People can have private consultations with her for lots of $$. 150 for 30 minutes or 350 for an hour I think is what it said. Her background is lots of years of physical therapist work and pilates instructor. https://jessicavalant.com/unlimited is the link to her website. She has blogs, recipes, and I think a podcast. We had some rain today and it is a lot cooler. I pulled out a hoodie because I get cold easy lately. When you use zoom can you see others or do you just see the instructor?

This morning I had an excellent workout on my Max Trainer doing Cardio Coach #1. I am really loving this!! I couldn't remember why I stopped using my MT and then I remembered it was because of the knot in my upper back. That thing used to irritate it. So I think I stopped using it and just never went back to it. I love doing the CC workouts on this thing! My legs were burning. At least this gives me something other than boxing to do.

Workout was 43 minutes, (really only 36, I did a RAW Warmup before I started), burned 309 calories, did 1888 steps and HR was 126/162.

I was looking for the TimeSaver warmup on Kelly's YT channel but can't find it. I figured it would be under the "Other" tab but it wasn't. The warmup I found was under one of the workout categories like Intervals or something. I need to find the TS one because I like it.

Diane - Great job with your CDorner workouts. I haven't done her workouts in a while, I should check them out again. My Garmin has been acting weird, I might need an upgrade. :)

Have a great day eveyone!!

I am back to lifting weights, my back is finally feeling better. I have been walking a lot over the past week and I will post each day's walk down below. This week I decided to do P90X and I did Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. I had a great workout, I love this type off workout, it goes buy quickly and no dread factor. I pulled out my workout sheet and I was surprised that I could use the same weights as the last time I did the workout. Taking time off from weights really does give you strength gains if it is not too long of a rest. Recovery time is so important, I am finally learning...
Friday- 4.2 mile walk
Saturday- 4.5 mile walk
Sunday- 50 minute uphill (9.0 incline) on the Tm and 10 minutes all out on the elliptical. 4 miles total. Wow, I am so amazed that I could do that incline, but with all the hills I walk every day, it was not that had to do!

My mom is doing better except getting her blood pressure stable. She goes to a Kidney specialist next week, I hope they get to the bottom off the issue for her.

Debbie, wow on the Max Trainer workout!!! I could never do that machine for that long of a time, you are a BEAST!!! The great thing about that machine is, you can just do legs if you want so you do not irritate your upper body if need be. Wow, I am so impressed.

Diane Sue, great job on the workout! How are you feeling lately?

Belinda, great job on you Pilates workouts!

Big rainstorm coming in today! We need rain really bad!

Today I did RAW Strength Day 1 - Back and Biceps and I had a good workout. I'm not sure about these workouts, they just aren't that fun and the exercises Kelly uses are all single arm. I hate single arm exercises. So I changed it up a bit. I wonder if she did that to make the workouts a bit longer?

This is not a superset workout, you do the exercises one at a time doing 5 sets of 10 or 8 reps:

Back
One Arm Row:
30# - 5 sets/10 reps
Single Arm Reverse Fly: 12# - 5 sets/10 reps (I did double arm flyes)
Frog Leg Lifts off Bench: (I did Pullovers) 20# - 3 sets/10 reps

Biceps
Seated Alternate Hammer Curls
: 16's - 5 sets/8 reps
Preacher Curls: (I did regular curls) 12's - 5 sets/8 reps

Abs
Hip Lifts:
Skipped

Then I walked on my treadmill for almost .5 miles just to get some movement in. Workout was 46 minutes, burned 226 calories and HR was 103/155.

I don't have time for personals, I have a LOT to do today. So you all have a great workout!!!!
