Hardcore Fitness Maniacs November 2024

Morning,

I did yoga plus PT exercises. I will go for a walk late.

Diane - it‘s probably not enough calories we are eating. I have my Fitness Pal set around 1600 cal. It‘s plenty for me unless I lift super heavy. Which I am not. I had a hard time changing my FP goals the other day. It‘s hidden, lol I hope the shoulder mobility will help my shoulders. I also use the wall for shoulder mobility. I have the same problem, cannot get them all the way overhead. Nice job on CDorner Aerobic Class + Mira spine mobility.

Off to do something around the house. BBl

Good morning. Yesterday's workout was RAW R&R Dec. 2019 and chose the boxing version. Workout was 43 minutes and I used my 1# egg weights. Today I did CL Vertical Loading #2 and I used a bench instead of the ball because I have a slight spasm in my low back and right hip area today. I hope I can get it to go away before it turns into a big time spasm that takes forever to get under control. I will take tomorrow off to give it a break and just do some lite stretching.

Great job with the workouts over the weekend. I moved my gym into the house, it is in the low 40's in the morning and there is no way I am working out in those temps! Make it a great day.

No workout today, not even the back pod work. We had our family Thanksgiving dinner and I am getting ready to go to bed. We had a nice time and played games later. Tomorrow I will pack up leftovers in smaller containers and some will go in the freezer.

Belinda, nice job on getting in the yoga pt exercises. It started raining here today so everyone that was outside checking out the ebikes had to come in.

Jolie, good job on Raw R&R December yesterday and today's CL Vertical Loading #2. It has been cooler here at night.

I saw Jolie did this workout so I decided to do it this morning.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Ripped and Ride December 2019.

Belinda, good job on JS month 2 week 1 Total Body Shred and PT work.

Workout was 54 minutes, burned 249 calories, HR was 106/149.

I skipped two triceps exercises so I could have enough time to do shoulders. Glad I did!!

Roselyn - I did the same workout today. That is a good workout.

Diane - Great job with the Halloween workout. How are you feeling? Any better in your rib area?

Belinda - Great workouts today and yesterday! Sometimes a good stretch is what the doctor ordered!

Have a great day everyone!!

I am glad I took the rest day yesterday, my back spasm is gone, and I feel so much better today. Today's workout was CL #185 Pumped Upper Body, I love this workout, and I did great with the weights. Workout was 55 minutes, and I have no calorie burn because none of my fitness trackers work anymore. I do not miss wearing the watch, I feel like it kind of took over my life and I feel I had more injuries when wearing it; I think I pushed myself too hard to hit calorie goals. I moved my gym into the house and it is bright and light and I am so much more motivated to workout again. I think I may just keep it in the house and go out into the garage when I want to use a peice of cardio equipment or my cable and leg machines.

Debbie, great job with the two workouts, your weights are very impressive. I am lifting lighter weights so I do not injure myself but I will work back up to some heavier weights for Back and Chest work.

Diane Sue, I hope you are feeling good right now and all this pain in the ribs is a thing of the past. Nice job with the workout!

Roselyn, nice job with your workout, that is a good one,

Belinda, I hope you enjoy time with your son. Great job on the workouts and the stretch! I need to take the time to do a nice stretch myself.

Have a great day.

This morning was STS 2.0Lower Body 1 as I continue following the November rotation. I threw in some ab work from Ab Hits & the STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch. Some days I just feel like I need a little extra stretch or mobility work. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Welcome DeannaTS! Great job with STS2 Lower Body. Have fun with the November rotation. I do need a little extra stretch/mobility. Nicely done.

I am back from my pre op appointment. I had a lot of eye testing and images from both eyes. My surgery is scheduled for December 11. If all goes well I will have the 2nd eye done beginning January.

Jolie - thank you. I am having a lot of fun with my son. Great job on your workout. Glad you feeling better.

Debbie - great job on STS UB1. I feel so much better after my stretching.

Diane -I hope you had a great workout today.

Roselyn - great job on STS legs today.

Today I just did CDorner yoga mobility and flexibility and her mobility challenge neck and shoulders, 49 minutes, 60 calories. I have been hurting again since all of the work I did preparing for Thanksgiving family day. So, a break today.

Belinda, nice work on the stretch this morning before the eye appointment. I am sure you will be glad when the procedure is done.

Debbie, great job on STS 2 Upper Body #1 today. and increasing some of the exercises today. I think it is going to take a while to get rid of the costochondritis. From reading, it takes a lot of work to get rid of the pain. It feels much better after I use the back pod and stretching. I think some issues is the Rheumatoid arthritis as well, hands hurt from peeling eggs and potatoes. My right hip is hurting today, or I would have done a lower body workout. I quit the meloxicam for a few days and decided to take it again, so took it this morning. Taking it at night messed with my sleep.

Jolie, those rest days can sure help. Nice work today on CL 185 Pumped Upper Body. I think I will be lifting lighter weights for a while. I would like to make adjustments on my gym space, but what a lot of work!!

Deanna TS, great job on STS 2 Lower Body, STS 2 abs, and STS 2 Total Body Stretch. I try to get stretching and mobility in most days. Welcome to the group.

Roselyn, nice work on STS Legs today.

I've been following this cook on Youtube, his name is Wil Yeung and his channel is Yeung Man Cooking. He is Cantinese (sp?) and his creations are incredible. I bought two of this cookbooks and want to get the other two for Christmas. I made his Chili Oil Sunday because he uses it for a lot of his recipes and then I tried his Chili Spaghetti. OMG, it is to die for. I love this type of food and I will enjoy making his recipes. Cooking makes me happy, I love it! We are remodeling my kitchen this winter and I can't wait! I will have so much more room to have fun with my favorite pasttime (other than working out).

This morning I did RAW Kickboxing #5 and had a great workout. I like this one a lot. I used my 1.5# Egg Weights. Even though Kelly says it's almost too fast for Egg Weights, it really isn't. I didn't have any problems using them.

Workout was 39 minutes, burned 322 calories, did 3975 steps and HR was 140/181.

Jolie - Nice job with your workout! That's a good idea to keep your workout equipment in your house, glad you are able to do that. Thanks about the weights I'm using, I'm being very careful but I am finding that the weights I'm using now are starting to feel light. I give STS 2 the credit for that. Love that series!

Deanna - Welcome to the group! I am loving the STS 2, I did one of the rotations when I first got the workouts, but now I just add in a couple for the workouts each week. I love how strong they are making me. Great job with your workout!

Roselyn - Great job with STS Legs!! I'm doing Lower Body 1 tomorrow.

Belinda - Glad you are enjoying your time with you son. That is great that he came to visit!

Diane - Sorry to hear you are in pain again. I'm telling you, standing and cooking is a killer on the body. I cook for myself on Sunday's, I prep my foods for the week so I don't waste time in the evenings getting food ready for my work week. It is a KILLER! My back and legs are always very sore when I'm finished and more times than not I have to use my back massager to workout the kinks. I even have a rubber mat I can stand on but it doesn't really help at all. Hopefully you are better today.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hi,

JS TB Stamina = 40 min and PT exercises for my knees. I try to get a walk in later.

Diane - great job with CDorner yoga mobility and flexibility and her mobility challenge neck and shoulders yesterday. Yes, I am glad when it‘s done. Now we have to figure out when to pick up the RV?

Debbie - I follow Wil Yeung on YT, never made any of this recipes. I am glad you like it, now I will try it. Great job on your KB workout today.

Deanna - you are welcome!

Have a great workout and day everyone.

Google Afternoon,

Cold and windy today so I walked on my treadmill for 2.51 miles. I have beer a little out of sink to many doctors appointments. We went to the eye doctor last Wednesday and I found out I have a condition that is causing me to lose sight in my right eye can’t remember what it’s called never heard of it before so now I have to wear contacts instead of glasses. DH has a cataract in one of his eyes. Hoping to get back at it the rest of this week.

Deanna-Welcome to the group. I want to try STS 2.0 but I didn’t purchase it haven’t done her workouts in a while.

Today I did CDorner Step #413 no breakdown, 26 minutes, 120 calories, heart rate 120/141. I did Raw Glute Finisher with a medium fabric loop, 17 minutes 63 calories. I started the bridge work, but stopped because I could feel it in my chest and ribbed. I finished with CDorner 30 minute Full Body Stretch with strap for part of it, 33 calories. This one holds stretches for 1 minute and has a timer. No timer on the warm up moves. Total time 73 minutes, 196 calories. I also did the back pod work. Feeling better today.

Debbie, nice job on Raw kickboxing #5 today. I will have to check that cook out. I bought a Paleo Quick Prep cookbook hoping it would encourage me to cook up some things and get me eating more. I am disappointed. It had all good reviews. They put prep time and work times on it. It takes me longer as I do not purchase pre- chopped veggies. I have tried several of the recipes. I liked one a lot. They also have way too much sodium in them, use sausage in quite a few. I hate having to put the ingredients into MFP to figure out the macros and nutrients. Particularly if I know I am not going to make the recipe again. I am usually a little sore after those big family meal times, but this was worse as my fingers kept locking out and I was trying to peel potatoes with my middle finger sticking straight out. Glad no one was here thinking I was giving them the finger or something. My hands ached all night along with ribs and neck. I used to meal prep. Lately if I make a recipe I know I like I freeze dishes for later.

Belinda, nice work on Jessica Smith Total Body Stamina today and PT exercises. I hope you enjoyed your walk. I hope weather is good for you when you pick up your RV.

Roxie, I am sorry you have an eye problem to deal with. Good job getting in a treadmill walk today. It was cooler here this morning. I put on a jacket when I got up because I have not turned on the furnace so far.
