No workout today. I was just getting started and my daughter called. They had just came back from a holiday vacation at the gulf. By the time I was done my husband was up and I needed to make him dinner before work. So, another try tomorrow. Harvey has been so sweet today other than biting off a piece of my big workout mat while I was on the phone. He knows the word no. He is an 8 month pup and in his second round of teething which could last till after a year. It just brings back memories of training Gertie who was stubborn at the start and chewed up all of her toys and bedding. I got a lot for Harvey. No housebreaking needed. He still has not figured out going through the doggie door on his own.
He is not a dog that barks much. I have only heard him give two barks since he has been here, even when the neighbor dogs are out barking.
Debbie, good job on Pure Strength Back Biceps and Abs. She does go through those pretty fast. I think Harvey will be fine. We just cannot leave him roaming the house at night or when we are gone. We put him in the crate last night. He did not like it. Can't coax him with treats, he knows what you are doing and will refuse the treats. He will eventually realize we do give treats just to give them too.
Roxie, good job on Tuesday's walk, Wednesday's Raw Yoga, Thursday's walk and TBTS Push Day, and today's Raw Shadow Boxing. Looks like a productive week.
Roselyn, nice work on the sprint interval with Michelle Briehler.
Belinda, great job catching up with dance zoom class, STS 2 Lower Body 2 + STS 2 Total Body Stretch. Havey is still a pup. They said he is around 8 months. I remember when Gertie went through all of the teething. Harvey has just hung close to me all day. I am not looking forward to getting him in the crate tonight by myself. When he starts to chew something, he does stop when I tell him no. I sure would not leave him alone for now. I have been through it with Gertie and my other dog I had named Mudd. We used to have Mudd a mix with lab in her along with Gertie. Mudd died from a tick born disease when she was 8. She was my companion all of the years my husband was out of country.
