Debbie, nice work on the treadmill walks today. Harvey is a bit of a handful. Pups usually are. It reminds me of Gerties antics and chewing up all of the bedding I got her. I finally gave her old towels and put them in her crate until she was done with the chewing. Harvey chewed bits out of his blanket and doggy mat already and a corner off of Gerties big my pillow bed. I keep going outside with her to try to get her to expend some energy. Fortunately I can go out and throw a ball for her even at midnight before bed since she does not bark. That is one issue we do not have.
I saw a sleep member bed store not far from us and thought of you when I saw it. I am glad it is helping you a lot. It is hard to think of someone who is coaching fitness and helping others committing suicide.

Belinda, nice work on STS 2 Body Parts Biceps today. I decided to do some STS 2 workouts that aren't so fast paced and they have so many options. Not sure about chest though. Doing the barbell lying extensions put pressure on my chest and ribs holding the barbell up. I went lighter than I usually go.
I am glad that you got an appointment set up right away.

Debbie - aww….thank you. You inspire me too. I have no idea why I have so many issues. I thought these year would a better one. Great job on your workout.

Diane - great job on STS 2 Body Parts Triceps. I do like the slower pace in STS 2. I sometimes use DB‘s with chest workouts and go lighter. Especially with my shoulder/biceps problem I am having. No same going lighter. I called right away to make that appointment.

Roselyn - great job today.

Cathe‘s pre sale price for LMR 2 is going up in 2 day‘s, I believe? I put my preorder in.

Today I did CDorner Cardio Fast Step #457, 61 minutes, 344 calories, heart rate 126/152, 5,735 steps. I finished with Raw Stretch Flow 20 minutes, 49 calories. I got 10,382 steps in today! Total time 81 minutes, 393 calories. We just had a hailstorm hit. I was worried Harvey would be scared, but with all of the pounding he did not react other to come and check me out.

Belinda, good job on STS 2 Body Parts Chest today. I switch to dumbbells sometimes too. Sometimes it feels better on my wrists with the dumbbells. I don't mind going lighter anymore. It is not worth hurting myself.
 
Friday's workout was a 2.8 mile walk in the am and a 2.2 mile walk in the pm.

Saturday was a rest day, I met my parents for breakfast.

Today's workout was an oldie but a goodie, CL #25 Strong Upper Body and Core and I had an excellent workout. This is a Giant Set type workout, 3 rounds x 12 reps with no rest between sets. I did really well with the weights and I am proud of myself today. I will get in a dog walk this afternoon, probably around a mile or so.

Diane Sue, my pup barks 24/7 and I could kill him at times. He does wear a bark collar but does not care if he gets shocked, he is a terrier and it is in his blood to yap.

Great job on the workouts everyone! Walk for me tomorrow and Tuesday will have to be a rest day, early dentist appointment to start on my last tooth!!!! It is just a crown so it should be easy I hope.

This morning I did STS 2.0 Body Parts Chest. I had a great workout, already feeling it!! Added 1# or 2 to some of the exercises. This is a fun workout.

1 minute rest between each set.

Flat Bench Press #1: 25's - 10 reps
Flat Bench Press #2: 26's - 10 reps
Flat Bench Press #3: 26's - 8 reps
Flat Chest Fly #1: 22.5's - 10 reps
Flat Chest Fly #2: 22.5's - 10 reps
Flat Chest Fly Pinkie In: 21's - 10 reps
Incline Bench Press: 26's - 10 reps
Incline Close Grip Press: 25's - 10 reps (I got 8 reps)
Incline Unilateral Chest Press: 21's - 6 reps alternating
Incline Bench Press/Close Grip Combo: 21's - 6 reps (tough!)
Incline Pause Chest Fly #1: 21's - 8 reps
Incline Pause Chest Fly #2: 21's - 6 reps
Incline Unilateral Fly: 21's - 6 reps alternating
Banded Low/High Chest Fly: 15# Band - 12 reps
Banded Mid Chest Fly: 30# Band - 12 reps
Pause Push ups: 10 reps (on knees)

Then I did STS 2 Standing Metabolic Core workout and used 5# and 10# plates. Love this ab workout. Total workout was 51 minutes, burned 209 calories, HR 96/142.

I sure did eat a lot this weekend. Damn. I am watching every bit this week. I have been doing really good with counting calories, etc. but this weekend we celebrated my birthday so all bets were off. I feel so bloated today, but I guess that's what I get. It was a fun weekend!

Jolie, good job on the Friday's walks and today's CL Strong Upper Body and Core.
My dog Gertie did well with the training collar. Usually just a beep tone and she would stop.
Later she just barked once and ran in the house because I always make her go in the house as soon as she barked.
I am lucky Harvey just doesn't bark. I heard him bark one bark since we have had him. People and other dogs do not seem to bother him. My husband took him out for a training walk today. She is hard to get to heal. Once she walks with the leash, I will take her out as well. I ordered a short traffic leash which should help with keeping him close, so he doesn't walk around us.

Debbie, good job on STS 2 Body Parts Chest today. Good for you increasing some of the weights. Birthdays are meant to be enjoyed. My granddaughter makes the birthday cakes and sometimes comes with more than one. I enjoy trying out a variety of new cake flavors plus I don't have to do it :p
