Hi all! Been a busy day at work!

Teddy...Sounds like your $10 investment for Tae Bo was a good one!

Shanna...Congrats on the new car...how exciting! I thought about getting a new one. I have had my Escalade for 7 years now, its still in great condition and I love it...but I love NOT having a car payment more! :D

Patti...Is the Taco Soup recipe a Paula Deen? We make a taco soup that is identical and it is sooooooo good!

Diane Sue...I think I will be getting Muscle Chow. Recipes sound good! Funny you said they were easy to make becuase it was designed for men! :p:D

Meals for today... (today is my high carb day)
M1: 1/2 cup oatmeal w/prt.pwdr, falxseed and bluberries, 1/2 wg bagel
M2: protein drink, banana, almonds
M3: 1/2 turkey sandwhich w/red.fat cheese, tomato and lettuce, w/g sunchips, grapes
M4: Adtkins Advantage bar
M5: Fish and veggies or salad
We are going to dinner tonight at my fave Greek restaraunt and they have the best hummus! Today is my cheat item day so I will also be enjoying a glass of wine!....or 2 :p

Back to the workout routine tomorrow!

Sonya, I wasn't kidding. In his introduction on the Men's Health Muscle Chow Cookbook the guy says "It's food for dudes". LOL There are a lot of comments and one was that even his son who loved the Quinoa salad recipe could make it. He also give instructions on using a steamer and roasting a turkey. LOL

Patti, I was thinking that ground turkey would be good in that recipe. I have used soy crumbles too. Although they raise the sodium. They are pretty tasty.

Hello, all.
I always love to find new, yummy, and easy recipes, so I think I'll give that taco soup a try! It sounds like the kind of thing bf would like. Do you serve anything to accompany it?

I slept sooooo late today. I need to get my workout in earlier, but nonetheless, it will be after work.

So what do you all think I should do about this...early this month I got the two upper body gym styles from someone on the yaya swap. I paid with a credit card through paypal. When I emailed the lady, I gave her my address, however, I haven't updated my paypal thing yet so it's still showing my old address. I haven't gotten the dvds yet, even though she said forever ago she would get them in the mail. I assume she used the paypal address and not the correct address which I emailed her, so I emailed her to see if this were the case. I've emailed her twice with no reply from her. It looks like paypal has a way you can apply to get your money back for something you did not receive; do you think I should do this, or just forget about it since I had the wrong address on my paypal account?

All these lovely recipes! How wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

Just finished my leg workout. Was suppose to be from PS Legs, but when I noticed all the lunges, I decided to go on my own as front and static lunges can mess my knees up if I am not careful so here is what I did:

First, did Ab Ripper X (really think this is the last time I will do this for a long time as I feel nothing. It is waaayyy too easy anymore as my body is still use to it)

LEGS:

ATG Squats 105# 3/8
Plie Squats 105# 3/8
Leg Ext 90# 3/8
Deads 130# 3/8
Hamstring Curls 35# plate 3/8 (don't know why these are soooo hard, but with this weight it wasn't :p)
Front Lunges 25's and only 8 reps for each leg (figured I could get away with just alittle bit)

Decided to do P90X Plyo X so I will get in the Mary Katherines which are like lunges of some sort, but I like these because you are in constant motion..at least the way I do them as you can do them in a still fashion or keep moving. I like to move it. hehe

Hermia, I would keep trying to get a response from her first. After all you did e mail her your current address. Then do the Pay Pal thing. Let them deal with it. I just joined Pay Pal recently as dh says I should use it. Not sure of all of the rules. I would hate to see you let it go. Have you received anything back to your e mail to know that she knows your e mail address? Maybe she insured it. I haven't been on yayas forever. Do they have anything that could help? I suppose you have tried all of this though. That is really to bad if you don't get them.

Suz- I wish we had a picture of that pullup. Here is another way that looks good and here is the website (great website) with more info. http://www.stumptuous.com/cms/displayarticle.php?aid=51

Course, she can do real ones with weights and all that.:)

Dallys - That's a chin up silly! :p But thanks for the pics and the website too. With the pullup the way I did it was put my feet underneath me with my knees bent behind me and my toes and insteps barely touching the floor. Was I reading this right?

Although this method might be good after I get done with my unassisted chins so that I'm not jumping. Tee hee.

Suz, I think that Amy does pullups/chin ups whatever you call them like that with feet out and bar over a huge pile of risers. I have a real hard time with the dvds figuring out what is a chin up and what is a pullup. Especially when they try to help people get the pull ups with a pulldown substitution And what is with the switch grip thing on some workouts? I think both are great muscle building exercises. But I can see it being confusing. My chin hardly wants to get over that bar LOL. Great demo though:D I want to be able to do them with the chains and weight LOL

I came here to post dinner and snack and totally forgot LOL Was going to edit but Dallys aready posted:) Dinner was Muscle Chow recipes: Oven baked turkey meatballs and rosemary-rubbed sweet potatoes. Was yummy. I have made the meatballs before. You add some tomato sauce. I just used some of my tomatoes that I canned over them. I also had 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/4 cup of raisins for a snack.
