Good afternoon,

I did Fuel FB today. No workout yesterday, I couldn't do anything. I was awake since Thursday morning, had zero sleep.
I am on the phone with my family in Germany. Thanks for all the prayers!

I will be back later to catch up on personals and update.

Belinda - hang in there - my heart goes out to your family.

This morning was a IFIT full body workout with John Peel. He still talks to much but this was actually a good workout - if felt like I was working hard. I was surprised because I didn't think I was sore from my rowing workout yesterday but I started the warmup this morning and I was instantly feeling the soreness!

This morning I did Tracy Steen Shaky Total Body Strength. One of my faves of hers that I tackle every once in awhile.

Kelly has her Raw Chest workout up. I wrote down the moves this morning and she does them each for 10 reps. I don't have them here or I would post it. I will maybe do it next week.

Belinda praying for you I am so sorry for you and your family. Get some rest!

Cam, nice work on Tracy Steen Shaky Total Body Strength.

Doreen, nice work with the iFit full body workout. Now you know the rowing did something. It is always amazing how we feel it when we do something different.

Yesterday was a rest day and it felt good. Today I went for it and did 2 Les Mills Combat workouts, #80 and #82 using 1# gloves and boy was it a sweat fest! I probably over did it with my shoulder, but I am very sick of this issue and decided just to go for it. Each workout was 30 minutes of punches, kicks and I did low impact squats instead of any jumping. I feel like I got in a total body workout today which I needed from so much rest this week. Total workout time was 1 hour, the last workout had a great stretch and the first workout added abs at the end. I probably won't be able to lift my arms tomorrow :) Total calorie burn was 560, I used my Fitbit because I forgot to charge my other watch. I think I like Fitbit better because the icons and numbers are larger, and I can see it without using my reading glasses. Yesterday I broke a crown on my tooth and broke it right in half while eating. Great, this should cost a fortune to repair this week. Boy, this is the story of my life!!!

Belinda, you and your entire family are in my prayers!

Great workouts yesterday everyone! I am not sure what I am doing tomorrow, I will try to get into the dentist if possible. I am thinking of putting my own weight workout together going forward, a total body workout and alternating with either kickboxing, walking, rowing or the elliptical.

Today is another rest day. I pretty much always take Sundays off to spend time with my husband. We generally watch movies and go out to eat or have something delivered. My shoulders are feeling yesterday's workout. I forgot to mention that I did do some band pulls for the scapular area, rolling, and door stretches. on top of the other work. I just did not track that part.

Jolie, Two Les Mills Combat workouts! I bet you feel it. I hope your shoulder stays okay. I love kickboxing workouts, but I sure cannot do them too often. I hear you on having to get out the readers to read your stats on the watch. I messed with different clock faces and colors on my Garmin, so I have an easy-to-read screen with the stats I want to see, like steps, time and I like to see my heart rate. I am monitoring my hr because it has been off a bit, and I have been having off and on dizzy spells with nausea. It is kind of weird. Being awake and sitting at the computer it is registering at 59. Usually, it will get up in the low 60's. Blood pressure is normal in the green zone. I am thinking maybe my latest addition of Solaray zinc copper with Kelp iodine is the culprit. Didn't take it last night and I have not had the dizzy so far today. Weird! Usually I buy Bulletproof zinc/copper. Do you know anything about using iodine kelp supplements?

Today I did Michelle PiYo Express and plan to walk later. Beautiful weekend here. The weather is spectacular. Gotta enjoy it while I can.

Have a good Sunday!

Thanks for all the prayers. Sorry for not checking in. I haven't slept in 2 day's. I am on the phone with my family in Germany. My nephew isn't doing so well. He found her lying in her bed. He is completely in shock. My sister and BIL are getting an autopsy, they have to know why she passed so young. My BIL thinks it can take up a few weeks to get the results. I was very close to my niece. Her and I talked hours on the phone. My niece made plans to visit me next year. I am trying and figuring out when DH, DD and I fly for the funeral. My nephew is planning to came and visit me after the funeral. He need a break. I check on him around the clock. I am very happy he is open up to me.

No workout this morning - I was just too tired to get going so I took a rest day. Yesterday I did a 10 mile or so bike ride through Garden of the Gods.

I had a great weekend with my cousins, we had a lot of fun. I suffered with a bad stomach ache on Saturday night, though. That's what I get for eating all that junk food. So glad to be on my normal foods now. We did have a blast, though. My upper back is MUCH better, I still feel a little tweek but nothing like it was on Thursday and Friday. The rest did me good plus I kept an icy hot patch on it all weekend and took Aleve. The knot is almost gone. I did a low impact workout today, I'm worried about lifting or kickboxing and probably won't do either this week.

This morning I did CDorner's 30 minute Low Impact Cardio Walking Workout, I wish she still numbered her workouts, I wonder why she doesn't anymore. She has really stepped up the video footage, it looks like Kevin is always with her now. I wonder if that's his job? I wish I would have started a Youtube channel, seems these people are quite well off doing that. This workout was really fun with great music, I totally loved it.

Workout was 34 minutes, burned 315 calories which surprised me, did 3817 steps and HR was 143/170.

I also did her Mobility workout where she is on a beach. Wow, what a beautiful place, I didn't think she lived near water, I always thought she was more in farmland somewhere. Good short stretch workout, I liked it.

Belinda - I am so sorry about your niece omg. It could take up to 4 months for an autopsy report, at least here in my area it does. I sure hope you can find out what happened to her. How truly sad, especially because she was so young. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Great workouts everyone!! Have a great day!!!

I thought I would be so sore today after two kickboxing workouts, but I feel really good. My shoulder has almost zero pain and the lump on my chest where the fascia starts is almost gone today. Funny how something I thought would irritate it a lot did the opposite. However, the pain in my left side of my neck is now moving to the right side! Today is a rest day because I do not want to irritate the shoulder with weights and I am going to the dentist to see if we can save my tooth, otherwise another implant is in my future. What a bummer, the last one cost over $5,000! My insurance does not cover implants!!! I feel like I can never catch a break!

Diane Sue, I use iodine supplements, but I cycle them, I do not take them all of the time. I would back off every supplement for a week and see how you feel. I do this about every 6 months, I feel better when I do and then get back on them again. Give your body a break for 7 days and see what happens.

Debbie, I may not be lifting weights this week either, I am feeling better too and do not want to start this all over again if possible. I may do one total body workout later in the week, but I like the fact that this lump is settling down and I am in less pain to sleep.

Belinda, hang in there! Nice job getting a workout in to relieve stress, walking will do wonders for relaxing as well. Now, how do we get the brain to settle down is the question! Prayers for you and your family.

Great job on the workouts yesterday.

Have a nice day.

I just did Raw Step and Pump, 46 minutes, heart rate 112/153, 177 calories. I also did the warm up, 1 round abs, and the stretch from CDorner Arms, Abs, and stretch 3 says ago, 26 minutes, 37 calories. Too hard on neck doing abs and my hip flexor really hurt. Total time 72 minutes, 214 calories, 1,879 steps.

Debbie nice work. I really like her walking workout. I need to stick that in my watch folder.
I got the impression from background outdoor workouts and comments that Kevin has his own business back in that shop in back. Multiple white suv's were out there. I could be wrong though. I think she fimed the beach workout on vacation at San Francisco. She mentioned filming there.

I am on my phone so will come back and read and post my workout and weights.

I went lighter because my arms and shoulders are still sore form the strength work last week. I contemplated doing the Raw chest workout, but am afraid to do too much chest work till I get this rib pain thing under control. I see my arthritis doctor the end of the month. I may mention it to him. The symptoms go along with costochondritis which I think may have been started with my surgery. Anyway I read that people should be aware of this when working with heavy weights. Also suggested not doing things that involve the chest till it is completely gone.

Cam nice work on Michelle Piyo. Hope you had a nice walk.

Belinda, that is so sad about your niece, and I know you all have to be in shock. I am sure you are under a lot of stress. That is good that your nephew can talk to you.

Doreen, Garden of the Gods would be a beautiful ride. Nice work.

Debbie, I am glad your knot is better, and you had a good time this weekend. Hopefully that know will go away completely. It is strange how we are just fine, and something hits us like that even though we are careful. I had to laugh at Chris on the workout this morning because before she started, she had Kevin put his head in front of the camera saying she put cornrows in his hair. Then I guess her in-laws said she used to be her favorite daughter in law. I hope there is only one!

Jolie, I am glad the shoulder and chest knot were not affected by the two kickboxing workouts. Medical costs are terrible and with some of the deductibles it does not help a lot. I hope that you don't have to go that far with the dental work. I see mine in a couple of weeks.
I do let those things run out and give myself a break. That way they work and I do not get too much or too reliant on them. I have been tapering off the bone restore supplement from life Extension which I have been taking for a year now. Dr said to take calcium, but I am still worried about calcium and arteries. I am having Kefir at night in a shake to help with Calcium. Just need to get the K2. I just ordered a Quercetin and Bromelain supplement as I have not used it for Quercetin in a long time. I am hoping it helps with the allergies and my gout. I quit taking the EmergenC packs for about 6 weeks and oddly my big toe, forefoot joints and thumb are hurting. I do get some C and bioflavinoids from a skin and a stress supplement though. Not as much as a single supplement though. I researched Quercetin as I have tried the one that is letters, cannot think what it is called and a Now version which is really a lower dose than recommended. They never helped much. At least not that I noticed. The one I purchased cost me quite a bit for only 1 month.

For anyone interested I just printed out the Raw Chest workout format. Not sure when I will do it. My shoulders are sore and I hauled buckets of water outside from the aquarium and then went out side and decorative stones that were around our trees that died to put in a stack on the patio. I feel it tonight.

This morning I did three different workouts but clocked it altogether with my Garmin as one workout. First I started off with CDorner's 20 Minute Low Impact Cardio w/70's Music which was fun but the music could have been better. So many great 70's songs and she picks ones I never heard before. LOL!! Well, Dancing Queen I know and love, but the others weren't recognizable to me. Fun workout, though. Then I did RAW Glute Finisher but stopped a bit early with the floor work part of it so I could do some abs so then I did RAW Ab Finisher. Did some of the standing part and some of the laying part. Abs were toast.

Total workout time was 54 minutes, burned 435 calories, did 3682 steps and HR was 136/172.

Feeling really good today. Yay!!!

Jolie - That sort of pain in the neck, shoulders and upper back does seem to move from side to side. I've had that happen as well, it's weird. Hope your dentist appointment went well. I had an implant and luckily my insurance paid for some of it, but I still had to pay about $4,000 for it. Crazy that they are so expensive. I should get one more done but just don't want to spend that kind of money. I have a pop cap on the one that should be done and it works fine. No one knows I have a tooth missing.

Diane - I think you're right about Kevin's business, I remember that too. I saw Kelly has the chest workout up, thanks for posting the exercises in it! Looks good! I think I'll do those next week, hopefully by then they will all be up. I think what Chris' inlaws meant was she was favorite from maybe Kevin's brothers who are married as well. My father-in-law used to always say I was his favorite daughter in law because of my husband's two brothers who had wack jobs for wives. LOL on the cornrows, did he really have them?

Roselyn - Good job on your Iron workout!

Doreen - Hope you are fully rested today!

Belinda - Hope your PT appointment went well.

Have a great day everyone!

This morning I started the IFIT October Fall Fit challenge - I did a 30 minute strength workout - I felt bad for the trainer - He was in front of a beautiful waterfall in Iceland but it was pouring rain!! He was saying he was getting soaked. That's committment to a filming schedule. Then I did a 15 mintue rowing workout and took the dog for a short walk.

Yesterday I got my tooth fixed, thank goodness it did not need to be pulled or have a root canal, but it may need one down the line but not right now. I was there for 5 hours, and I had the tooth made there and put in, I am really happy to have that behind me. It cost $1700 because my insurance would not cover it, it had not been long enough between crowns, what a rip off!!! Anyway, today's workout was just a TM walk uphill, 45 minutes, traveled 2.5 miles and burned 472 calories. I feel much better not lifting weights for the past 1.5 weeks and I have already gone down an entire pants size since stopping the weights. It is amazing how much water weight my body holds onto when I am lifting, maybe it is just not in my cards in my later years. I want to look for workouts that use lite weights high reps and no compound exercises. I might have to try more step workouts as well, I love those if there are no fancy dance steps. I also have limited space, I might try the Les Mills step workouts. There are so many types of workouts when you subscribe to their on demand workouts.

Debbie, great job on the workout and calorie burn. I will try this workout this week, I love 70's music and I like the calorie burn you got too!

Diane Sue, Calcium is not bad for your arteries. If you take grape seed extract with vitamin C and of course Bet Sitosterol you will have no issues. I like Jarrow Bone Up the best, it has everything you need. There are good Calcium's and bad ones, the bad ones are Caulk Board Caulk that is where the problem is with Calcium. Anything from Jarrow or Life Extension you are getting the best ingredients. I also like Doctors Best products.

Roselyn, doing great with your workouts!

Doreen, I can't imagine working out in the rain lol!!! Nice job with the workout.

Belinda, I hope you are doing well today. Hugs!

Make it a great day.

Today I did CDorner Hip Hop Tabata, 39 minutes, heart rate 139/159, 206 calories, 3,061 steps. I folloed this with CDorner Stretch and Flow from 2 months, 36 minutes, 58 calories, 78/104 heart rate.
75 minutes, 264 calories. Hip Hop Tabata was not too bad and she gave alternative moves. There was only one round that had mountain climber on the floor and I just did the standing option. All rounds were 20/10 and 2 exercises done 4 times before moving to the next round. The last round was a fett off the floor Russian twist and forearm plank step out knee drop so I got in some abs. She had problems with audio at first.

Debbie, nice work today. I remember being disappointed in that workout as I was expecting a lot better with 70's music. I prefer the standing part of the abs finisher, but that is because it really hurts my neck and I have to concentrate on barely lifting my shoulders off the floor. It is an excellent a workout and I have done it a lot. Yes, he had cornrows on his head! It was funny. That is funny that your father-in-law said the same thing because of your brother's wives. It seems Chris, in-laws like her a lot as she talks to them when she is streaming the workouts. Also, sometimes her father-in-law is there at her house.

Doreen, nice work with the iFit workout. Amazing that he kept up the workout even though it was raining.

Jolie, I am glad that your tooth was able to be fixed. I have learned over time to be careful of hard chewy things and giant hard pretzels. I have broke a couple of crowns in the past. It has been a long time ago and not near that much. I have bought a lot of Life Extension, Pure Encapsulations, and occasionally Dr's Best. I stopped buying Jarrow at one time as I tried to verify not made in China. Although seriously almost all resource from China or I saw a couple that sourced Scotland. The Life Extension Bone restore has K2 and other ingredients to help with the calcium. I am on my fourth Bottle as I have kept up with them since surgery. I guess they work as I seem to be healing well. I do spread out the tablets through the day so I don't overload the calcium in one big dose. Have you ever tried Liver tablets? Just curious as I was looking at Vital Proteins and on from Chris Kressor's new formulas. One of my ladies group mentioned chopping liver into tiny bits and freezing it and eating bits of it raw. I am not so sure about that for me. Taste would be tough and it would have to be grass finished.
