This morning I did Turbo Fire Stretch 40 and some TRX mobility and stretching. I made the Mongolian Beef over Cauliflower Rice from The Pale Kitchen Finding Primal Joy in Modern Cooking. It is really good. I did cut down a bit on the 1/4 cup of honey though. I am really wanting to get the Performance Paleo Book.

This morning I did Ripped With Hiit Hit it Lift it Legs and abs 1 adding the stretch, 52 minutes, 302 calories. I then did Ab Circuits Med ball abs, 10 minutes, 35 calories. I finished off with Les Mills Combat Stretch and Strength, 18 minutes, 45 calories. Total time was 80 minutes and calories burned 382.

Today I did Body Beast - Bulk: Chest. Loved it, especially how short it was! But very intense. Only complaint I have is they went way too fast with some of they very heavy sets. I went at my own pace and had to pause the video for a few. No big deal. That was was a great workout, though. I then got on my treadmill for 2 miles.

Diane Sue - 42 years!!! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!!! How was Insurgent? We almost went to see it this weekend but didn't have time. Hopefully next weekend.

Today I did Run Fit with Candace and I had an excellent workout. My DH got me the Fitbit Surge for my birthday and it does so much more than my Flex, I love it. Funny thing, though, the HR numbers were very accurate with my old HR Monitor. I was getting really frustrated when my HR reads so low but I'm just assuming that is how my HR is. I did get it up to 160 bpm when I did the last challenge - I accidentally pressed 6 mph instead of 5 mph for the 2 minute run and I did it for 1 minute and was about dying. LOL!!!! I finished off the minute running at 5 mph. My HR skyrocketed.

I also did Yoga Stretch which felt great and I really should be doing that more often.

Workout was 52 minutes, 329 calories burned and I ran 3.3 miles.

Today I did Low Impact Series Cardio Super Sets with the bonus step, 63 minutes, 422 calories. I then did P90X3 yoga and added 6 minutes of TRX essential flexibility moves for neck, shoulders, and back, 36 minutes, 81 calories. Total time was 99 minutes, calories burned 503.

Debbie, I understand the frustration. I keep changing heart rate straps, transmitters, and watches. One day it will seem okay and anther it won't. I am sure I do not burn the calories that Cathe has in the workout manager. Even with my best set up I was usually a little under. But anymore I am generally way less. Also I noticed with some monitor set ups I get a closer calorie burn with a lower intensity workout than the harder ones. I put my all into the workouts and even try to add extra intensity so I am sure I am working hard enough. I think it is just the fitness level we are at. Today I kept an eye on the heart rate and it seemed to stay in the 140-158 range but when I finished it showed a high of 225. Now I know that was impossible. It must have been a quick error. When I started yoga it said my heart rate was 0. I just changed transmitters because the other one that I had changed the battery in kept losing my heart rate. Maybe I need to change the strap again. This was my best fitting strap though. I had ordered it in a small because most are too big.

Today I did cardio did RWH Plyo 1 and then crossfire tabata, finished with some ab work.

I keep wanting to get a HR monitor, I had one, and the numbers drove crazy, same reason i don't weigh myself alot, I tend to want "perfect" readings, and well we all know how that can be:) Maybe i should get a fitbit.
