Cathlete
Today I managed to get in Kelly Coffey30 minutes to fitness Lean Body Circuits workout #1 , 29 minutes, 166 calories. I used 20's for a lot of this and a couple of moves that involved upper body I dropped to 15's. I liked this one too. She does add a few different moves to this dvd. I followed with Jullian Michaels Yoga Inferno workout #1, 32 minutes, 152 calories. I wish I liked her better, but this is a pretty good workout. My wrists were a little achy from all of the plank type stuff and side balance at the end. I have not done that workout much. Originally I purchased it thinking it would be good when I was rehabilitating from the knee surgery but it didn't work for that.

Debbie, this will maybe be a sort of break week for me. It was supposed to be yoga days next week and STS Total Body this week with LIS workouts. I don't know how much I will do yet. I felt I needed a lot because eating was not wonderful this weekend. With Grandchildren here we have had too much junk in the house. Pretzels and ice cream and chocolate  It takes a lot of will power. I haven't eaten a lot of it but tend to grab a couple of bites when getting it out for the rest. I took them to McDonalds and felt good because I came home and made a salad for myself. My fluff tends to go on my upper thighs.
Nice job on the cardio :)

No workout for me today. I think I will get up and do another Cardio Coach tomorrow, though. Then I'll take the rest of the week off and start with STS (maybe) on Monday.

Roselyn - Did you finish Body Beast???

Today the baby got up early so I did Ripped With Hiit abs 1 with my granddaughter 7 and yoga Max express 2. 44 minutes. The baby has things strung all over the workout room so I guess I will get a bit more exercise in cleaning up [emoji4]
Debbie enjoy your rest day.

Roselyn, did you see Cathe ' s news letter on abs? It was pretty informative.

Today I did a Cardio Coach Mix of my own. It had four challenges on it and is one of the harder mixes I've done. I did very well with it. I can't believe how faster I can run on my treadmill. I cannot figure out what the difference is. Whatever it is, my cardio endurance has exceeded substantially.

Workout was 62 minutes, I ran almost 4 miles and burned 418 calories (although my treadmill said 564). It was a great workout.

Now I think I may do a stretch workout tomorrow morning and Friday and just rest until Monday. I've decided to do STS beginning on Monday.

Have a great day everyone!!

Today I did Kelly Coffey 30 minutes to fitness Lean Body Circuit both workouts pre-mix, 52 minutes, 365 calories. I liked this a lot put together and was able to kick it up a bit after becoming a bit more familiar with it. I like the different twist she puts on some moves. I really want her Pump workout too. I added on 14 minutes of The Art of Flow Yoga with Zuzana, stopping at vinyasa flow B. That is all that I had time for. My workout was 66 minutes and calories burned 416. My grandbabies slept in a bit this morning. I took them to the community pool and I think I wore them out a bit. I sunburned my back :( Also the tops of my knees. I forgot to put sunscreen on those areas. It was a good thing I had a t back tank on. Odd thing is they changed the lock on our pool gate and my the key only works on the outside of the gate. I was struggling to open it to get my sunglasses out of my car when another grandma at the pool came up and told me I had to unlock it from the outside to get out. How weird. We could have walked since it was just up the street except we had pool floatie toys and stuff. I had not been there before so it was kind of cool because it is by the small lake and there were geese hanging out which the grandchildren got a kick out of.

Debbie, good idea. I am enjoying the rotation with Low Impact series and STS. I will get back to it next week. I doubt I will take the recovery week.

Roselyn, how was your results with Body Beast? I know you had to take some down time but was wondering if you gained anything from it.

I like body beast and gained some muscle gong to miss it may start sts next week , any rotation ideas?

I see cathe has a new series coming out.

So today was back workout.

Today I did P90X3 cold start and CVX, 45 minutes, 273 calories. I always do cold start warm up with that one because it starts right out with press jacks with weights overhead. I then did Kelly Coffey 30 minutes to Fitness Slim Sculpting core/abs premix minus the warm up, 27 minutes, 104 calories. I used a 15Lb for all of the core/abs. Those plank holds on the kettle bells make my wrists ache a bit but, I love this workout. . Hers is flat on the bottom and mine are round. Total time 72 minutes 377 calories. Tomorrow I think I will do yoga again.

Roselyn, Cathe has quite a few STS rotation combos. There is the one in Ripped with Hiit. I am doing the STS Low Impact Series one. That is from the double rotation that has a 1 month rotation on it as well as the 3 month. I get bored a lot so I kind of enjoying doing an undulating rotation with the STS Low Impact series.

No workout yesterday or today as planned. Feels good to just rest. I should have done some flexibility, but haven't. :(

Are any of you purchasing Cathe's new workouts? Sort of sounds like the original Cross Train Xpress workouts. Cardio and one body part on each workout. Not sure I'll order. I may get the weight lifting ones but not even sure I'd like those. I wish she'd do another Gym Style workout program. Or something similar to Body Beast.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Today I did Bob Harper's Yoga For the Warrior entire workout and the yoga abs, 74 minutes. That is it for today. I am not sure about tomorrow yet. I still want a park day for the grandchildren and we really need to do that early before it gets too hot. My husband took our granddaughter to see Tomorrow land this morning. My Grandchildren's parents and older brother will be back from Haiti tomorrow night.

Debbie I did not pre order. I just can't right now. I am sure I will buy the workouts eventually. I find that there is a lot of repetitive stuff in the workouts but, each has a bit different twist and a new move or two in them. That and different music makes them nice to have. I think we all have different thoughts on what we would like in a new workout series. I would like something like BB too. Also anything new that is not really high impact. I can do some of it but I don't think I could do a full Ripped With Hiit rotation without using the premixes to cut back on the jumping. I am glad that there was Low Impact Hiit in it. Both leg workouts have impact if done as set up. That being said Cathe does have good mixes in them. I know Cathe could come up with a good one. I really didn't look over the format of the workouts really well yet though. Too busy with 3 dogs, a baby and a granddaughter obsessed with playing Minecraft with me when I have free time.

Today I did Kelly Coffey Circuit Burn, both workout and abs, 65 minutes, 417 calories. I keep finding that the workouts that I had previously entered into My Fitness Pal quite some time ago are missing. I wonder if their changes altered what I had? I wanted to see how different it was from the lean circuit new one. It is lighter on the weights and higher rep I believe. It does boxing but not kickboxing segments along with the cardio segments. Anyway, I was just noting the difference because I have not done it in a long time.

So today I started STS. Did Meso 1, Chest, Shoulders and Biceps. Great workout, I think I will like doing this series again. The only thing i hate is all the dang pushups Cathe does. Why does one workout have to have endless pushups in it? Other than that, loved it!!!

Have a great workout and day everyone!!!

I am back at my rotation this week. Today I did Low Impact Series Total Body Tri sets Upper Body adding 6 minutes of TRX stretching to the end, 61 minutes, 275 calories. I then did STS Ab Circuits Stability Ball Abs 20 minutes, 91 calories. Total time 8es and calories burned 366.

Debbie, I like STS but don't like all of the pull ups, chin ups and some of the band work. It is just be it makes my traps and neck painful.

Roselyn, nice start to STS. Are you doing a particular rotation or just doing it fitting it in here and there? I sometimes will just do a week or two of each phase because the full rotation is so long.

Today I did a Cardio Coach mix which about killed me. It was brutal but I did really well with it. My knees aren't liking me too much right now, though. I sat out one of my stretch workouts and WILL be doing it later after work.

Workout was 62 minutes, Fitbit said I ran 4.25 miles but my treadmill said it was only 4 miles. Whichever, I hit 4 so I'm happy about that. Burned 429 calories.

Roselyn - Cool!! We can do STS together!

Diane Sue - I know, I have to be really careful with STS. The band exercises do tend to irritate my neck and upper back.

Today was P90X 3 Cold Start, 12 minutes, 33 calories, STS disc 17 Legs week 2 meso 2, 47 minutes, 277 calories . I wanted some extra cardio so did Party Rockin Step timesaver #2, 1&2 mixed, 31 minutes, 192 calories. I finished with Chalean Extreme Recharge for extra stretching, 21 minutes, 60 calories. time was 1 hr 51 minutes calories burned 562.

Debbie, nice workout and calorie burn.

Today I did STS Meso 1, Disc 2 - Back and Triceps. Had a good workout. Not liking this rotation as much as I liked Body Beast. We'll see how long I stick with it.

I did do Yoga Stretch yesterday after work and it felt great!!!!

Diane Sue - Nice job on your workout as well!!!

This morning's workout in the rotation was Low Impact Series Athletic Training, 56 minutes, 335 calories. That is all I had time for. I could have used more stretching but my granddaughter came over to try on her dress for a pageant that I did some work on for her. Now new thermostats are being installed. Finally broke down and turned on the air. It is hot. I was so stiff this morning it was hard moving through the warm up and I added some additional stretching at the end of the warm up before I started. I really went heavy yesterday on the STS legs. 40's for the first sets of squats. Way heavier than last time I did this workout. Last time was 12 weeks post knee surgery and I was keeping it light. I am still feeling Total Body Trisets upper from Monday as well. I am wondering how I am going to repeat that after today's workout:eek:

Debbie, nice work and glad that you got in the yoga. I really need it. Maybe I can fit something in later today. I periodically go upstairs and do some TRX stretches to loosen up the back, hips, and shoulders and it is helping quite a lot. Maybe you could do a shorter STS rotation and go back to a BB rotation.
