Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for July

Today's workout was Cardio Supersets. I will do some yoga later before bed. This workout was 41 minutes and I burned 207 calories. I have to go get some batteries today for my heart rate watches and transmitters. I had to take one out of one of the transmitters to use today in one of the watches. Apparently almost all of them are low batteries.
 
Today I did Gym Style Back, Shoulders and Biceps and had a great workout. Love love love Gym Style. I am so sore from Chest & Tri's that I know I'll be sore from this one as well. I also walked on my treadmill for 1.5 miles.

Today I did another Cardio Coach workout that I rarely do, Cardio Coach #4. This one just isn't much fun. Lots of hills and Sean's time on the intervals are all incorrect. Some are supposed to be 2 minute hill climbs and turn out to be 1:30 minutes or a 2 minute sprint that turns out to be 2:15. It's an ok workout but I understand why I don't reach for it often.

Workout was 45 minutes, I an 2.9 miles and burned 313 calories.

It's less humid here today, yesterday we hit 92 - only the 2nd over 90 degree day this year. Next week it looks like we will be back in the 70's. This has been one strange summer.

Roselyn - Mowing the lawn is a workout in itself! Especially when it's hot and humid out.
 
Today I got a late start on the workout. I had to take one of the cars in early and run errands. I finally did get in STS disc 24 back and biceps skipping the deadlifts. 32 minutes. I put it down as 150 calories. Really after putting new batteries in my HR watch and transmitter I got a super wonderful reading of 87. I am sure that was not correct. My previous My Fitness Pal reading and adjusting the time worked would have brought me to 191 so I just made it 150. I still will do some yoga. I did some yin yoga last night before I went to bed. This has been nice and kept me from feeling so stiff when I got up in the morning.
 
Today was supposed to be Low Impact Challenge but I really did not want to do it again. I wanted something more energetic so I did Intensity, 57 minutes, 358 calories. I followed it with the bonus stability ball abs from Butts and Guts . 16 minutes 52 calories. Total time was 73 minutes and calories burned 410. I will do some yin yoga this evening again. I want to do the neck and shoulder one again.

Roselyn, time is flying. I have a granddaughter that turns 19 next month. It hardly seems possible. I remember working out and her crawling off and on the futon in the workout room when she was a toddler.

Debbie, I have workouts that I hardly use and when I get them out to do them I realize why I do not do them often. I did finally break down and get rid of some of them when we made our move.
 
I forgot to post this morning. I did Gym Style Legs, standing only and then walked on my treadmill for 2 miles. Had a great workout. I'm done now until the 2nd week of August. I will rest next week, I really need it.
