Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for July

Today was Meso 3 week 2 disc 28 chest and back, 65 minutes, 307 calories. I could use more stretching but I have to go out on errands and do some catching up.
 
Today I did Meso 2, Week 4, Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. This was the drop set phase. Had a great workout and benched 70#. Not my heaviest by far, but it felt good to go heavy again. Fun workout, I like the different ways she trains with Meso 2. I also did 5 sets of planks and then walked 2 miles on my treadmill.

Diane Sue - I can't stand Wal Mart either. Not my first choice to go too for shopping. I only go there when I don't have any other choice.

Roselyn - Sounds like you had fun on your anniversary! Congrats on 25 years! Me and my dh will be married 20 years next April. I can't believe it. It has gone by so fast. Not sure I'd ever want to go to Vegas, though! LOL!!! We love Mackinac Island. I'm hoping we will get up there next year. Welcome back!!! Have fun with the Beast. I wish they would get the new ones out already.
 
Today I did a Cardio Coach Mix I made up and had a great workout. You know, sometimes I catch myself thinking about Sean and how he isn't with us anymore. What a great, talented man he was. Why someone feels there is no way out other than taking your own life is a mystery to me. I've never understood that way of thinking. He was so motivating and I just don't get it. Such a shame. I sure hope he's resting in peace. Anyways...

Workout was 60 minutes, ran 4 miles and burned 445 calories. Woo hoo!!!
 
Today's workout was Plyo Legs Meso 3 week 3, 48 minutes, 275 calories. I added Piyo Define Lower, 22 minutes, 42 calories. Total time was 70 minutes and calories burned 317.

Debbie, I quit doing Sean's workouts because it made me feel sad when I heard him talking. It is very hard to understand how someone comes to the place where they want to end it all. He was very motivating. You got in an excellent workout :)
 
Today I did Slide and Glide 52 minutes, 255 calories. I added on Kelly Coffey Home Gym Intervals waistline bonus wearing weight gloves, 10 minutes, 45 calories. Total time was 62 minutes and calories burned 300. This is week 11 of the rotation. Slide and Glide is scheduled 1 more time in this 14 week rotation. I am not a fan. I always feel uncomfortable with it and am trying to get the HR up. I don't mind the strength work and abs at the end. I think some of it is it is always after leg day and my legs and hips are already sore.
 
Today I did STS Meso 2, Week 4, Back & Biceps. Had a great workout. With biceps, I did reverse curls rather than concentration curls. You all know how I feel about those. Plus my left elbow is really hurting and concentration curls really makes it hurt bad. I did 40# barbell curls and that hurt like hell. Not sure what to do about this problem? I can do hammer curls and the elbow doesn't hurt at all doing those.

I also walked on my treadmill for 2 miles.

Diane Sue - I love the Cardio Coach workouts. I know it's sad to use them and hear his voice, but the workouts are too good not to use. He is the reason I started to love running. Nice workout! The Slide and Glide workout doesn't sound like much fun to me. I don't like doing the plate exercises in STS, I can't imagine doing an entire workout with them! LOL!!!
 
rest day today , did beast abs, and yes Diane Sue beast cardio is hard that is why I am resting today, really trying to follow this program and not add much cardio. There are some beast groups on FB and they have seen great results just trusting the program so I am going to try and not be the cardio queen for awhile we will see.
 
Today was STS disc 30 week 2 meso 3, 61 minutes, 251 calories. I then did Piyo Strength Intervals, 22 minutes, 134inutes. I had a hard time with the tricep push ups wit Piyo. I think my arms were already pretty worn out. Total time was 83 minutes, 385 calories.

Roselyn, I have been trying to cut back on cardio. It is not easy though.
 
I forgot to post this morning. I did Cardio Coach #6 - Candace and had a great workout. After that I did Yoga Stretch and really needed it.

CC workout was 54 minutes, ran 3.36 miles and burned 376 calories.

Roselyn - I may do BB after I finish STS. I miss it.
 
Today I did STS Meso 2, Week 4, Legs and had a great workout. I changed the exercises a bit but mostly kept to the workout. I don't get the Elevated Deadlifts where you do them standing on the step. Seriously, can anyone go below your knees for this exercise? If so, you can really damage your back going that low. I watch Cathe's group doing this exercise and they all stop just below the knee. Why be elevated? I like putting the 3# weights under my toes, that makes the work hit more in my hamstrings when I do that. I did Gym Style Legs Calf work instead of the one on STS. I walked on my treadmill for 1.5 miles and then did the stretch from GS.

I am supposed to have an active recovery week but would like to wait until the first week of August to do that. I may do one of the Meso 2 weeks over again and then take my recovery week the following week.

Today was supposed to be either Low Impact Challenge which I have been using most of this rotation but really am tired of it. The Option was Cycle Max so I did Pedal Power instead, 59 minutes, 485 calories, 14 miles. I followed this with Butts and Guts abs and stretch, 22 minutes, 60 calories. This is a nice little stretch. I did do a bit of TRX stretching and warming up before I started. My neck and lats are stiff and achy this morning. Total workut time was 81 minutes and calorie burned 545.

Debbie, I always wondered that too with using the platform for deadlifts. Sometimes even with a riser under. My dumbbells never reach that low. I didn't want a full recovery week with my rotation either. I did take extra days off but did yoga and 3 circuit workouts during my break.
 
Today's workout was Cardio Supersets, 41 minutes, 230 calories. I wanted a bit more but did not want to do the bonus step on that workout because of the lateral raises and overhead stuff. So, I subbed and did the Step portion of All Out Low Impact Hiit, 12 minutes, 79 calories. I finished off with Piyo Buns, 28 minutes, 113 calories. Total time was 81 minutes, and calories burned 422.
 
Today was Mesocycle 2 week 3 disc 19 Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps followed by the Extended Stretch, 84 minutes, 303 calories.
 
Today I did Gym Style Chest & Tri's. Didn't want to do another week of Meso 2. I thought I'd do GS and then take a week off next week and start back with Meso 3. Had a great workout, I really love this one.

Nice job with your workouts, ladies!!! Wish I had time to workout on the weekends again. I just don't and usually don't have any motivation to do anything anyways. Oh well...
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #5. I don't usually do this workout, I can probably count on one hand how many times I've done this one and after doing it I wonder why? I really liked it and had a great workout. I don't care much for hill climbs so that might be why I don't reach for it often. But I will probably start doing it a bit more since I really did enjoy it.

Workout was 54 minutes, I ran 3.41 miles and burned 379 calories.

Today I did Total Body Tri-sets lower body split, 3inutes, 181 calories. I then did Ripped with Hiit Low Ipact Hiit #1 mix 5 with the abs 1, 201 calories, 36 minutes. I finished off with Body Beast Abs, 11 minutes, 37 calories. Total time was 86 minutes, and calories 419. I noticed my HR watch was showing a battery indicator flash on and off. I guess it needs the batteries changed. I am not holding onto any hopes that is going to change my calories and heart rate though. I swear I changed the batteries in this one a few months ago. I would have thought they would last longer than that.

Debbie, nice work on the Cardio Coach. I looked and I only have CC Candace and Hiit Coach. I think when I sold my Treadmill to my daughter I gave them my other CC workouts, and walking stronger workouts. I also had some iFit ones that worked wth the treadmill. I am not that they would have worked well with the Tread Climber all though it does hills etc..
