Happy New Year everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year. I didn’t stay up until midnight. I had to get up early for my flight. Got lots of steps in already. I will try to get a weight workout in if I am not to tired from the flight. We shall see.

Today I had an excellent workout, I got a great night's sleep. I went to bed at 8:30pm like always and woke up refreshed and ready for the day. Today I started P90X and did Shoulders and Arms and did really well with the weights. There was one exercise that I replaced with another one because it hurt my collar bone. Workout was 56 minutes and I burned 386 calories says my old fitness tracker.

This workout as you know is one exercise for each body part and then repeat the round again. I did most of my sets x 12 reps but some Tony said to do 16 reps for finishers.

Good Afternoon,

Unlike Jolie I had a terrible night’s sleep I was worried about the Sol De Janero set-up I had to do this morning. I did Raw Kettlebell & Kicboxing when I got home.

Debbie-no DH doesn’t workout he just wanted a watch to get his text messages. One of the Ulta’s in our district is getting setup for Charolette Tilbury.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Let's hope it's a good year and all these wars end. I wish for peace throughout the world and I pray we get it. I hope you all had a great New Years Day!

This morning I tried a workout I haven't done before. It's RAW Hi/Lo Sculpt and I don't ever remember seeing it out there before. It was ok, Kelly did the lower impact and Caitlin did higher impact. I mixed the two together and did the higher impact on a couple of the cardio segments.

45 seconds on/10 seconds off

Squat/Front Raise/Upright Row: 8# (right for 1 set/left for 2nd set)
Knee/Long Side Step
Squat/Lunge/Curl: 8# (right for 1 set/left for 2nd set)
Front Lunge 2x/switch
Squat/Kickback: 8# (right for 1 set/left for 2nd set)
Squat Outs/Jump In
Side Lunge/Press/Triceps Extension: 8# (I did not like this, felt really dangerous. I did push press/shoulder press)
Side Step/Bunny Hops
Repeat all again

Workout was 32 minutes, burned 242 calories, did 1171 steps and HR was 121/155.

I also did one of Kelly's stretches, I think it was a TBTS one but I can't remember. It was 20 minutes long.

Jolie - I have seen the high surf in CA on the news. Incredible. I feel bad for all those people losing their houses. Living along the ocean like that is so beautiful but the ocean isn't something to mess with. Great job with your workout yesterday!

Roxie - Great job with your workout. So Ulta has Charlotte Tilbury now? I haven't bought any Tilbury stuff in a while, it's all so expensive. I'll have to keep my eye out for it, though. My DH doesn't workout with me either.

No workout yesterday. I had a great time with my grandchildren playing games and making cookies. Was really tired last night and caught up on some sleep. Today I did Raw Strength #1 cardio acceleration, 35 minutes, heart rate 110/141, 138 calories. I then did Raw Timesaver Intervals, 13 minutes, 67 calories, heart rate 124/145. I finished with Raw Stretch Flow, 20 minutes, 38 calories. Total time was 68 minutes, 243 calories.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Hi/Lo Sculpt, and the Raw stretch. I always put that down as stretch flow for an identifier as she calls it a flow in her description and there is some movement in it. I like it and the 20 minutes is good. I am sure I have done the Hi/Lo one at least once. The workout I did today was from February 2021. I was looking at the other Cardio Acceleration workouts and thought I would do them again. I wish I had dated all of these workouts and Kelly dated them as a way to find some of them. I liked the music in the one I did today. Next time I do number 3 I will modify some of the cardio or skip it. My knee is still achy after the Ignite you Metabolism Saturday. Time was good for me as I had groceries coming that I needed to get in in between things. They ended up being late so I did the stretch after putting away the stuff.

Jolie, great job yesterday on P90X. I am glad the pup is making it easier for you to get in some weights. I saw video of the waves and people out there surfing. It does not look safe to me.

Belinda, I hope you are home and getting some rest. My granddaughter and I stayed up till 3 am so I was really tired the next day. I was woke up by my 9 year old grandson thumping around and my watch had a message pop up from their mother. I had to take a quick nap when they left before my husband got up to go to work.

Roxie, nice job on Raw Kettlebell and Kickboxing when you got home. I can never sleep well when I have something different to do the next day. My mind ends up all over the place.

Debbie-she is coming to Ulta yet stores are just getting ready to make space for her. From what I heard one store is cutting down Two Faced cosmetics.

Diane-it wasn’t worth worrying about everything turned out ok.

Hi,

I closed all my rings on my Apple Watch just walking around the airport. I always use the opportunity to squeeze in a walk when we have a layover. We got home around 8 pm, just to find out hour house was an ice box. The nest thermostat decided to drop to 51. Dh did change the temperature at the airport. Somehow it didn’t work, he didn’t pay attention.I cracked up the nest to 90 to reset it. It worked but very slow. It took a while before I and Sadie could take a shower. I didn’t wanted her to get sick. I do blow dry her after her shower. I woke up late today. I slept like a rock. I am still very tired. I did Cathe’s newest TB Barbell workout this evening. I like it.

Diane - I am still very tired. I almost skipped my workout. Glad you got in a nap. Kids can wear you out, lol. Gad you had a great time.

Jolie - I had a terrible night too. I hope you got some rest.

I liked the combos Diane did yesterday so I did the same. I did RAW Strength 1 - Cardio Acceleration and added TBTS Sculpt Bos & Tone. I had an excellent workout.

Diane - I liked the combo you did yesterday and I haven't done the acceleration workouts in a while. I've never don #3, did you like it other than the cardio intensity? I might do 2 and 3 this week as well. I think #2 is almost an hour, though, not sure I can do the whole thing. Yes, that was the stetch I did, the flow one. I like that one, it's a good one.

Roxie - Glad your display turned out good, I'm not sure I'd be creative enough to do something like that. I love how people do the displays at the Ulta I go to. Makes me want to buy stuff.

Belinda - Bummer on your house being cold, yikes!! Glad you got home safely and had a great vacation!! Is the Cathe workout you did on her live channel or do you have the DVD?

Today I had an excellent workout, I got in some weights because it is raining this morning and I could not walk the pup till it stops. Today I did P90X Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. I was supposed to do Chest and Back but the garage is too cold for all of the Back work, the pulldowns and pullups and all of that. I will try to do that workout this weekend. Todays workout was great, it is a slow pace, and he gives you time to set up which I like, no rushing and no hurting yourself to keep up. Workout was 57 minutes and I burned 387 calories.

I did Cathe’s 2023 Videos Gloved Up and Sweaty with cloves. I like this one. Very fun! I am doing Cathe’s 2024 Jan rotation, I will sub in some live workouts.

Tomorrow I have an appointment at UPenn tomorrow. I will get my workout in before I leave.

Jolie - I did get a good night sleep, still very tired. I went back to plant based eating, just to give my body a break from eating so much meat in TX. I will eat meat here and there. Like you, I will eat more veggies and fruit. Great job on your workout.

I walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes I was going to do Cathe’s Lite Stacked Upper Body but the main workout wouldn’t load the timesavers and everything else worked so it threw me off makes me so mad I never checked it before.

Today I did Raw Kickboxing #1 34 minutes, 202 calories, heartrate 140/166 followed by Lite Cardio Party Timesaver #3 hi/lo, 23 minutes, 102 calories, heartrate 121/149,102 calories. Total time was 57 minutes, 304 calories, 4,401 steps. Busy morning Whole Foods delivery, Chewy delivery, Walmart delivery, and still waiting on TruGreen to show up. I managed to get the workout all in at once in between. No time for some yoga or extra stretching though. I plan on doing the other two Cardio Acceleration workouts this week. Hopefully the rest of the week is not busy. I want to get some cooking in.
 
Debbie, nice work today on Cardio Acceleration #1 and the TBTS box and tone. I think I am confusing the moves in the Ignite Your Metabolism and Cardio Acceleration #3. I just went back and looked at both of them as I have them printed up. I should not have done these two on consecutive days and the Ignite one had lots of jumping on and off the step. My knees were not happy. I am going to dig out acceleration #2 today and see how long as I think you are right that it is almost an hour. #3 is 49 minutes.

Belinda, I am glad that you got home safely. Good idea getting in walks at the airport while waiting. Gloved up and Sweaty is a fun workout. Great job.

Jolie, great job on P90X chest, shoulders, and triceps. You are getting in some good weights.

Roxie, I am sorry your dvd was not working right. I run all of mine through right away because I have had a couple of times where there was an issue with one. Although having a premix not work may take a while to find out. Nice work on the treadmill anyway.

Diane - sorry your knees were not happy. Be carful! I always make sure i walk as much as I can, getting all my steps in. Cloved up and sweaty is a fun workout. Great job.

This morning I did RAW Ignite Your Metabolism and I really liked it. I used my step with 2 risers and was able to do all the high impact except for when she jumps on and off with both feet. I'm just too afraid of missing the step and hurting myself. Instead I jogged on and did the step knee and it worked out great. 31 minutes.

I also did RAW TBTS Sculpt Shadow Boxing which I have been looking for since she released. I did a few minutes of it one day and ran out of time but couldn't find it after that. It is not on the screen where all the RAW workouts are, it's under the Cardio section. Weird. I used 3# dumbbells with this workout and had an excellent workout. Kelly uses 5# and I thought that might be too taxing on my shoulders and neck. 3# was perfect. This is an excellent workout and it's slow and controlled. Loved it! 18 minutes.

Both workouts together was 49 minutes, burned 420 calories, did 4053 steps and HR was 135/176.

Belinda - Hmmm, I might have to get that barbell workout. I love using my barbell. Only thing is I need a stand for it. When I go heavy it's hard to hoist it up in a sitting position. Was the kickboxing one you did high in intensity like all her other kickboxing workouts are? Was that a new workout as well? I'll check out her newer workouts. Great job on Gloved Up and Sweaty!

Jolie - Nice job with P90X yesterday. Those are some good workouts, I should pull those out again. Are you going to subscribe to RAW? You would LOVE the shadow boxing one I did today. It was an excellent workout. I should get on my Max Trainer too, I have such a fear factor with that thing. LOL!!!

Roxie - I hate when that happens when you're trying to get a workout to load or internet is funky or whatever. Really irritation. Good job on the treadmill, though!

Diane - Great job with Kickboxing 1, good to see you doing boxing again. I can see how your knees would hurt after the Ignite and CardioAcceleration workouts. The Ignite one wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, though. I was even able to do the mountain climbers. I actually really liked the workout. But my knees can only take so much so I have to be careful. Today they were good.

Today I did Raw Strength 2 Cardio Acceleration, 59 minutes (I had to make a couple of stops to adjust) 221 calories, heartrate 113/144, 2,543 steps. I also did CDorner mobility from Jan 2, Better Movement which I really liked, 29 minutes,55 calories, heart rate 86/115. Total time was 88 minutes, 276 calories. I have not done Strength 2 Cardio and really liked it. I will do Strength 3 again Saturday (I think)

Debbie, great job today with the Raw Ignite Your Metabolism and the Sculpt Shadow Boxing. I Usually use 3 # for most when she uses 5#. If it is fairly slow boxing, I will try 5's for moves I can do with 5's. I will probably do Ignite your Metabolism again but modify more and not right after something else intense. I pushed too hard and did most how Kelly did. She did say not to do that type of workout real often. I never jump off the step like that. I came off one foot at a time. I think I am having a flare up of the Rheumatoid Arthritis. I should not have let all those supplements run out. It is my joints from head to toe so I just aggravated it more. I even have areas of the lower spine area that were hurting last night. One place seemed like it had a bump on it and I checked in the mirror as I thought maybe it was bruised, but it did not. Hopefully I can get it under control without going in for a steroid injection. There is a definite difference from just muscle soreness and joint pain. I had not done the Strength 2 before. I had a copy of your post when you did it in the past. I watched it last night to check out the cardios and moves. I don't know why she said you don't need a bench and can do the bench parts on the floor. I had to stop and get out the bench when I got to the seated rows. I could feel it in my low back and had to be sure I was leaned over my lap well to take the pressure off there.

Roxy, having a dvd not work is still frustrating. I had one years ago that would not work right, but it worked in my computer, just not my dvd player. It was from a set and all worked but one in the dvd player. Nice work on Build and Burn Kettlebell Kickbox Fusion.
