Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Plyo X (Beachbody). I was planning on doing an Imax today, but I was curious to see how hard this was for me since I'm planning on doing a Power 90 Masters rotation next week. It was tough, but not as tough as I thought before I used to do Cathe. I did modify the tuck jumps on the rebounder. All of this plyo will probably make my piriformis act up again.

I'm bummed today, as I don't want to go back to work.

I have plyo x too and I do it about once a week. I too felt that it could be tougher. I do not have his whole series though I just bought plyox on ebay. Good leg workout. I really wish that Cathe would do an all plyo tape. That would be the best.
Today was my day off. I wo 6x weekly. Yesterday I did GS Legs, KP and Crunch and 2 miles of Leslie Sansone WATP 4 mile tape. I wo about 2 hours daily. What do you usually do? I just joined the forum today,
 
Good Morning everyone.
I have to go to work today so I won't have time for much I am going to do a legs and Glutes premix and a 20 minute walk (can't run due to a foot injury) Then I will walk 45 min tonight.

Lori - I hear you on the not wanting to go back to work, I only work 2-3 days a week and I still dread it.

Joy- welcome!! 2 hours wow! I guess I do about that but I split it up
seems like a killer workout you did yesterday.

Good Morning!

I am going to be working out tri's/bi's (freestyle, no video). Then onto BBM workout doing One Set of 20 leg curls..weight? , 20 bench step ups right/left leg, 20 stiff legged deadlifts w/70# barbell, 20 lunges left and right leg with 20# db's and 20 duck squats.

Anyone know what a butt blaster is? Is that the same as glute squeezes for this workout?

Have a great workout. I still have DOMS in my thighs so I guess I am going to get more???? LOL!

This am. I am going to do BBM 3 sets of each:eek: And a TLT shape your core, and ride my airdyne.

Charlotte the the Butt Blaster is a machine at the gym....I think?? You will be surprised at how quickly BBM goes. I feel some doms from the little I did yesterday:) I used a 25lb barbell for the deadlifts, and then used no wts for everything else. WOW 70 lBS!!

Dallas so sorry to hear you are sick!! Hope you heal quickly!! I feel so bad about getting a head of you on BBM.........NOT:7 LOL

Terri how did it go for you yesterday?? I am sticking with no to wts and see how this goes?? (Although I did use 25lb for deadlifts)

Thanks! Well I will just have to work with what I have and go for it. I am determined to do this workout and at "full speed" too. There is never a limit when it comes to weights...if you know you can, then you must do it! I am ready to rock!!!!

Nicole-I might not be able to walk tomorrow if I do three sets. lol I will see how far I get. I have to be able to dance and jump around at my concert Thursday night. There are no seats since it is at a bar. Tell me how you feel after your three sets!!

Dallas-How is you throat today? How about the fever? I hope you are doing a lot better today. Are you going to be able to meet for lunch on Thursday?

I'm deciding what w/o to do today. I'll do what I can of BBM, and it seems Strength in Motion-TLT and Karen Voights, Great Weighted workout are the ones I can do. I'll review Cathe's Total Body Sculpting. Boy, do I miss Cathe!

Nicole, do you do all the BBM with a 25 lb. bb?

Dallas, I'm sorry you got strep.:( We've been lucky so far this winter. I had some congestion a few months ago, and my dh had the sniffles for a couple of days.

I have a busy day, but I'll be back later....Tonight is my Shower.

Good morning!!!

Back to work today...yuk!!!!

This morning I did IMAX2 and then I did some ab work followed by 2 set of the BBM exercises. I will be going for a run or something later...

Charlotte - You can do butt blasters w/o the machine (I think she does them in Legs & Glutes like this). Just put on ankle weights get on the floor and keep take one leg back and lift...you can also do these by bending the leg at the knee and lifting (no higher than you butt).

Lora/Charlotte - I have absolutely no idea who the heck you guys are are referring to (music groups)...guess I need to broaden my horizons a bit?

Welcome Joy!! I ususally workout at least 6 times a week. I generally work out first thing in the morning and during my lunch break. No specific time frame...I generally just go with the flow.

Jessica - I know what you mean about not wanting to go to work even with 2-3 days/week. Work it work...right? Good workout...what did you do to your foot?

Lora - Hope you have a good day...don't let em get to you!!

Nicole - I'm in...I only had time for 2 sets this morning, but something is much better than nothing.

Dallas - Hope you feel better....bet you're not working out are you??


Sabrina - I think you could be over butt DOMS by Thursday...GO FOR IT!!

Marietta-I already have DOMS in my legs mostly. lol Three sets are going to kill me! I am going to try it tough. It has been too long since I have worked out regularly. Try to have a good day at work even though you have to go back.

Susan-How is that little man of yours? I bet he is getting big already. Have fun at your shower this evening. I bet you will get some cute little outfits. I love baby clothes!! lol

I have to work from 1-5 this afternoon. I hope I am not just warming the seat up there again today. I am not going to have a clue what to do when I do get a client though. LOL! I will probably panic!! :D

Susan I only use a 25 lb barbell for the deadlifts only!! I don't use wts for the lunges, step ups, squats etc.... well I have been wearing my jolies, but I could hardly count those:7 Oh and I have been putting on my ankle wts. and doing leg kickbacks with them on. Tomorrow I my put a 10-12 db inbetween my feet to do hamstring curls?? Hey how are the boys doing???

Hey Charlotte I don't have home gym so that is what I am doing to.... revising as needed;-) I found doing ALL 3 sets today quite a challenge even without wts!! Freestyle training has really been working for my lower half:7 Also I have been riding my bike like a maniac, and that is really making my legs STRONG:D

Terri how is it going??? I did my lunges like Debbie does with knee ups and kicks..... That made it a little more fun.

Dallas hope your throat is better!! I like to suck on lemon drops when my throat is feeling raw!! It seems to help. Take care!!

Nicole-I am going for all three but I am waiting until after work. I want to be able to walk and get out of my chair if a client comes in. LOL! I didn't use weights last night for any of the exercises except for the deadlifts then it was 20 pounds. I KNOW I want that butt. I am going to the Great Wolf Lodge for Easter so I will be wearing a bikini then. My butt had better get moving!
 
Sabrina my butt is feeling pretty good right now, but tomorrow I wonder?????:7 Wendy's butt is good motivater }( HOW long do you think it will take to get that butt:7 ?

I just got done working out to BBM. I just did the one set. Used 20# db's for the walking lunges and my heart rate was up there! LOL! I really like this workout!!!! I am planning on running and riding my bike inbetween the workouts. I don't know if I will use weights when doing the 3 sets. I will have to see what works for me, but I will try it and see if I can still stand or not. If I fall down, then I won't use weights next time! LOL! As long as I can still stand then I will try to use weights for all 3 sets. The duck squats made my legs shake really bad so that will be something! OMG!

Nicole-I have no idea how long it will take to get that butt. I hope sooner rather than later. ;-) The great wolf lodge is were we went in August. I have to go see my allergy doctor on Good Friday and the boys don't have school that day or the Monday after Easter so we thought why not. There is suppose to be some special things for the kids too.

Terri-Thanks for the vibes! I hope they work. Is Arvada close to you? How is Ashley doing? How much longer does she have before her treatments are done? How is your son holding up through all this?

Charlotte-I think falling down is a good indication that the weights might be too much. :D
 
Oh Hey Sabrina-Arvada is about 20 minutes from me. If you come out we should for sure meet up! It would be so fun. Thanks for asking about Ashley. She is tired and the radiation is making her throat sore but she is fo rthe most part doing well. She has about 2 more weeks to go. My son is a trooper and is very supportive. He does all the housework and cooking and makes sure she eats. I know he is stressed but does well not to show it! But us moms know these things. I am very proud of him and how he is handling all this. Oh and I want you to be the first to know they are talking marriage this summer !!!!

That is GREAT news!!! Your son sounds like one in a million! You have raised a very fine son! You should be very proud! Tell him I said so too.

I will let you know if and when we decide to go to Arvada. I will let you know though because I would love to meet you.
 
This will be a quick check in. I went to the school and store and ran errands now I have to go back out to the bank and pick up grandchildren from two schools. This morning I did P90X Plyometrics, 3 mile treadmill run and calves and floorwork from GS legs. I will try to check in again this evening. Welcome Joy:)
