Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 4/6

Patti, I plan on doing a slightly different STS rotation after meso 3. I will do the Endurance upper with Plyo legs and hopefully a kettlebell workout each week till I get through all of Plyo legs since I am doing the other leg option for Meso 3. Then I am not sure. I didn't get Chalene Extreme. Would like to get it though. I also have Amy Bento's Kettlebell workout and kickbox coming the end of this month so will be working those in. I bought that Better than Peanut Butter before. It does not taste right. I used it with protein powder and made some protein bars till I finally got rid of it. Never will buy it again.

Dallys, I hear you on the diet. For the most part I can do well without logging or paying much attention because I normally will make healthy choices. I never was good at meal timing. I just eat when I feel like it. But once in awhile go off the deep end and feel like a blimp so I have to make myself pay more attention for awhile.

Charlotte, I was looking at the Muscle Milk Bottled shakes in the grocery store and I think they have more calories and fat than a scoop of the powder does. I can never rely on a liquid drink to make me feel full for very long. It just tides me over for awhile till I can eat real food. Lately I have been using a fork to mix chocolate protein powder with egg whites and stevia and cooking it like a pancake. Then I spread raspberry simply fruit over the top and sometimes some yogurt, cottage cheese, or fat free sour cream too. I tried vanilla with some cinnamon the other day and a little fat free cream cheese with blueberries and it was pretty good that way. That is more filling and increases the protein.

Debbie, I am on my 2nd week of Mesocycle 3 so I am nearing the end of STS.

Hi Guys - I did the Oxygen abs again yesterday and some leg maintenance work to carry me over between leg workouts. I was bummed that I wasn't sore from the workout and as the day has gone on, if I laugh, cough, turn funny, my abs sort of scream at me so I'm all good :)

Today will be Disc 19 I think it is...triceps, shoulders, and chest. Just don't feel all that great but I'm going to try it and hope to feel better as I go on.

Great workouts, everyone!

Teddygirl, I was wondering where you had disappeared to.

Patti - thanks for the info on the little device thing. Just don't know if I would enter my calories or not...well, keep up with them in the first place. I have always followed Dallys' method but in the end, I don't often eat enough. If I track calories, though, I get all crazy.

Char - good grief on the weights - awesome. And I second the idea of the ValSlides ;) ...insert evil laugh here!

Patti, I was just thinking about the Better than Peanut Butter and that is not what I used. What I used was called Peanut Wonder. It is very low fat. Was really not very good unless mixed with some chocolate protein powder. May have worked in a brownie recipe:)

Shana, my abs have been sore but I think it is because of my allergies. I have been coughing and sneezing so hard that everything tightens up.

Shana: Well, the 3 day option is nice to use if you eat similar things from day to day and don't want to obsess about tracking calories on an ongoing basis. But the whole basis of the gizmo is balancing calories so if you don't want to think about that, then my advice is to skip it. I find that I am either feast or famine (literally). When I don't count, I over eat by quite a bit- it's like I'm in denial. When I am being careful and logging my food, I tend to under eat. This device is proving to me to eat a bit more (which if I would listen to my body darn it, I would already do this). Anyway, I'm hoping it helps me listen to my natural instincts a bit more and FOLLOW them. Ha!

Diane Sue: I saw that Peanut Wonder advertised somewhere and wondered. I am discovering that the real thing is the only way to go with peanut butter. :) I like your STS plan- I did plyo legs yesterday and liked it.

I am in a cooking mood today- made the breakfast cookies that someone posted on the Open Forum under breakfast ideas and had one as dessert. It was really good!

Diane Sue: I totally forgot that I also pre ordered Amy's 2 new workouts. Ha! That will be fun to try out. Thanks for reminding me. :)
