Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 2/11

Today I had a totally excellent workout. I worked my legs and even though I dread training my legs, this one turned out to be my favorite workouts. A long one, though. I started at 10 after 6 and didn't get done until 20 to 8. :eek:

1 minute rest between each exercise.

LEGS
Squats:
65# - 15/15 (warmup)
75# - 10
80# - 10
85# - 10
****Legs really felt these. Had some spasms there for a few. LOL!

Bulgarian Split Squats:
4 risers
65# - 10
70# - 9
75# - 8
****This exercise always kills me. Legs were burning big time.

Reverse Dumbbell Lunges:
30's - 10/9/8 reps

Elevated Deadlifts:
70# - 10
75# - 10
80# - 10
****I totally love this exercise.

CALVES:
Gym Style Calf Work

Then I hopped my treadmill and did Cardio Coach #1 in it's entirety. My HR was at 121 bpm even at the warmup. I love how weight training gets my HR up. I had a great workout even though my legs were rubber. Then I did the stretch from Gym Style Legs.

Cardio & Stretch stats:
39 minutes
24 seconds below zone
14 minutes in zone
25 minutes above zone
344 calories burned!!! :woohoo:


I am flying high today. Feeling awesome!!!!

Hope I can do my cardio tomorrow!
 
Good Morning Guys,

NO freaking workout for me this morning ARGH…………, I must’ve been dead tired. I got up at 4:15 hit the snooze, that’s all I remember. When I jumped up it was 10 to 7 argh……my work ends every morning at 7am. So had coffee made my meals and now out of a workout:eek:

Not looking at ALL like STS. Maybe I should start over. Yeah! This Sunday back to disk one.:rolleyes: Finish this week with WhatEver workouts I do.

Debbie: Good leg workout! Glad you're back in the game and feeling better. I used to dread legs but lately I've come to love it, I think because I feel like I'm seeing nice results from it lately. I should be since I'm working legs twice a week in this rotation! :eek:

Teddy: Somedays, you just need sleep- nothing wrong with that. I wonder if DH and I won't do week #1 of STS twice through just to get our bearings. Or not. :)

I did cardio today- Amy Bento's Kickbox Xtreme. It kicked my butt- loved it! I bought it for myself a month ago (for my birthday) and just tried it out. By the fifth combo, I was worn out- I was missing steps (and that is partially because it is a new workout for me) and partially because I was DONE! :eek: Burned 872 calories. Good stuff.

I finished my workout early this morning. I got up at 4:30 so I could get a good start before grandbaby got here. I did Maximum Intensity Cardio and repeated the intervals segment. I burned 735 calories. I may have burned more calories than that because I am not sure my HR monitor was working right. I was pouring sweat and really working on the hi/lo portion and when I hit 36 minutes I had 240 calories:confused: I added on to it to make my calories more what Cathe has for the workout. I then did STS abs segments med ball abs, pilates abs, yoga abs. I finished off with Tracey Staehle's Yoga Solutions post cardio segment to get a little more stretch in my lower body. Total calories burned was 929 calories 40% fat. I was in my high zone for 47 minutes.
Meals yesterday:
B- coffee w/ fat free creamer(this stuff ads up to an extra 80 calories a day:eek:) plain yogurt w/ Gold Standard Whey 1/2 scoop and sprinkled with back to nature granola
L- Muscle Chow Pear Walnut Salad w/ cranberry dressing, 96/4 ground beef patty
S- 1/2 a clean eating magazine frozen berry granola square
D-Oxygen Magazine Turkey Cutlets Dijonnaise 2 cutlets, green beans, 2 oz Tropicana Pure raspberry acai juice mixed with perrier water
S-1/2 turkey cutlet from dinner
1866 calories; 152 gm pro;35 gm fat; 177 gm carbs

Teddy, you probably needed the sleep. What STS disc were you on? Maybe you could just readjust your schedule. Although it sure don't hurt to start over:) I just moved my workouts around a little to catch up after being sick.

Morning Maniacs! I'm so lazy in the mornings the last couple weeks. I just want to hang around...lalalalalala. So, my workout today will be after work. I plan on CLX push circuit #2 and some cardio in there somewhere. Don't even ask about my ab work.:rolleyes:

Debbie- I need your energy! Wow! I think I have cabin fever and need to get out. Got that depressed thing going on.

Teddy- You've been sleeping in too! What's up with us?

Patti- Dang! You had a great workout too!

Diane Sue- You and your gourmet meals lately! You are really getting some yummy meals in. I also have that extra cream AND cocoa in my coffee. I have to have it. No question.:rolleyes:

I swear :eek:I CAN NOT and WILL NOT stomach another f$%%$$ EGG WHITE. I swear me :(have had it! I couldn’t finish my breakfast, had to throw eggs away.. I done with them FOREVER! Well not really but for now……..On my lunch today going to Giant Eagle to buy Multigrain Waffles or Wheat Waffles. If I eat another egg white I’m going to scream.:mad::eek:

Patti: You and hubby are going to love these workouts, If only I could’ve made it pass disk 3:rolleyes: Yesterday, I did preview disk 4.

Diane: I could adjust but better for me to start over. Heck only did 3 workouts:rolleyes:.

Teddy- I am the same way with chicken right now. I cannot even look at it! In fact the only meat I can eat lately is salmon. I am going to go buy some crab legs for a Valentines day treat for me and the hubster.

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Was trying to figure out what I am gonna do today cuz my rotation calls for cardio again and then chest work. The weather is so very nice, but I need to stay home and wait for flowers and packages to come. Life of the Queen..hmmmm. :p;) So I will get downstairs here soon and just do lowmax. My muscles are still tight around neck area. The massage I had yesterday was alittle on the painful side so I am gonna ice it more and drink more water. I still need to get outside today..guess I will sit out there and wait for everything to arrive. lol.

I get ya on the eggs! There are a few mornings I am eating them and almost gag cuz I am so tired of them at times. If the dogs beg enough, I will end up giving them some of them. lol.

Oh my! Me:) brought chicken today, I ate so much chicken breasts my real breasts has enlarged :p:D I cooked a piece this morning, in the GT Xpress looking for a different tastes, it only took 6 minutes to cook. After it cooked, I ended up putting AL sauce on top of the chicken ;) This is why I eat lots of Chili. Never get tired of it.:)

M2: Same as M1 without banana
M3: Chocolate Fudge BSN w/ 1/2 c. oats & 1 tbsp. Naturally More PB
M4: Chicken w/veggies; 1 tbsp. raw almonds; clementine
M5: Chocolate Pro Pudding w/ 1/4 c. oats
M6: Parmesan Crusted Talapia; salad (if I can stomach it, I'm so sick of salad); Zone bar
M7: 2 whole eggs, 1 egg white w/spinach soufle, 1 tbsp. parm cheese

1836 calories
55 g. fat - 27%
183 g. protein - 40%
150 g. carbs - 33%


I am very happy with the way my calories and macros are turning out. I'm not really even planning, I just know what I want to eat and it seems to be turning out ok. I'm eating about 100 calories more today because of this mornings workout.

Dallys, I made another yummy recipe for lunch today. I am enjoying some of these new recipes. I am having Muscle Chow Loaded Spinach salad. They say it is good for replenishing nutrients after a hard workout. Has spinach, salmon, blueberries, almonds, asparagus and honey mustard cooked into the asparagus which caramelizes and gives it a yummy flavor. I found a good low sodium honey mustard to use. Forgot to buy the bell pepper though.
 
It has been a busy morning at work----thank goodness it's a minimum day! Taking my DS to DMV to take permit test....and the fun begins.

Diane Sue: I just got my Muscle Chow book the other day- I've been enjoying flipping through it. That salad looks good.

M2: Salad w/ veggie patty, fat free feta, veggies and apple
M3: Greek yogurt w/ blueberries
M4: Salmon patties and butternut squash fries
M5: Strawberries and greek yogurt

I made a good zucchini lasagna last night- no noodles and you put cottage cheese in the blender instead of using ricotta. The zucchini serves as the noodle part- pretty good.

This sounds really good. I've never put salmon in my salad before. I'm not a huge fan of asparagus, but maybe caramelized in honey mustard... I love honey mustard.

You're gonna go crazy when he leaves in the car alone! At least I did with my kids. And I think you might be right about Suz in Mexico. I knew she was going pretty soon.

How did you make your butternut squash fries? I just had a neighbor bring me half a banana squash. Do you think I could use that? Or any suggestions on what to do with this thing?

Dallys...I know I will be a basket case! It will be hard, he's my only one. I really try to teach him to be independent (but know I will always be there for him) It will be me who has the hard time letting go! But that's all about being a mom, right? :)
