Today I did one of my Cardio Coach mixes. Had a great workout and my HRM worked well. The new batteries worked I guess.

It is freakin COLD here! Wow, only 35 degress. We got some light snow but it didn't stick.

Suz - Awesome workout yesterday. Dang girl, you are the energizer bunny! How can you work weights and then do an hour of cardio? CC #8 is a killer alone. Nice job. I hope you ate about 2500 calories yesterday! ;) I'm also glad your dad is ok. That is good news.

Char - Nice workout! And thanks for your kind words! I'm really feeling good about what I decided to do with my workouts. And I don't mean I'm going back to my measley 5 and 8# weights. Hell no. But I will try to keep good form and be a little safer with my training. It's not worth the pain and then worrying about having to stop working out for weeks on end.

Hermia - Sometimes yoga is all we need. I really should get back to doing yoga, I use to love it. It just seems there isn't enough time in a day, you know?

This morning, I had the worst CC workout EVER! I was only able to complete 40 minutes and I had to jump off my treadmill a few time to catch me breathe. I been eating really bad past few weeks. I need to get focused!

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Getting ready to do plyo x and mm abs. I was gonna do Imax 2 or Interval X, but I really want to work my legs alittle more and still get in a good cardio and plyo's does that for me. Later on today, I will go shopping with my daughter. It is my birthday.

Morning Maniacs! This morning I did 30 min. on the treadmill, followed by a butt workout as I feel I'm not getting enough and then I did the shoulder segment from TBS.

Butt Workout: 15 reps each

Leg hops with band-40 times
Reverse lunge w/valsides-15's
Romanian Deadlifts 15's
One legged bridge w/valsides-Ouchy!

Repeat circuit 3 times

I always do the same weight on this as I'm trying to build up to my body weight so I can do pullups.

Steady State Cardio on Elliptical: 45 minutes keeping HR between 140-145 - this is really difficult for me as I like to go all out all the time. But I know it's not good for me (or so I was told :rolleyes: ).

Debbie - Nice workout! I'm glad your HR monitor behaved. My new strap is messing up so I've been using DH's. No, I didn't eat near that many calories yesterday, but I'm doing better.

Teddygirl - Get focused and just try again. It happens to us all. I had the best ride of my entire season a week ago Saturday and probably the worst ride of my entire season this past Saturday. And my eating has been spot on - as far as healthy (well, except for on a cheat day when I down too many cookies!). At least you were on there - more than most of the population!!!
 
Dallys - Nice job! Your butt's gonna hurt! I love that feeling. Mine hasn't been sore lately even though I'm trying to work it. I think I might need some walking lunges to get it hurtin'. I think on Thursday I'll do some lying leg curls too. It's still flat and not so firm. :mad:

Today I did 30 minutes cardio fusion step only followed by IS Bootcamp Cardio only (20 second rest in between each blast) and 10 minutes B&G abs.

Debbie....this was my first time doing P90X+ Total body. When I started to get more serious about fitness and nutrition 2 years ago I started with P90x. I definetly got results, but Tony's not my favorite. 35 degress, too cold for me....that's why I live in Cali! About 65 today with sunshine!

Teddygirl...don't sweat it, we all have days like that!!!!

Dally's...nice butt workout! I will have to try that one!

Suz, how does Butts and Guts work for you? That one always gets me sore. My recent most killer leg/booty soreness, though, was from the shortest Rumble premix followed by Kickmax blast challenge.

Debbie, ugh, that is so true about not enough time in the day. I've taken to keeping a workout log for my reference, and it seems to me like I never get *everything* in that I want to.

This morning was Amy's In The Ring. It was one of the premixes doing combos 1,3,2,4 then med ball intervals 1-4, took about an hour. It went on to do combined combos, but I ran out of time. My carpal tunnel in my right arm is bugging me, I wake not being able to feel my hand.

I think butts and guts is tough, but the next day I never end up sore from it. Not sure why. I guess we all are different.
 
This has been a crazy morning. I got up and did my cardio first thing. Was out of protein powder so put on eggs to boil. My package just came though so now I have my protein powder and stuff. I started my workout with I Max 3 stopped at the stretch and added on Amy Bento's 10 min solution HotBody Bootcamp cardio and drills. I burned 530 calories dooing I Max3 and 193 calories doing Hot Body Bootcamp segments and finished with I Max stretch. Total cardio calories was 723. Then I took granddaughter to school, went to dd's house to get Olivia(the baby) before I took my other granddaughter to her school and Olivia was not dressed or ready, my grandson said I had to wait to take him to his school:0 (Didn't know I was taking him too) and their Dad was in the shower. I got everybody delivered in time though. Then had to pick up my other grandson from the doctors office. I did finally get back in there and do my weight work. Same as I did last week.

Looks like I have some reading to do:D I have to leave again here in a bit to do a store stop and pick up children. Made some brownies for the kids. Gosh, I hope they are gone before I am left alone with them:p I had some chicken and broccoli while baking them.

Diane Sue - Awesome workout. 40# on kickbacks??? Wow!!! Do you plan these all out the day before? I hope you don't end up with any brownies left. Those are my favs and I would eat them all! I would have definitely had some before picking up the grandkids. Sounds like you've already had a very busy day running them all around!
 
Hi there! lunch time here...eating salmon and laughing cow cheese wedge on wasa cracker and green beans and grapes. Been super good on my eating.:D Trying really hard. I don't want this time of year to beat me yet again!


Diane Sue- Hope you get that phone deal settled soon! My have you been busy today. I don't know how you do it all!

Suz- My butt feels like it's not going to be sore! I can tell already. Should have done it a 4th time I think. Come on, you can get up 3 hrs early to do butts and gutts, can't you? I should get that one out actually. I know it never made me sore though. It's the weird odd unexpected things that make me sore anymore. Tony's leg workouts make me sore come to think of it. Maybe I'll go do plyo legs...I think that one made me sore...hmmm.

Hermia- I never have enough time to do all I want either! I want to do yoga and lifting and cardio and extra leg work, etc. So little time.

Linda- That carpel tunnel doesn't sound good. Have you had it looked at?

Sonya- Nice mix you did this morning! Have fun with your errands.

Dallys - I saw a doctor years ago and I wear a brace to bed each night, but certain workouts make it act up more than others. Don't know that I am ready for surgery:eek:.
 
Linda- Yeah, I hear ya. Surgery does not sound fun. To bad it just won't go away.:( My tennis elbow is finally not bothering me anymore. It's one of those things that also never goes away. I'm just hoping it won't come back for a loooooooooooooog time!
