Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 10/22

Suz - Yes, I guess I am a Tony hater. LOL! It's like he's on speed or something. LOL!

Diane Sue - I'll keep Rumble in mind. It sounds like a good workout. I may try a kickboxing one here soon just to see if I'm just not liking cardio or if I'm just sick of my TM. Funny on Grace scaring you. She scares me just with her normal voice!

Hey Crazies! This morning I did RCR workout-B2 followed by Slim and Limber.

No time for personals AGAIN! I've got to shower and then do a CostcoXtotheMax workout. Eating today has gone well so I'm in a good mood. Funny how that affects my day.

Hey Maniacs! It's already 1:00 and this is the first break I had all day.

Debbie--The presentation went great, thanks! Your workouts just blow me away! Very impressive. Gives me something to apsire too! I'm with you, not a big Tony fan! But have to say P90X does produce results!

Suz--SO NOT FAIR that you can eat cookies and cupcakes and look the way you do. I read that as I'm eating my tuna (from the can) 6 whole grain crackers and 12 grapes!

Diane Sue--I think you user name should be Cardio Queen:)

Today is upper body. Think I am going to do all upper body parts using 4DS!

Sonya - Don't be fooled. I totally trade off though. I'm really messed up about eating. I'm a big food replacer. If I eat stuff like that I don't eat anything else. I eat waaaay too few calories so I can get away with stuff like that. Like last night we went to the Olive Garden and I had soup, salad and bread and I had 3 bites of my soup and gave the rest to DH, one bowl of salad, almost 2 breadsticks and that was it. Then I went home and had a cupcake. I hadn't eaten anything all afternoon (and for lunch I had one of those tuna snack packs) and was starving by dinner. See why I'm so messed up?!

Dallys - Way to go girl!

Suz - it usually doesn't bother me but last night I wore the wrong combo of things but it wasn't bad enough to get off the bike and change! I'm going to order Harlot Baggies - they make some that are supposed to be good for spinning and their shorts don't have the diaper look  Have you ever tried them? I'm anxious to give them a go.

Shana - I haven't tried them. Mine are all those silly little tight short shorts since I cycle outside so much and ride with my girlfriends and other cyclists a lot. They'd make fun of me if I wore baggy shorts. Since I have SO MANY shorts I just use them on the trainer too.

Okay you guys, I just read yet another article that has me scratching my head. It said that walking lunges suck. It's on the Figure Athlete site and here's the link: http://www.figureathlete.com/free_o...petition/seven_truths_thatll_set_you_free&cr=

It's on page 4. It says it's a near worthless movement. Oh great! I've been doing tons of them. So now I'm going to start doing BSS.

Off to do CC#8.

Got my cholesterol results back and I'm down from 200 (couple years ago) to 176... Heee Hawww. All the other numbers are good too. I was worried as my sisters is high and she's on meds for it.

Thanks for all you that thought Rob was a cutie! For those that didn't know about him, Dh and I rescued him after his sibling kept kicking him out of the nest. He was still all pink with a few feathers and healthy, so we couldn't just sit and watch the bee's and ants kill him. So, we took him in and feed him for about 5 weeks. The picture is the day we let him go. He stayed around for 3 weeks after that. He would fly to us for food, land on my dog, come right in the house, etc. This lack of being wild was not a good sign and might have been his demise. One day I just came home and he was nowhere to be found. I hope he made it out in the big world. Maybe I'll see him next year.:)

Suz - it usually doesn't bother me but last night I wore the wrong combo of things but it wasn't bad enough to get off the bike and change! Shana, those Harlot shorts look cute, haven't tried that brand yet. As a mountain biker, I can totally get into the baggie shorts look though;). BUT, I always end up cutting out the padding that comes with them (as they seem to always suck) and wear my pearl Izumi or sugoi or voler padded shorts underneath. I have some SheBeest baggie shorts http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodSB_2564.html and the chamois (which is removable) that comes with those is good and not super thick, might work for spinning. Oh, and don't forget, never EVER wear your undies under any of these biking shorts, major irritation factor. But, I'm sure you know that.

Dallys - I love that site - so much great stuff! I've never had these - they aren't too baggie, are they? I just cannot stand the super padded tight shorts though so would rather a little baggie to those horrid things! Just not comfy! And yes, I know no undies under :) but thanks anyway! Somebody told me that as soon as I started looking at them.

Suz - interesting article. I love that site. It never felt like I was working my butt anyway when I do those - more hams and quads. Oh well - I don't do them a lot. Still want a leg press, and they say on that site - and lots of others - that they are useless. Hmmm - so many different ideas. But did you see that girl before and after 7 weeks?? Wow.

Shana- Nope, the ones I have aren't to baggie. I hated walking around with the baboon butt shorts too, but I'm used to it now. There are plenty of occasions though where I want to be more covered up and wear my baggie shorts. But, like Suz says. If you are with a bunch of other riders, you'll fit right in with the baboon butt look.;)

I'm off to read that article! Gosh, ya never know what to believe anymore.

Finished CC8. Tough.

Sonya - GREAT workout!

Glad you guys liked the article. I found it pretty interesting. I'm glad Diane Sue pointed me to that site. I'm learning so much!

Shana - I forgot - I did get a really cute pair of Pearl Izumi mountain bike shorts this summer at Sierra Trading Post that weren't baggy at all. They're like normal shorts. I love 'em.

Wow looks like I missed a lot of fun today :D

Actually.. there were 4 pages when I opened the thread.. went through all four.. then signed in to reply and it went to only 2 pages.. hmm..

Anyway great workouts ladies!!

I would go back and try Cathe kickboxing Debbie.. I recenly pulled out KPC and realizied how much more i like it now than when I got it!

..Have you tried Janis Saffell kickboxing dvd's??
I like her Kick-It video.. Strike Zone is OK too.. she hasn't come out with anything new in the past few years but those two are pretty good!

I had an off day today and yesterday.. killed my a$$ and back monday with some heavy training and did the rest the day before.. I might do some totaly body workouts for a couple weeks to lean out a couple more lbs for some photoshoots I want to do this fall..

See you at check-in tomorrow!

Suz, I skimmed through that article about walking lunges being nearly worthless. Sigh...it seems like there's a lot of conflicting info out there! I remember reading on yayas a while ago that a lot of people had heard the opposite, that walking lunges were sheer awesomeness.

Tonight's workout was High Step Challenge. I like that one. Good music.
