Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 10/16

Today I had an excellent shoulder workout. Not sure what was different then the last few times, but I really felt it.

1 minute rest between each set.

SHOULDERS
Barbell Upright Rows:
65# - 5/5/5 (up 3#)
57# - 12/12 (up 2#)
47# - 15 (up 2#)
***I changed the rep counts on this one. I was suppose to do 1 set of 12 and 3 sets of 15.

Barbell Overhead Press:
67# - 5/5 (same as last week)
57# - 12/12 (up 2#)
45# - 15 (same as last week)
***This exercise just kills me. Especially the higher reps.

Lateral Raise:
25's - 5/5 (up 3#)
20's - 12 (same as last week)
17's - 15 (same as last week)
***I know I said I wasn't going any higher then 22's for this but I tried it at 25's and it felt great. By the last set I was fried!

Bent Over Lateral Raise:
22's - 15/15 (same weight as last week but added 3 more reps with each set)

Cardio was Cardio Coach #4 challenge 1 and 3. HRM is still stupid.

Cardio only stats:
30 minutes
27 minutes in zone
189 calories burned
1.9 miles travelled

That is all...

LOL Teddygirl.. I actually began writing that BEFORE Toasty posted her workout.. we posted at about the same time ;)

Morning Crazies! This morning I did 30 min. on the treadmill and then Ho' Ala Ki Keno for a stretch. Felt like I needed more. Luckily, I plan on a bike ride later today...can't wait! I think it's been over a week now.

So, still only 2 great workouts...LOL...kidding Teddy and pebbles!;):p

Did Amy's ITR this morning all the way through, the cardio part was about an 1 hr 5 minutes. Combo 4 still confuses me :p! But DH was still asleep this morning so I had to be quiet...good news is that he didn't hear a thing! On step workouts he hears my feet pounding the step :p:D!

DianeSue - Do you wear weighted gloves for ITR? Was thinking about trying it to up the intensity. I've used them with Cathe, but Amy's KB are a lot different.

Teddygirl - I have 4 more weeks of this rotation to go. I figured it out on my calander and I was really hoping I'd be able to take the week of Thanksgiving off but it looks like I'll be one week ahead so I may just do the last 4 weeks as a 5 weeks session. Then I'll take the entire week of Thanksgiving off.

Nice workouts everyone!

I slept a little later because there is no school today. I started my workout this morning with with Kelley's Step Bx2 stopping after the abs, then I did Rumble skipping the w/up and stopping at the bag work. I then did all of the back segments from 4Day Split, power ninty X abs/core+ and finished with 4day split stretch from both HIS and LIS.

Medium calorie day

M4: Turkey patty on 1 slice whole wheat bread; 1 tbsp. raw almonds

M6: 6 oz. Chicken w/Shake & bake in salad w/light Honey mustard dressing
M7: 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites w/ 1/4 c. cheddar cheese omlette

57 g. fat - 26%
193 g. protein - 40%
168 g. carbs - 35%

I have a Betty Crocker Warm Delights sitting in my cabinet at home. It's calling me name! HELP!

Diane Sue - Nice mix in the workout! :)

I forgot to mention calories earlier. When I set my own zone this morning I don't think I got it right. I did Step Box and burned 436 calories. I went back and reset my own zone. Then did the Rumble, weights and stretch and burned 568 calories. Total calories was 1004 and 55% fat

Linda, I have done In the Ring with weighted gloves but most of the time I just use a 10# medicine ball for the med ball portions.

Debbie, I don't think I could take a break during the holidays. I always think I will not eat to much and I do. I do best if the meal is at someone elses house so I don't get stuck with tons of leftovers "like pies" Generally if anything I try to kick it up a bit:) You are so good at being strict with your diet and workout plan. I have been trying to follow this recipes in this Muscle Chow book and last night I had a poptart calling my name:rolleyes: I made one of the protein mousse recipes but it said ro refrigerate for 4 hours. Not much of an excuse:eek:

I will probably let myself have a cheat week but not let it get out of hand. When I take my week off I tend to do that, so my body can relax and enjoy real food just to change it up. It's hard to eat clean constantly so I use my week off as a leisure week.

So did you have that poptart? LOL!

Hey you guys,;)

I am freaking pooped, I worked today:confused:Plus, I've got a nice DOMS in me upper body. I'm going home and take me a nice hot bubble bath and in the bed I go. TV time:cool:

Debbie: Ms Betty won't hurt you, go for it. Your metabolism will take care of it:eek:

I'm starting P90X this Sunday, excited about it too:p I need a change of paces. I checked out Wal-Mart, they have a door gym $25.77 I'm going to run and get it this weekend. The one I have needs to be thrown away, it has started to unravel. Enough small talk I will ttyg tomorrow. Nice workouts everyone ;););););););):p

Diane: I like your pictures, you are one sexy mama, that blue top looks good on you, really compliement your complexion;) All right I'm gone:D

Well Peeps, no workout for me today. Since I'm doing P90X and it's YogaX day and we all KNOW how much I HATE that workout, I skipped it. I know, I know. I am going to do cardio on the YogaX days but I can't do cardio until Monday b/c of my hair (ah, the price we pay for beauty!) so I have to just sit around until tomorrow which is leg day. And I'm doing my own leg day and it will ROCK! I'm gonna work 'em hard! Maybe tonight I should do Ab RipperX?

I LOVE my hair! You can check it out in my picturetrail album in the Dogs, hair, etc. album. I don't have a front shot yet but I will. I think it's straighter today than yesterday. What a difference! I can't stop touching it. And it moves! My hair has never moved like that. I'm so happy. :)

Teddygirl - I'm so happy you're starting P90X. Yay!!!

My eating sucks today. I thought I would try to get a few more calories so I went to McDonald's and got a small chocolate shake (which I didn't finish) and then I was going to come back and eat one of those tuna snack pack things with crackers but I was too full. Now it's 3:30 and we're going out for Mexican where I'll have a chicken soft taco and some chips with bean dip and salsa so I don't want to eat too much or I'll be full. Dang it! I think I'll have a banana and a pear. I suck!

Debbie, I think everyone needs a break to eat some of the things that they enjoy. It probably does the body good too. Yes I ate that darn poptart. Normally I keep them here for the grandchildren and pick flavors I don't really care for. One of the children chose smore's poptarts and I was in a chocolate mood. That was it LOL

Suz, your hair looks nice. It looks like it is smooth and soft too:) I bet you are pleased. I don't think you would sweat to much doing Ab RipperX. YogaX isn't so bad if you shorten it. It is good for the flexibility:) I always felt that 45 minutes of almost all the same thing with little add ons was way boring. You know if you put in CardioX and do just the yoga portion it is only 10 minutes?

Teddy, thanks on the pictures:D Haven't done P90X in awhile. It is a nice change once in awhile.
