Hello Peeps!

It snowed overnight! I can't believe it snowed already. Why oh why? I was in meetings all day yesterday. They ended the day at 2:30pm with make-your-own brownie sundaes which I DIDN'T HAVE! I left. Yay me! Oh, but I did meet a girlfriend at Chili's for a margarita at 4:30. :p

I went and bought 2 new coats this morning. I looked all last year and never found what I wanted and this morning lo and behold I found 2! So of course I had to buy them both, right? Now I'm all set.

I'm getting ready to do Cardio Coach #8 (I cannot tell a lie) and then legs. My legs will be quite fried after that I'm sure. I'm thinking about doing one body part a day. What do you guys think of that? I think that way I'll really get to work that muscle. But I don't know if that will be enough for me. It's because I love cardio so much and I really want to do cardio almost every day but I want to have time to do weights too. Any thoughts?

This morning I did Amy's ITR through to the 4th interval. I did manage to work up a sweat and get to breathing heavy so I am a lot happier now with this workout.:D Would of been nicer if I could have turned it up louder but DH was still in bed. I guess the first time I did this workout it was the learning curve that was throwing me off.

This mornings workout was Amy Bento's Rumble skipping the stretch, Amy's Hi/Lo Ko Ko premix (no w/up and stoppimg after the abs) then Amy's 10 min solution sculpt, tone, and reshape abs segment, finishing with Tracey Staehle's Parts dvd yoga and stretch segment. Calories burned today was 849. I really feel like either the HR monitor batteries are running down or my heart is getting stronger. I burned almost 100 calories less today doing Rumble than I have been doing. I just hate to send my HR monitor in(it is a polar F11. It has not given me a low battery indicator.

Linda, I knew once you did In the Ring a couple of times it would get better. You just figure out how to get that intensity in there:D I did horrible on Rumble today. Was not happy with my calorie burns or HR. I know I have done better so must just be an off day.

Suz, you can keep the snow up there LOL. I am not ready to run around in that. Well, I think I would rather have the margarita than a make your own brownie sundae LOL I have been looking at coats. Been wearing the same leather coats for years. I would like a peacoat. You know that is one place that I do not pay a lot of attention to styles because I don't wear onevery often here. Cardio coach #8 hmmm LOl. It is a good one. No reason you can't keep doing the one you enjoy most:)

Debbie, nice workout as usual. I hope that you are enjoying your weekend. I saw a woman on her motorcycle yesterday with pink flames on it and a pink bandana on her head( no helmet, I could get preachy on helmets especially after Bill's accident which left gooves in the helmet visor) He keeps it as a reminder. Anyway I thought it was pretty cool looking.

Diane Sue - Nice workout! Yes, I'm pretty pleased with my coat purchases. :) I heard that margaritas are one of the higher calorie drinks. But I sure love 'em!

Why do these HR monitors give us all such fits??? Darn things!

Hi Maniacs

It's a quiet SAturday around here.

Diana Sue, I did Rumble today too! It's a Short one, I don't have the bag so I skipped that part. I haven't done kickBoxing in a while, so then I pulled out Turbo Jam Cardio Party 2 and did 40 minutes of that. Was a fun workout for a Saturday.

1/2 with weighted gloves and a calorie burn of 450 today. My HR moniter said my heart average was 150's, it's usually 160's 170's as average for any step, which is why I think I get the big calorie burns there.

SuzMax, can't believe you had snow. That scary soon. It was 75 here but that was just for the weekend, we will be back down in the 50's soon. My tomatoes are getting frostbitten at nights.

Debbie, puke status to say the least:p

OK I'll check in tomorrow, will probably be a circuit workout.

Amber

I also did Amy's Step Challenge 3 Abs#1. Somehow I missed putting that down earlier.

Amber, you can do the heavy bag portion of rumble without the bag and wear your weighted gloves. I get my HR up more on that portion than on the first part. I think it is around 30 minutes without the bag and somewhere close to that for the bag segments. Sounds like you made it a fun workout:) I only burned 432 calories today doing the whole workout. I did change the settings from my own zone to automatic which says everyone so that may have made a difference. I went back and set it for finding my own zone when I started in on the Hi/Lo Ko premix.

Suz, most of the sweet mixed drinks have a lot of calories:) That is hy they taste so good. DH says he doesn't like those HR monitors because I get mad at it and I will be in there trying to jump harder and move more to get my HR up. He says I am probably hurting myself:)

Lookie who's still up! I ended up doing my leg workout late. I did CC8 about noon or so and then took a shower and DH and went to eat and went to Sam's so I put off my leg workout until late but wanted to be sure to get it done. I did:

Leg press: 3 sets of 20 reps on Bowflex Revolution
Calf extensions: 3 sets of 20 on Bowflex Revolution
Leg extentsions: 3 sets of 20 on Bowflex Revolution
Squats on Smith machine: 3 sets of 20
Walking lunges: 3 sets of 20 w/only 15# in each hand
I WANT TO BUILD A BUTT!!!

Triceps pushdowns: 3 sets of 15
Triceps overhead presses: 2 sets of 15 with one dumbell and then last set of 15 with one dumbell per arm
Triceps dips: 3 sets of 20

Abs: Not sure what they're called but when you're sitting on the bench and bring your legs in to your chest and back out - 3 sets of 20. I haven't worked my abs in forever. They're flat with some definition but I want more definition now.

Amber - Glad you got a nice workout in. You've been working so hard.

Diane Sue - Yeah, your HR monitor's probably workign but just not showing you it is so you're probably working way too hard!
