HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!

Is anyone out there superstitious? Does anyone have a Friday the 13th bad luck story they want to share?

Aside from living on ELM Street, I got chicken pox on Friday the 13th when I was 9 years old. Which wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have a CAST on my broken arm at the time.....

I had my third child on Friday the Thirteenth of June, 1997 and when he was little we called him Damien because he was a little devil! But I am not superstitious. I have deleted those emails that say if you don't send them on doom will be on you and you may die, but so far, I have managed to survive!!!!! Black cats, walking under ladders elicit no fear and broken mirrors and spilled salt are just one more thing to clean up. I do keep a voodoo doll of my husband to poke every now and again, when he gets on my nerves, just in case. :D

Naw, I am not superstitious though. We have black cats everywhere where I live crossing my path left and right, and no I do not live in Salem. LOL!

Driving to work this morning, the highway going the opposite direction to me was FILLED with bikers. We have a tradition here that every Friday the 13th, bikers gather in a town on Lake Erie called Port Dover. Thousands of them. Not bike gangs, bikers. It's really weird to see. And this is the only Friday the 13th this year!
 
I was in a nasty car accident on Friday the 13th about 17 years ago. I was crossing a major road on a green light & someone ran the red light & slammed right into my car. The one thing I'll never forget is she actually had the nerve to honk at me before impact. What was that about?

But in some ways it was a lucky day. She was going over 60 mph & she hit my front left fender. I spun around a few times & ended up facing the wrong way in the left lane, but I had no injuries whatsoever (other than a minor case of whiplash). If she'd hit my drivers side door I probably wouldn't be here typing away today.
 
Happy Friday the 13th. My B-day is July 13th, so when it falls on a Friday I try to make it an extra special day! I don't know if I was born on a Friday though. Have to check that out and see.
 
I am not superstisious but this day is not going well! I had an employee call in sick! Friday is very busy and that ruins my whole day:) Of course this has been a stress week all around really.

So far today has been the BEST day for me!!!! I slept well last night. I did HSTA this morning bright & early. I have been in the best mood, and I don't exactly know why!! (And it's not what some of you may be thinking.......DH didn't get home until late last night; I was already asleep!:7 ) I am thinking of buying a lotto ticket today, because I just have this great feeling!!!:D
 
OH, wow! I didn't even realize it was Fri. the 13th today. :)

No bad luck stories here though. :)

I'm having a nice day off today. I just came back from the dentist and all is well. I also did Muscle Max this morning and feel great!

I was also born on a Friday the 13th many moons ago, and I also had my 3rd son on Friday the 13th in Dec. of '96 so I think it is a very good day. While I wasn't married on a Friday our anniversary is on the 13th of Jan. so as you see I have no problems with the number 13 or Friday the 13ths.:D
 
I'm another one who is not superstitious.

My brother's birthday is today and he was born on a Friday. His first name is also Jason, he was born before the movies came out.
 
Well, let's see....so far today, my dishwasher has gone out, the light fixture dh just installed isn't gonna work cause it's not bright enough for the bathroom, i blew up the vaccuum and bf's about to break up with her fiance! not really the greatest day.

Anyone else ever hear that if you were born on a Friday, not necessarily the 13th, Friday the 13th will be a good day for? It's been true so far for me lol.
