Happy five-year anniversary to me!

OMG Marie congratulations on your excellent hard work! Both my parents were alcoholics and I've seen first-hand what a very difficult struggle it can be to take that huge step and then to maintain recovery. You've overcome so many obstacles and you deserve all the cyber-hugs we're sending you! This is a great success story, and a really inspiring way to start a new week!
 
Marie! I had no idea when I met you what kind of life you had left behind. You are a classy, articulate, intelligent and beautiful woman. Congratulations on how far you've come with your life. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Once again, ladies, thank you very much! I really appreciate the well-wishes of those who responded. I'm a really private person so it was hard to post that here. :) But they tell us we should try to give it back when possible, so maybe my story can help someone else.
