Hairspray help

I got a new haircut yesterday. It now looks like I have a hairstyle, which is a first for me in a long time! My 12-year old DS looked at me and said "Wow, Mom! You look good!" Any time I get a reaction like that is a good thing :)

So here's my question: I need to use hairspray to maintain my new look, but I hate using that stuff in my house. I feel like I'm leaving a film of it all around my bathroom sink and floor. Does anyone have any good ideas for using hairspray without messing up your house too much?
 
I hate that too. I go into a carpeted area when I'm not too rushed.

And AWESOME on the compliments!!!
 
Step into your shower to use it. That way, the extra spray hits your tile (or whatever) that is getting "washed off" everyday. I don't find that there's much of a residue left to clean when I do clean my shower.
That's my trick! :)

Very good idea!! I don't like the pump style, it sprays on too heavy for me. I love Dove and Pantene but usually end up buying Suave because I'm cheap. :eek: Enjoy your new do!! :)
