Gym Style or Slow and Heavy?

Hi,

I am trying to decide which series to order, Gym Style or Slow and Heavy?
I currently have 11 of Cathe's DVD's and use her workouts exclusively. I workout 5 days per week doing straight cardio (IM2, KPC, IM3, LM) 2 days, overall muscle conditioning (MM, ME, PH) 2 days and one day of circuit (BC, HSC, DM) I also have BG which I incorporate once a week as well (I love it!)

My goal is to create more muscle definition and it seem that Gym Style or Slow and Heavy would be the thing to do it.

Does anyone have any preference on which series I should choose? I appreciate any help you can offer. :)

Thank you!
Rhonda

If you're going for muscle definition, I would go with Gym Styles. If you're going for muscle mass, I would go with Slow & Heavy. These are my two favorite series.

Rhonda-
I say that GS is more versatile. SH is usually used for a few weeks then you move off it and come back if you want. Cathe intro on SH even talks about the amount of total focus this one takes. Each body part is worked SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW & HEAVY and runs 25-35 minutes per part. Alot depends on your workout personality.... The only way I have patience for it is doing it as 1 body part a day. Its a great series tho- I just have a "lets get going" mentality!
GS I love because if I want to go ultra heavy i just dont do as many reps.
Good Luck deciding!

Rhonda-

I have both series but I use GS more often than the SH. I usually use SH for 2 or 3 weeks and then go back to GS for a month or so. I like the pace in the GS series and the combination of doing back, shoulders and biceps in one session and chest and triceps in another session. I also tend to miss my shoulders when doing SH because that is included with the leg portion. Good luck in making a decision.

I have both and love both.
My only input is that the GS chest and triceps couples both of my hardest body parts into one day, so there's a real dread factor for me on that one....

Good luck!

Thank you so much everyone for the input, I really appreciate the help. I'm thinking I may go ahead and order GS! We'll just call it an early Christmas present to myself.... ;)
