Guidlines for Creating Rotations?

I was wondering if there were any guidelines I could follow in creating my rotations with the DVD's I have. For example: Monday: Upper body, cardio Tuesday: Lower body ETC.... I would like to gain some definition in my arms and slim my hips, thighs and belly. Would like to lose about 10- 15 pounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
