Dear Sherry, I feel like such an ass. I just posted about my silly plantar facsiitis like it was the end of the world then I read your post. My dear, Sherry, you are one of the kindest and most positive ladies I know. Please put up a huge fight! It is great news that your lymph nodes are not affected. You are in my prayers and I love you very much! Call upon me in any way. I am only an hour and a half away! Keep that lovely chin up! And, thank you, Sherry, for showing me how unimportant a few aches and pains are. You can beat this and I will aid you in any way I can!

Many blessings to you Sherry! You are in my thoughts and prayers!
Bobbi

Dear Sherry,
What a horrible thing to have happen to you. Please know that you're in my prayers today and for a long time to come. Know that more people are concerned for you than you can imagine and let that lift you up when you feel bleak. Use this forum as one source of strength. Keep us posted.
Warm wishes,
Valerie

Dear Sherry,

I'm sorry that you have to go through this! May you be well and have full recovery from all of it!

Sherry, from 1994-99 I was incredibly sick with reoccurant breast infections, lumpiness, etc. Much was associated to fibrocystic breast disease. I became very depressed, until a friend of mine asked me if I had thanked and praised the Lord for giving me this. I was almost mad when she asked me this. I only asked for it to be taken away. But, I began to think about this and do it. The Lord has shown me so many incredible things through my road to recovery. Out of this came a desire to get back in shape and eat healthy. I now have to eat incredibly clean or else my symptoms return immediately. Sometimes I feel this is a "major pain" and other times I realize that if I hadn't got this condition, I wouldn't have had what it takes to make the change in my diet and exercise. Most importantly by thanking God for allowing me to go through this, my attitude has completely turned around. I encourage you to ask God what he wants to teach you through this experience and how you can help others as a result. Our prayers will be continually with you and please keep us posted.

(A really good site regarding the complete healing of cancers through primarily diet is www.hacres.com).

Oh Sherry, I'm sorry!! I know this must be extremely difficult, to say the least. Please know that I will keep you in prayer!

For what it's worth, my mom went through breast cancer twice before she was 30. She's now 54 and doing just wonderfully!

"I wish for you..."
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart
Gentle hugs when spirits sag,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Faith so that you can believe,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
And love to complete your life.
God Bless you!

I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way....
His love is always with you
His promises are true
No matter what the tribulation
You know He will see us through
So, when the road you're traveling on
Seems difficult at best
Give your problems to the Lord
And God will do the rest.

Prayer During Breast Cancer

Lord, I have just received the diagnosis of breast cancer.
Still my anxious heart as I seek to understand why.
Teach me to transform my suffering into growth,
my great fear of tomorrow into faith in your presence,
my tears into understanding,
my discouragement into courage,
my anger into forgiveness,
my bitterness into acceptance,
my experience with cancer into my testimony,
my crisis into a platform on which I can learn to help others.
God grant that one day I can embrace this time
as my friend, and not as my enemy.

I think Psalms 23 & 27 are good too.

There are new breast cancer treatments out there now and significant advances are being made. I saw a report on ABC News World News Tonight last week about encouraging breast cancer research & treatments. I'll see if I can find it on their website.

You're in my prayers.

Martina

Sherry, my thoughts are with you. Hang tough, you WILL get through this and we're all here to help you if you need us.

I am so sorry to hear this. My sister in law went through this 4 years ago at the age of 36. She did chemo and radiation and is doing great now. It is a really tough thing and will be hard at times, but just know there are so many people here behind you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
