Good Morning All

I hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving Day and are well digested by now :7 The gym was packed on Thanksgiving morning with all those getting their last workout in before the feast. Yesterday was once again packed with those trying to exercise off their third helping of pie :)

Did you all take advantage of those super duper early hour shopping deals? I chose to sleep in until just before my step class and then enjoyed sweating it out with the regulars as well as some out of town visitors. We had a lot of fun. I wish you could have joined us.

Well, I'm going to finish my cup of coffee and take on the day.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Cathe

We sooo wish we could have joined you in those classes! I did B&G's for my Turkey Day workout and I'm feeling it GOOD today! Enjoy that cup of coffee and have a great day!

Good morning Cathe!! I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your splendid new workouts!! I can't get enough of them and they are taking me to a new fitness level. I'm not brave enough to tackle the stores on Black Friday so yesterday I went for a 14 mile run. I'm in training for the PF Chang's Marathon in Phoenix next Jan. Today was Butts & Guts and Cardio fusion.
Thank you again for all that you are...I am sincerely appreciative!

Hi Cathe, I had a great Thanksgiving day, started the day with Butts and Guts and still have DOMS today. I didn't go shopping the next day either, don't like all those crowds, it can get pretty hectic I hear. Have a great weekend.:)

Great "early bird" workout Debbie, LOL! When I got on the floor for reverse crunches in my class yesterday I struggled to get my hips up....it felt like I had an entire butterball in my belly holding me down. Nice to hear from you:)

Hi Cathe,

I just wanted to say thank you not just for the fabulous workouts but also for the fantastic customer service at SNM! I had a problem with my original shipment and wasn't sure where to turn, so I e-mailed SNM and they took care of it. Just like that. I was thrilled and pleasantly surprised. They were so calm and patient in the midst of everything else that was going on. Just thought I'd let you know. :)

I was definitely with you in spirit as I did Low Impact Circuit before leaving for my mom's house on Thanksgiving. The weather has been beautiful so I ran off the pie outside yesterday. :D

DH woke up early yesterday and braved the crowds, while the kids and I slept in. :)

Wow Shelly.....a 14 mile run???? High fives to you! That sure does beat a holiday shopping workout!!!! Good luck with your marathon. I just took a peek at your avatar picture and you are incredibly fit. How inspiring! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Phyllis! Yes, we enjoyed a feast here at home. I really can't say that I have a favorite (well maybe sweet potatoes) since I love so many things that make up a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. As much as Turkey is the highlight feature of this meal, to me it pales in comparison to all the other delicious morsels on my plate.

What's your favorite food?

Good morning back at ya, Cathe,

Another one here thankful for the new workouts that helped make room for the Thanksgiving feast that followed.

Shopping on black Friday?!!? I'd rather do BM#2 twice. No, make that 3 times. I spent my shopping hours on-line and can't wait for the packages to arrive.

Any thoughts/news on a Roadtrip? That would make a great "gift" under my tree.

Good Morning, Cathe!!!

Cathe:

Good morning! :) I am so glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. The Body Max 2 scrambled eggs premix definitely scrambled my eggs Thanksgiving morning. Mercy! The premixes on these new DVDs are outstanding! :) Well done! :) It is time for damage control. I need to double knot my laces and figure out which Drill Max premix will help me start burning off the mashed potatoes and pumpkin cheesecake. The celebration food tasted good at the time, but I feel heavy now and have no energy. :-( The scale was not nice to me this morning either. :-( I am thankful to have these new workouts so I can get back on track this morning! :)

Blessings,
Heather B.

Smart way to avoid the crowds Robin! I'll be doing a good amount of that too.

I haven't figured out a date for the roadtrip yet but thanks for asking. Seeing/meeting all of you will definitely be a great gift to me.

My kids are pulling at my elbow for some playtime. Time to go to the playground, yippee!

hi cathe, hope you indulged and enjoyed your holiday,

my thanksgiving was yesterday(dad got home from chemo last thanksgiving night) and yes i ate alot of sinful desserts(2 slices of pumpkin cheesecake and 1 healthy slice of pumpkin pie) on top of turkey, hams, potatoes, stuffing, green beans and homeade cranberry sauce. MMMMMMM!!!!

i avoid the crowds this time of year. sure some of the sales are just a steal but its not worth the aggravation in this area. alot of ppl got hurt around here just trying to get into best buy. not for me LOL. i started weeks ago with shopping and just about done. a few more things for viola(the cutest pair of build a bear kitty slippers at payless that she really wants and some disney characters sheet set preferbly CARS), dh and his brother's dvds are on pre-order, and of course cash for the sibilings. dh wanted to start extra early so we can have a jump start paying off those credit cards LOL.

have a great day cathe!!!

I got up yesterday and did 25 minutes of LIC before my back decided it didn't want to play anymore, and TOING! out went my lower back. I felt it go and thought, "Oh, crud!" (those weren't my exact thoughts, but you get the idea). This has happened before (I have 3 chipped vertebrae in my lower back) and has left me in excruciating pain, so I immediately called my chiropractor to try and head off any long-standing issues. The good news is: My core muscles have gotten so strong from all the core work I've been doing for the past couple of months that I avoided any serious complications with my spine. My muscles were able to hold my spine relatively in place so I didn't suffer any serious injury. Still, I'm hurting and will have to take a few days off while my muscles heal from the spasms. I can't wait until I can get back to my workouts, though! :) But for now, I'm just going to take it easy, catch up on my reading and get through some of the episodes of "Heroes" on Tivo.

RE: Good Morning, Cathe!!!

Hi Heather,

Goodness, we think alike! I did the Scrambled Eggs premix on the Body Max 2 dvd. I'm off to do Butts and Guts now...don't know which premix yet.

Have a great day,

Beth

Hi Cathe-

I'm glad you and your family had a lovely turkey day.

Our day was nice. I did LIC in the am and burned almost 800 calories, so I enjoyed dinner guilt free.;-)

I did try to go to Best Buy before work Friday morning to get a Nintendo DS for my daughter but the line was around the corner at 5:15am so I just went to work. Luckily I had a family who went out later in the day and were able to get it at the sale price. I found it scary how many people get up so early to shop.x( I don't think I could.

Thanks for the new workouts. They are awesome. I think LIC is my fav.;-)

Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Jenn:)

Hey, Cathe!! I little late here with my comments, but the day of Thanksgiving I did Rythmic Step and then the following day (today) I did Step, Jump and Pump, but without the barbells, I don't have those yet..;) I used my dumbells instead and modified the exercises.

Anyway, I baked two custards flans, one coconut and the other one pumpkin.. Unfortunately, I have leftovers in the fridge... I made them low fat, but still, gotta be careful..;-)

What did you overeat on, if any? I didn't really over eat, just indulged in desserts I don't usually eat, but I don't think I over did it.
