I am having a hard time with my goals and finding the right rotation for it........

I want to lost an inch all over my body.........I just got the CTX series, but I am not feeling like the cardio is long enough?? I have redone my rotation for next week and like the looks of it better, but I wonder if I shouldn't just replace the 30 mins cardio sections for 30 mins of jogging instead.........

Any thoughts on that?? I am continuing to lift on my legs 4-5X per week and wonder if jogging on top of that almost everyday would be too much.........

Any other rotational advice would be great - I will use whatever you guys recommend to blast away that last bit........

I also just received my CTX series, and I like it very much but agree that I need to increase the cardio. I'm thinking of adding on Low Max Blast only premix to the tail end of the cardio, or I-Max 3 Blast only premix, or doing 2 CTX cardios back to back, like All Step + Power Circuit.

Right now I'm doing CTX as is because I just came off a one-month rotation that was a little challenging for me, so I'm taking it easy for a week. Today I did Yoga X and a 3-mile run instead of my CTX. My body needed the stretching, but I didn't want to give up the cardio.

Hope this helps!

IMHO it really depends on the individual, but for me, controlling my food portions really helped. I have CTX and think it is great, the 30 minute cardio is good for me because they are short but intense. There is some research that shows short intense cardio can be very effective. I tend to do more weightlifting than any cardio. But that is just my body type.

If you do lots of cardio you can eat more, but I lost 20 lbs just controlling my eating habits (I did WW). You can undo vast amounts of cardio by eating improperly.

I know this is vague, hope this helps.

I too saw better results after controlling my eating. When I did the workouts from Body For Life, which are not long at all, I lost a lot of inches. I also started the eating program too. Anyhow, I am not saying this to suggest BFL, but to show that workouts don't have to be hours long if they are intense, and if eating habits are good. My are eating habits are terrible when not eating clean. Melissa

Thanks guys - I knew it probably boiled down to my eating habits - I am great during the week and then usually blow it on Saturday and Sunday!

I just need to stick to my protein and a salad for dinner on weekends and I would probably not have any troubles dropping those last few pounds............

I need to cut out the alchol on the weekends........I love having a few boulevard wheat beers and lemons when we go out :(

x( x( x( I just need to stay consistent with eating on the weekends.....

Controlled eating and maybe try to run at least for 1 hour instead of 30 mins. I am trying to build myself to get to 1 hour and then more. I found that if I run for 1 hour or longer, I burn fat. 30 mins just doesn't seem enough, but it isn't bad, but your just not getting the full benefit from running at 30 mins. JMHO.

Goals:

1)Working up to run a complete 10miles. Working on a pace of 7mins for NOW! A girl can dream :)

2)Abs--flat and toned. I think if I work hard enough at it , I could get the six pack going. I can see some form trying to peek through. Enough of the excuses
:)

3) Toned arms. The shoulders/biceps/triceps busting out.

I eat clean-- HATE chocolate and don't do chips (salt). I know--I'm crazy.

To love deeper...and remember to enjoy each day :) :) :)

I'm on week 4 of this all circuits rotation right now, and I've had a blast, and also lost some inches. I didn't measure myself beforehand, and am kicking myself for it now, but I can tell in my clothes and in the mirror.

I love doing circuit work anyway, and at the end of each workout I've been working my legs freestylish;-)

I've missed running though this last month, and will be incorporating that back in next week.
