Girl Scout Cookies are the Devil!!

So over the weekend my boyfriend and I polished off a box of tagalongs. There are now two boxes of Thin Mints in the freezer calling my name. Why do I buy these things every year? I swear I could eat a whole sleeve of them by myself in one sitting.

I buy them and then promptly put them in the kitchen at work - so all can have some. Makes me feel much better knowing that others are eating them and not me!!

Oh yeah, they are evil incarnate. The thin mints call to me too, T. They have a high squeaky voice, and there is only one way to silence them!

Someone gave DH a bunch of boxes for his birthday as a thank you present. That was in addition to the boxes he and I both bought. Oy.

I'll take the Thin Mints off your hands!! :p

Thanks for posting this. I've been waiting for my niece to call me and let me know when she was selling them and I haven't heard a thing yet. My boyfriend didn't buy thin mints from someone else so he could buy them from my niece. The tagalongs are the peanut butter and chocolate ones? I LOVE those along with the peanut butter oatmeal ones. Thin mints frozen are right up there as well. I want to start eating healthy again and these probably wouldn't be at the top of that list. Since my niece hasn't called me, maybe I won't call her to inquire. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise........yeah, right! :)

I wish I hadn't seen the post.

I bought 5 boxes last week. We (well, mostly me;)) ate 2 boxes and I put the other 3 in the cupboard above the stove-out of sight out of mind at least they WERE until you posted this. :( I wish I hadn't seen this post.

I purposely didn't order any. I had at least 3 people selling them in my office. I LOVE Samoas and I knew if I got them, I couldn't resist them! I'm still waiting for Edy's to start making the Samoa ice cream again. I guess it's a good thing they haven't made it in a while.;)

Never fear. GS cookies come in single serving boxes - so even when you indulge and eat the whole sleeve/box, you only get the calories listed in that one serving. You're good.

OMG, now would someone please send me 5 boxes of Thin Mints!!!!
I can't get them out of my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!! HOW did I miss GS cookies this year??? I have no idea, but it's probably a good thing... Thin Mints are my favorite! Not to add insult to injury, but Keebler Grasshoppers are a close substitute for Thin Mints... Just sayin'!

Oh ladies, I feel your pain.

Now imagine this: 300+ boxes of every kind of GS cookie known to man sitting in my breezeway. Just steps away, whispering to me...

I am my DD's troop "cookie mom" and thankfully these cookies are all spoken for. Otherwise, it would be a disaster!

My Dream Job!

I haven't purchased GS cookies in 3 years. The first year I turned down the GS's in my neighborhood I felt really bad. But each year got easier. Now, they don't bother knocking on my door.
I love thin mints and I could eat a whole box:eek: They are delivered the worst time of year.......spring right before swimsuit season:eek::eek::eek::eek:

YES THEY ARE!!!

Well, I'm happy to say that not a single girl scout cookie has touched my lips. The neighbor girls who sold last year are no longer scouts. I have refused to buy any from the troops on the grocery store corner. I'm hoping they will be sold out soon so my DD will stop begging for them!

Oh boy, now I'm in trouble. I gotta try these Keebler Grasshoppers!!

Yep, those cute little girls in those uniforms, smilin' at ya, They get me everytime. OF course I was a GS so I know from experience, what an addiction GS cookies are!

I buy some every year but tell the girls to donate them to the troops (I have no idea if they actually do this) and I only buy them directly from girl scouts not from their mom's at work.
