Gin Miller Intense Moves

I re-visited this video today and I had forgotten what an effective step interval workout it is. Similiar to the IMAXes, except she allows (if you choose) a 2 minute recovery. Its more like the blast only premixes with a longer recovery period. But you have the option of intensifying while she is showing the next move if you want to, making a 2 minute interval with 1 minute recovery. It is so versatile for the beginner to advanced interval training regiman. The interval is 1 minute, but there is a time graph so you can do anywhere from 15 seconds to the full minute as you progress. Anyway, just thought I would pass this along for anyone. The total workout length with warmup and stretch is 48 minutes. The intervals go for 30 minutes.

Hi,

Can someone tell me how high the impact is for this? I can no longer do jumping jacks etc so most of Cathe interval stuff it too hard on my poor body!

It has some high impact moves, however, Gin shows you 3 levels for each segment ... hard, harder and hardest ... and the lowest level is lower impact so it's easy to modify. Deb

I like this one - it's the first interval workout I tried (7 years ago!), and is still a favorite. I like her athletic style.

I've been considering this one for a while, but you've all convinced me to get it. Besides, it's on sale at CKSales for $12.57!

This is great to hear - I just picked one up for under $5 and was curious! I may try it tonight with a strength workout.

I'm glad to hear positive reviews, too. I bought it a few months ago and must confess I have yet to try it. I'm in the middle of X right now, but maybe I'll give it a go during my upcoming recovery week.

You have got to tell me where you were able to find it for so cheap!!! I have had my eye out for a sale for it for a while now. No luck thus far :)

I pulled this one out and did it last week because I was a little short on time but wanted a fun blast workout! You can work as hard as you want and really burn the calories. This is one of the few workouts that I have that even come close to a good Cathe workout.
