GILAD

Yeah, baby! He is yummy!

And he's supposedly coming out with some workouts later this year that are like his new show on FitTV (which I like to watch!).

And in his ad, when he says "Give me your body for just a few short weeks, and let me show you what I can do with it..." ...I'd take him up on it!}(

Gilad is so cheesy, but he is so cute and funny! Love the accent and the spandex...what a classic combo. I will always have a special place in my heart for him, as he was the very first "TV" exercise session I ever did ("Bodies in Motion" back in about 1990). Next workout I did was Denise Austin, LOL! I've come a long way, baby. :)

I must say, though, Gilad still has some good workouts. I recently bought his 45/45 Split workout and it is actually quite good. Short and sweet, but gets your heart rate up pretty well and works your legs. And he is SO funny in this DVD, he cracks me up.

Oh, funny!! My Mom used to work out to Gilad- he's been around a while!! So he still has new workouts?? I totally remember Bodies in Motion!!!

Hugs,

He was my first tv workout too so I have a special place in my heart for him as well. Hmmm will have to look at the 45/45 split.

He is a ham! I met him in person at a fitness show out here in San Diego a few years ago. He's a short guy (around 5'7" or so), but has a great personality. We tried to get him to show off his abs (he wouldn't though). LOL

I LOVE him!! I used to work out with him years ago--the first TV fitness instructor I ever worked out with. I think he's good. He's definitely easy on the eyes;) . I used to like his sister's show, too (I think her name was Ada). I think her show was called Bootcamp or something like that. They worked out on military bases and navy ships. Anyone remember that? I'm glad to know Gilad is still around.

I like Gilad, too, as he was one of the first instructors I worked out with as well. I think the new format for his show is nicely modernized and he, of course, still looks fab. My only real complaint was I found his kickboxing just didn't flow well for me. I'm not really sure why but I didn't find the moves to go together as well as his high-low segments.

He is awfully cute, though! :7 Even my mother thinks so, lol.

I used to work out with Gilad when I was just a kid. It's so funny because it's like he hasn't aged at all. He looks great!

On his website he has some pictures of his new workouts coming out on Sept 1st.

If they are like his Fit TV show they should be good. Those workouts seem fun and easy on the eyes. Between him and Hawaii the time should just fly by.

Gilad was also the fist workout instuctor i worked out with efore I heard about Cathe. I love him sooo much!:* He is delicious:9 :9 !!LOL
our abs are pretty similar...Seriously (ok maybe not that "packy"):p :p

Susan,

Although I recommend the 45/45 split workout, keep in mind that the intensity of the cardio doesn't compare to Cathe. It is a great, fun workout to do on "light" workout days or days when you are just in a pinch for time and don't want to get totally sweaty. As long as you do it with these expectations, I think you will really like it! Just wanted to add that little disclaimer. :)

Oh my, I haven't thought about Gilad in a long time. I actually used to do his workouts too along with Denise Austin. I had no idea he was still an instructor on TV. He was a little cheesy but I admired him for his motivation. If you can get people off of the couch, you must be doing something right.

Was Gilad really that old? I don't man his age, but like started his fitness shows and stuff years ago, kinda like Cathe? I just recenlty heard about him like 4 months ago. I love him!

I agree he is high on the cheese factor but kind of fun to watch. He seems more beginner/intermediate to me...but then maybe a lot of things seem that way compared to miss Cathe ;)

I know. I think Gilads shows Bodies in Motion and Total Body Sculpt are way too easy, but whenever I do htem, I use heavier wieghts and sometimes my barbell for leg work. I don't do his show that much, I just like to watch him. He is sooo sekcy!!:9 :9
