Getting Our Licks In!

I can't believe today sister and I finished meso 2. Wow! My personal great accomplishment: using 15 pound dumb bells for the first set of the rotating bicep curls and concentration curls. Sometimes I amaze myself. I'm not totally exhausted from meso 2 like I was at the end of meso 1. Not sure why that is, but I'm still looking forward to the active recovery week.

Janie: We didn't get Ripken right after our yellow lab Plug went to dog heaven. It was 18 months in between. But when we got Ripken, I sure was ready for another pup. When it's time, you know it.

Shadowpup: another trip? Hope you are going someplace warm. And that you are feeling better. It's hard to do though with the travel. Look forward to hearing from you this weekend.

Shoegal: you and your DH always do fun stuff on the weekends. That's really nice. I seem to be perpetually in clean the house mode. It's supposed to be a decent weekend so I'm hoping to get the cars washed this weekend--see, there I go with the cleaning.

Laura: The strides you make while doing STS are pretty amazing. At least they are to me. Sister and I discussed that we might each need to purchase 30 pound dumbbells (eek!), but I think for some of the exercises you could substitute your barbell. That's what I've done a few times. It works. BTW, I enjoyed that dinner we all shared. Yum, yum. First cavity--ick. Hope it is her last cavity.

Sister: high 5s, we are done with meso 2!

Last night I did Athlectic Step - absolutely no dread factor at all with this one - my 2nd time at it and it was even more enjoyable I think than the first. I've probably said this - but I am just LOVING how quickly Cathe puts together those combos!! Don't like doing each combos twice at the end though - I would have liked to see how the whole fit together - and had just gone through the entire thing again. Good workout - I had fun!!!

I actually have some DOMS from that Tracy Anderson workout the day before if you can believe it - I think I'll do that one again!!!

Michelle - Congrats on finishing MESO II - holy moly - didn't that just fly by?! Enjoy your active rest week too - it is well deserved. I am a nut and actually like to clean on Saturdays - I'm getting ready to decorate for Easter - have some things out but didn't get a chance last weekend to really pull all of my decor out.

Laura - your day at the slopes sounded heavenly - that was a lot of activity for sure!!! Which DD had her first cavity??? I sure she was brave - hope it is the last one too!! Is your mom looking to buy a condo there??

Janie - Variety is the spice of life - nothing wrong with that!!:D - you are like my inspiration - I also love all of my workout videos as well. I actually pulled a box out of old VHS tapes I have. They were pretty much all Firm - and thought - gee - I'd like to do a couple of those again. I would like to know how you fit them all in - I have seem to have abandoned most of my Firms and am focusing on other instructors now.

Hope you all enjoy your day - sunny here in Pittsburgh!!

Did Disc 32 Plyo Legs. It feels like my legs are just rubber.

Laura, Awe, her first cavity. They are growing up before your eyes. I remember pottery, it is a lot of fun.

I love to hear that you had such a good time on the slopes. That in itself is a workout.

Michelle, Congratulations for finishing Meso 2! Yeah! (fire work displays).
I love active recovery week. Enjoy, you deserve it.

Yes, I too believe when it's time for another puppy, and see her, I'll know.

Shoegal, After this rotation is done I'll be able to do all kinds of other things I want to do. Like the Athletic Step.

I fit my other DVD's in here and there. I may not get to one for awhile, (like a long time), but it's there when I want it, ready to go.LOL

I love all my Firm tapes. Will never get rid of them. They are still very useful to me. I can remember Joey and I was traveling and we would use them outside (Joey has a way of engineering that kind of stuff, well, he's an engineer) people would congratulate us for doing them, if they saw us workout. Nothing interrupted our workouts. We could be in camp sites, in the desert by our selves, anywhere we were the Firm workouts were with us. We did them for years. We still, every now and then take one out for memory sake and do it. LOL

Now a days there are so many wonderful instructors that are more updated, and so we go with the flow.

Janie

As Michelle mentioned: DONE with meso 2! I really liked it! I found the chest work the hardest and most challenging. Very happy to have an active recovery week. I'm very tired today. I think everything has finally caught up to me. Its a good tired. I really didn't want to workout tonight, but I did. Step Moves...again.

Oh and by the way, it was a 56 or 58 or something like that BARBELL. I don't think I could do a bench press with 55 pound dumbbells...one in each hand...ha, ha...nope, in my dreams.

First cavity....ick. I won't even go there...the dentist...OY!

Sorry for my lack of activity on the forum. Just too busy and/or too tired.

Hello Everyone -

Did Tracy Anderson yet again - the mat workout - very enjoyable - and so different. I think it is interesting to mix things up - and this certainly treats the muscles to something they aren't used to - yes, yes - I was confusing them. :) But so far - a great week for exercise for me.

So glad it is Friday - hope everyone has a great weekend -does anyone have any plans???

Yesterday, I did LowMax. Sister had suggested the cardio premix that does not include the blasts. Well, I put that puppy in the dvd player and hit play. Before I knew it, I was doing the first blast and it occurred to me that I had forgotten to go to the premix page. Oh well, must have been kismet--did the whole LowMax workout and had a ball. Felt good to do a long step workout--it's been a while. Today is supposed to be a break day, but I'm thinking I will do a stretch workout some time this afternoon just because I can.

When I got home last night, there was a black cat with a blue collar sitting on the front porch. I figured it was a neighbor's cat and didn't think much of it. It was still there on the porch when I opened the door a little later to take Ripken for his walk. Ripken was on his leash so he couldn't chase the cat, but the cat wisely vacated the area. This morning my next door neighbor was looking for her 1 year old male cat who got out of the house last night and is not an outside cat. Uh-oh. Yup, it was the cat that was sitting on my porch. I told her I would keep a lookout for the cat and if I saw it again, I would defnitely collect the cat and bring him home. I felt bad particularly for her young kids who were pretty anxious, but who knew? I thought it was the black cat that lives down the hill from us. Ripken and I see that kitty all the time. Didn't know the neighbors had a black cat. Anyway, I'm hoping the cat will find his way home very soon.

Disc 33 Shoulders Biceps & Triceps. Love these exercises!

Renee, Congratulations earning your recovery week. Good job on the cardio. What will you do this week? Any plans, or unplanned activities from day to day? Very proud of you.

Shoegal, What is the name of Tracy Anderson's DVD? You have me curious. Good job working out and confusing your body. Yep.:) Joey and I have two days to do with what we want. No plan, but if the weather is good, will go for a hike.

Michelle, You are doing dedicated exercises. When you have a rest day and instead of doing nothing (like you are entitled to do) you either walk or stretch or something, "because you can" that's dedication. Good for you!

I Hope the poor black cat finds his way home too. Let us know if he does.

Janie

Back for a quick chat. The black kitty has not come home yet.:( Hopefully, he will, soon.

I spent the day reading some pretty dense material and if my body didn't need a stretch, my brain certainly did. I did the Total Body Stretch dvd late this afternoon. Ripken joined me doing stretches laying on his side. What a goof.

Janie: It's March, so you must have gotten through that rotation that you put together in February. How did that go? It looked like a really challenging schedule of workouts to me? Are you onto another rotation now? Just curious. Found another great casual/exercise/bath suit clothing catalogue called Athletica. You might want to check them out too, Janie. Has anybody bought stuff from them? Looks really nice.

We are doing breakfast for dinner tonight. Anybody else ever do that?

So didn't post yesterday. I HAD to seriously clean my very neglected house. Been an off week for me exercise wise, missed tuesday workout and had to make it up on wed. which was a crazy lone exercise day. Yesterday taught my Pilates class, but really didn't do much myself..and then cleaned. I was going to wake up early and make up my Back & Triceps but that didn't happen. I did squeeze in a good 30 minutes on the reformer between cleints so at least got some core work in today. My mom leaves tomorrow so she took me out for a nice sushi dinner tonight.

Michelle: I have used my barbell for dead-lifts and a few other things I can't think of now which has worked just fine. I will definitely need to go up to 30 # on Meso 2 as I am already maxed out my weight in meso 1! I hope that poor kitty finds his way home soon! There was no way you could have known who he belonged to!

Shoegal: I really need to do AS again! I found it really challenging, cardio wise, but easy to pick up which is good for me. I am curious about that mat workout as well. I wonder if it is like Pilates? It is good to balance out the body by doing different types of movement and it does sound like you got good variety this week. I have to say I am relieved not to have to decorate for Easter this year. We are going to Atlanta. Next to Christmas Easter is my next biggest decorating holiday and we have a ton of stuff. I just finished putting away the V-day stuff, well not entirely actually the girls little V-day baskets are still out with their treats from their class, and I just don't have it in me to gear up and do it again! I must still be grieving for Maggie-Doodle and just don't have that extra pep in my step.

Janey: oh yea! Skiing is harder than any workout DVD for sure! I think I do all my workouts to help me be in better shape to ski and it still whoops me every-time. I do telemark skiing which definitely requires more strength than traditional down hill. After a few hours I am done! legs shaking like nothing else makes them...

Renee: few! I was like 55# DB holy moly! That is a good idea to use the barbell instead of DB's do you have a rack or Cathe tower? Do you use a bench or step? I was thinking it would be nice to have am adjustable bench at home with a barbell rack over it......well it doesn't hurt to dream..maybe I should check out Craig's list of Ebay

Shadowpup: safe travels and hope you feel better. I am planning on doing alternating weeks of the plyo legs and than using the Squat rack at my gym, as I am doing the repeat every work out once it will work out perfectly and really mix up the leg work..

Clearning the house!!! Yes - I am having a blast - can't help it - actually like to clean. I also got my Easter things out. I decided to concentrate all of the Easter decor in the kitchen. The kitchen is open to the rest of the living area -so you can see it when you are sitting on the couch. Turns out - I don't have that much stuff - did forget about baskets though so I'm going to have to go dig those out. This will be a huge excuse to get more stuff!!! :D  :) :p There are mega bunnies on top of the kitchen cabinets though - it looks super. :D

Laura - DH asked why I don't decorate for St Patrick's Day - it isn't my heritage I told him. Well, it's his. Opps - will have to do that next year. I want that reformer - always did - I know, I'm ridiculous. Do they make videos for that??? No - I don't think that Tracy Anderson is anything like pilates - although you'd be a much better judge on that one. Think of holding your arms out for a really long time - doing quick, short movements over and over and over again until your arms want to fall off. There is more than that going on in the rest of the tape but that will give you some idea.

Michelle - Oh poor little kitty! :( Hope he finds his way home. Let us know if he does. I'm going to send out a little prayer that he makes it back. No- I never do breakfast at dinner - I don't really like too much breakfast food. Did you have eggs? What will you be doing for your rest this week? Is is a warm day today - the sun is shing - all the snow is melting - there is still a ton of it laying about - but with this weather it will all be gone soon.

Janie - I hope you enjoyed your hike - did you have good weather for it? Haven't you ever done a TA workout?? Don't be too curious - I'm sure you have something already that is comparable. Do you have any ballet barre type workouts??

Well - I am going to do an old Firm workout today - I am all excited - just a little blast from the past.

Today did Insanity Cardio Power & Resistance and BBL Booty Basic. It was great. I'm getting stronger.

Michelle, Awe, I sure hope the kitty will be found soon. My heart goes out to him.

I love stretching my body out too after an intense workout. Good job. Pet Ripken for me, will ya?

I started my rotation later in Feb., but I only have one more week to go after tomorrow. Then I'm free again to do what I want. I love that freedom. It is a cruling rotation, not for the beginner at all. But, I'm feeling stronger and have more endurance than ever before. Lost more weight and just loving the way I'm starting to look.

I looked at Athletica, but didn't see any swimwear in there. Am I looking in the wrong places? I see a lot of yoga and workout pants and they look wonderful, but no swimsuits.

I love having breakfast at supper time.

Laura, Sometimes I have those days too, when everything just gets mixed up. You'll get back on track, I know you will. Hope you enjoyed your Mom's stay. Sounds like you did. Good.

Will you be doing anymore skiing. It soon will all be over, right? I never did make it to the mountains to snow shoe this year. Missed out on that one.

Shoegal, Your Easter decorations sounds wonderful. I can just picture sitting in your living room and looking across to the kitchen and seeing all those bunnies.;)

we are having such great weather lately. If it wasn't for all the people in the woods on the weekends, we would be out in it today. We like quite and peace.

I only have squeeze and Calenetics. Love those, but the clothes are so outdated on Calenetics. I'm looking lustily at some of those Barre workouts. I can use the Tower for those exercises! Hmmmmmmm.

Oh! Enjoy your Firm Workout. Which one are you doing? Susan Harris, the first volume.

Janie

We had a fitness expo at the Rec. Center today where people can come in and take sample classes. I taught 2 pilates and one weight lifting class for a total of 60 minutes, 20 minutes each...and then I did make up Back & Biceps, so now debating wether to make up legs tomorrow or do some much needed cardio...maybe a good step routine.

Shoegal: Ah now I want to see all our little bunnies and cute Easter stuff! Enjoy yours! I have a love hate relationship with cleaning, sure do like it when it is clean and hate it when it isn't but don't necessarily enjoy the process!:eek::rolleyes:

Janey: so you are doing 2 workouts everyday? How do you like the BBL? I have heard good things about them so I just might have to check them out sometime...

by the way I love Atheltica's stuff. I have bought a lot of things from them and really enjoyed everything I have gotten although they were bought out by the parent company that owns Gap and I have heard their quality has fallen since then...

Hey girls,

I guess STS and my work week has caught up to me. Last Saturday I had a lot of get up and go. Today, not so much. I did one of my favorites today "Rhythmic Step" and really enjoyed it. Did a little of this and that around the house and took a 50 minute nap! I rarely nap, so I guess I needed a little bit of rest.

Laura, I'd go with a nice cardio. Sounds like the perfect thing. I know, I sure I am glad to just have cardio and stretches this week. No weights! But I am looking forward to tackling meso 3.

I looked at those swimsuits at Boston Proper. Good lord, they are expensive...at least they are in my book. I think I will stick with JC Penneys! lol

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Hi all,

I'm back for a few days - maybe a week! I am so tired of travel that I'm thinking seriously of skipping a scheduled trip this week. It's getting to the point where I'm forgetting where I'm going :)

Today was great, though. I took two of the boys out for a ride: Sierra and Atreides. Sierra got to go first, though that wasn't my original plan. All three horses had been hanging out by the hay barn gate, where I feed them. Sierra heard me ask "who wants to be first?", and somehow decided it might be a good idea to sneak around behind the barn (he's smart enough that he may actually realize that I normally don't choose a horse who is in the middle of the herd: it is easier to take one who is by himself, to avoid a rush at the gate... ) Whatever the reason, he snuck around the barn, to a second gate, and stuck his head over the fence and snorted quietly. It was so funny that I had to take him out first. Picante was MAD! His eyes really popped out when he saw the kid horse being saddled up. Well, it will be Picante's turn tomorrow. Atreides got a ride in too; he's so reliable that I decided it would be okay to take him out in the dusk.

Workouts this week were mainly Cardio Coach and an attempt at Tracy Effinger's Squeeze Stronger. I wanted a circuit training dvd. THAT was not a good choice. I liked her Lower Body Challenge, and couldn't even bring myself to finish this one, and added a little P90X Back Biceps to get to 45 minutes. Her moves in SS were fast and high rep, not my favorite. However, the reason I probably won't do SS again for a long time (if ever) is that the moves involved weighted moves with outstretched arms at angles that really stressed the joints. Oh well, it is just more motivation to get back to Meso 2! If I am really going to be able to work from home all week I'll start it up again :D:D:D

Hope everyone is doing well; I need to catch up on all of the postings.

Missed checking in yesterday--just a bit busy. Yesterday's exercise was the double cardio premix from 4DS which I really love. Then I topped it off with the 1st and 2nd ab workouts from ab hits. Felt really good. Then I proceeded to strain my back while shaving my legs in the shower. What the heck! I mean I was all warm and toasty and zing, there goes the lower back muscles. Not as bad as a couple of years ago when I put my back out on the boat. I can walk, just not real fast. Thank goodness today is a stretch. That sure will feel good. I'll have to play the rest of the week by ear. Everyday could end up being a stretch day this week.

I had great outside plans for today but those have been squashed. It is supposed to get up to 60 degrees! Now that I've got to baby the back a couple of days, I'm thinking my big accomplishment might be taking some stuff to Goodwill and running my SUV through the car wash and a couple of short walks with Ripken.

Shadowpup: nice to hear that you are getting to spend some time with the kids. How's the weather in Idaho? I think we've turned the corner here in the mid-Atlantic--signs of spring are everywhere. The trees are starting to get that haze of color when the buds just started to push.

Laura: I mispoke on the name of that catalog, it's Athleta not Athletica, but you got the connection correct. I'm bummed to hear that their quality has fallen off. Dang.

Sister: yes, Boston Proper is a bit pricey. I was thinking that you might like some of the stuff at Athleta. Don't forget, it never hurts to check out what might be on ebay.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Hi to Janie and Shoegal.
~michelle

Rest day today.

Laura
, Do a step routine tomorrow, you get both for the price of one.;)

Sometimes I do 2 routines in one day, but I split it up during the day. My rotation that I'm doing was for a person who wanted Insanity, BBL and STS series in one rotation and I took up that challenge. I had to so it myself, because I said that I would and have a review about it when I'm done. This is a hard rotation, but thank goodness not all days have two routines in it.

BBL is really great. It has a band for some of the workouts, a sculpting workout, cardio, nutrition pamphlet and a measuring tape. You can also (like I did) put it in rotations/routines or use it for a lower body workout (remembering to do calves). Very versatile and love the instructor as well. He's really cute with his accent.

Renee, OOOOOOooooh! I remember Rhythmic Step. Can't wait to do it on my active recovery week. Good job on your workout. I'm glad you are listening to your body and got a nap in.

Deborah, It does seem like you travel very frequently. Glad to see you home for a little while.

Sierra is a very smart horse. He most likely will do that trick again to be up first for you to ride him. I love your horse stories! Let us know how it goes with Picante tomorrow.:D

SS isn't one of my favorites either. I know what you mean about angles stressing the joints. I also liked her lower body exercises. But don't want to break up the routine by stopping it, taking the DVD out and then adding a different workout to finish the exercises for that day. Not worth it to me. I may trade it for something else. Rather do Callenetics. Old, but a keeper.

Enjoy Meso 2, good choice.

Michelle, You did such a good job on your workouts. Are you stretching after/during your same day workouts? So sorry to here that your back is hurting. :( Do take care and enjoy your stretches today.

Your plans today sounds great, especially the walk with Ripken. Enjoy your 60 degree weather.

Will come back again today, just because.

Janie

Greetings everybody!

Today I did Step Blast. It was lots of fun. Got mixed up on the 3rd combo a few times, but I did better then I used too, on this one. It has that fun factor I associate with Step Moves, Rhythmic Step and Step Jam. Tomorrow I may do Basic or LIS and add a short abs routine and a stretch from Stretch Max. Shoot, I may add a stretch in today too!

Yo sister, did your neighbors find their cat yet?

Horses...my sister, not Michelle, was into horses. Me, not so much. Of course it may have something to do with being set up at the age of 4. We were at my Uncle Eddies farm, and I wanted to see the horses. The other sister took me to see them. She didn't tell me not to go up to the back end to "pet" them. I did and got kicked. Took the air right out of me. The other sister was always doing mean stuff like that to me. Riding me on her bike handle bars, stopping abruptly, and me falling off. Yeah, what a sweet sister. Thats because I had the nerve to be born on her first day of kindergarten. Michelle and I, on the other hand, usually played well with one another. Still do...go figure. I had a friend in high school and we rode a few times, but it was never my thing. I admire people who have a knack for those big beasts. Me, I'll stick with my wee cats!

It requires less character to discover the faults of others, than to tolerate them.

Hmmm.......?

OH MAN I could not check in and glide right over today which would be the preferable thing to do and certainly the easier thing to do.... but then what would be the point of this whole freaking thing?? If I only check in when I am doing awesome that would be sort of like lying right and not be accountable for my actions...

so never worked out today and ate terrible, like stupid bad! My girls have a big project for school coming up and we basically spent all day as a family working on it, which was super fun actually, but my low back got real cranky with me for sitting weird on the floor all day. I even finally motivated to go do AS up in my yurt, which was warm, but my feet got wet from the snow on the way up there and then my step was wet from condensing as it warmed up, and then I slipped on the warm up and my back got more irritated and well truth be told I bailed completely. I was going to pop in a KB workout but thought it might be a bad idea to be kicking with my back talking to me and then my DD said she was hungry so I had to start dinner anyway. Well since I didn't workout I thought I should stuff my face instead with Pad Thai, always a good solution to not working out, over eating...

I did think of you, shoegal, sitting and watching the movie on your step and then motivating to do your workout, but no inspirational ending for me tonight!

Catchick: what a cat woman who isn't a napper? LOL! My kitty's have taught me the art of The Nap, I lie down close to everyday for anywhere between 20- 40 minutes top and don't really sleep but snooze and revive the Queen of the World! Any longer and a deep sleep I am a mess but without my little check out time I am a mess to...it is a fine line...The Nap!

Janey: sounds like a challenging rotation for sure! I am actually wondering if I am not getting enough down time which is resulting in my constantly worn out legs, tiredness, losing interest in my workouts and classes, I was reading in Oxygen Magazine and it looks like a lot of their routines have 2 rest days a week not one! And I get one and sometimes workout, including classes, 3 hours a day.....but how else can I get my 'hobbies' in, my classes in and my weight workouts in???

Shadowpups: Oh I bet your kids were so happy to see you! They must be feeling the arrival of spring in as well and are eager to go roam around! Have you ever hired a 'rider' to ride them when you are gone? I have a friend who did that for work, ride other people's horses for them when they can't, sort of like a dog walker I suppose. I had never heard of that before she told me about it. I think you should stay home this next trip, if not for yourself for all your 4 legged family, and well I suppose your DH as well!!!

Michelle: your post actually made me feel better about babying my back! No small thing to irritate... and have you heard about the kitty? I hope he is safe and sound at home!

Michelle - you are doing the right thing - baby your back so you can get back to Meso III with no complications!! It was quite warm in Pittsburgh and super clear this weekend - so nice weather for a walk!! I suppose you haven't seen the little cat - I do hope he makes it home.

Laura - yep - you have to report the bad as well as the good. It is very unlikely that any of us will judge you for not working out and stuffing your face - I am guilty of that too many times to count myself. :p So get back up, dust yourself off - and get back at it. Today is a new day - and a brand new chance to do it all right. I stepped on the scale this morning - and stepped right back off. After a weekend of careful eating I managed to gain a pound.:eek::eek: But I thought - I have all week to fix that.

Janie - Wow - your hard work is paying off - way to go!!! Since you and Shadowpup both don't like Squeeze Strong / Stronger - I think I'll take that off my wish list. It was one workout I've been interested in. What are you goind to do once this rotation ends - or has it ended already??

Shadowpup - I'm sure your kids have been missing you - love the horse stories too. You have been traveling so much - I think you should stay home - I told my DH that I wanted to stay home today just for fun - I was all miffed that I didn't get at least one snow day!! And we all need a little break now and then.

DH and I have joined GSP Rescue of PA and will be fostering a new pup soon - probably by the end of this week - we are super excited. We knew it would be difficult to watch another dog - along with our 2 girls - but I think the rewards will be greater than the hardships. His name is Hobie and is about 6-8yrs. His original owner passed on and the owner's wife surrendered him to GSP rescue because she couldn't take care of him along with her other pets alone.

Hope you all have a great day!!! I'm not sure what workout I'll be doing today - I know I left that info out - maybe I'll report back in later. :D

STS Disc 34 Chest & Back. Love the upper body workouts.:D

Renee, Oh yeah, I love fun factor with those step workouts too.;) Do add a stretch in today, you won't regret it.

That's terrible that you were treated like that when you were young. Very mean stuff.:( Do they still treat you harshly today? I'd feel better if they were kinder.

Can't blame you for not liking to ride horses. How sad you went through that.:(

Laura, Awe, don't beat yourself up about it.:( We all do it to a certain degree, but get back on the wagon shortly after. It's OK to eat poorly every once in a while. Believe it or not, it's good for the body to get confused that way too. I usually eat around 1200-1300 calories for 3 days then all of a sudden I'll eat a 1500 calorie day, then right back to 1200 or 1300. Then start all over again. Or once a week I eat what I want and as much as I like, (well at a certain point) until I start to feel full. It seems to work for me anyway. Besides, that's why we are here, together, on good days and bad days. And your back needs more rest it sounds like. OOOOO, love Pad Thai.

Not enough down time are the symptoms you described. I bet that's what is going on. So, give yourself more down time. Your body will thank you for it. After a month of vigerous workouts, you should really take a whole week off from lifting weight so your body can repair its self. Also do take a day off once a week. Not sure how you can work that out. You are such a busy lady. You need to figure it out though, for your health. (((((hugs to you))))). (Patting you on the back.)

Maybe someone might have a suggestion or two for you. I'll also think too, just can't come up with anything at the moment, need to think about it.

Shogal, Have you decided what workout you will be doing today?

Yes, this rotation is working! I'm not going to feel fat at all while on the cruise. I can't wait!

Next week the rotation will end and I will be on my active recovery week. Will be doing STS Cardio and yoga. After the recovery week will be doing many others, like Budokon by Cameron Shayne and Forza by Ilaria Montagnani (for upper body) and Cathe's Pyramid lower body workout. Stuff I love and miss very much.

You are wonderful to foster a puppy. He sounds like a joy to have. Poor thing, he is most likely sad right now. But he'll be in good hands with your family. That is so wonderful!:D Congratulations.

Our Winkle (our diabetic cat that is getting two shots per day) is really not liking these shots at all. Sometimes it feels like we are torturing him. He also cautions us by putting his teeth on our skin in a very threatening way. (like he wants to bite us!). That is so scary. He doesn't do it all the time, but more and more lately. I feel so bad for him, because I know he is suffering. He just doesn't know that we love him enough to do this and save his life. I'm not sure what is going to happen in the near future. I know Joey is not going to like doing this while I'm on the cruise. His reaction to Joey is hide and growl and hiss at him when he does it. It's so sad.:(

It use to be so much easier. But I guess his skin from all the shots, is getting very sensitive. My Poor Winkle.

Take care everyone and have a great Monday.
