Getting it done for December 2014

Good morning!

Forgot to post last night that I worked with the trainer last night. We focused on form, so not as heavy, but still a great wo.

Belinda - high five! Barre wo's - I have a few - maybe I should do them more.

Run on schedule for tonight. Have a good one!
 
Good morning,

I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday. I was cleaning my pantry out, all the sudden I felt a sharp pain in my back, WTH? I didn't do Xtrain legs yesterday, but I did all my other workouts plus added another lower body barre workout (outer glutes). Today's plan is SBF Cardio Barre =35 min and Lower Body w/ball = 15 min. I also will do Jessica's stretch for today. I will skip Hard Strike for today, can't do all those jumping jacks with my back today.

Sherry - no other workouts gave me better results than Barre workouts. You use your bodyweight for most workouts. High fives, on your workout last night.

Heidi - have a great workout today.

Argh! Oh so sorry to hear about your pulled back muscle Belinda! Maybe just do a good stretch out? Hope you feel better soon.

Sherry: Awesome job on your workouts! :) I wasn't able to post yesterday as well.

Yesterday:
3.48 mile run
A bike and weight workout: had to use really light weights due to pulling a muscle at work in my right shoulder.

Today: a bike and core workout: Had to be careful on mountain climbers and side to side push-ups. Should is still tender.

OK! BBS! Make it a good one! Oh and be careful too! :)

I did SBF Cardio Barre =35 min and Lower Body w/ball = 15 min. I also did 21 Day Fix Yoga = 30 min and Jessica Smith Short and Sweet stretch = 15 min.

Heidi - thanks! I been doing a lot of stretching/massaging my back. I am sorry about your shoulder, please be careful. Lot's of stretching:) Wow, on your workouts. Nice job!

Hi all!

Run done - 3 miles, picking up the pace and getting no hip pain - so working legs has been a really good thing.

Belinda - Take it easy! Maybe a little less for a few days.

Heidi - You, too!

Me - gonna hang with the gals for a bit tonight, so need to clean up quick.

Rest up, and tomorrow, take it a bit easier! See ya then!

Belinda: How's the back this morning? Nice job on your workouts yesterday!

Ok so I am totally feeling the last couple of days this morning! My hip flexors from all the core work yesterday especially!
Shoulder is much better but will still take the weights easy for a few more days.

Sherry: When do you think you will start a rotation with the new series? Which one will you do also? :) I will preview the Hiit Legs this morning to see what I am in for.

My workout will be a short sculpt session from Studio Sweat on Demand. It uses tubing only.

The rest of the day is the usual..house stuff and laundry catch up.

I already did Jessica Smith LB Barre = 15 min. Getting ready to do SBF Christmas Express Stretch = 12 min. I also will do some cardio later, not sure what yet?

Heidi - thanks for asking. My back feels a little better. I am taking it easy. I will skip Cathe's leg workout this week, can't do heavy weights.

Sherry - glad your hip isn't bordering. Good job on that run, girl! Hope you had a great time last night.

After I am done with my coffee I will do SBF Mat 3 = 35 min + XTrain Legs = 52 min + JS Cardio Barre Wo = 15 min.

Sherry - high fives on BM2 Double UB premix. Tough one too! When I only did Suzanne Bowen Barre workout w/lighter weights….my appetite was normal. I started XTrain 2 weeks ago, my appetite is going up. I eat more protein, vegetables, fruits. I stopped eating so much yogurt, I eat it almost every day. I cut down on dairy. I eat a lot of hard boiled eggs, fried eggs with a little olive oil. I don't eat a lot of carbs, try to eat carbs once a day. I do eat chocolate lately, but only one or to pieces but not every day. I started Xtrain because my husband couldn't do Barre with me anymore, it was hurting his hip too much. I wanted to lift heavy again and he wanted me to do it with him:D we love working out together:p I really love, love Barre workouts. They do wonders for my body. Barre leaned and toned me out what other workouts couldn't do. Not even STS:( Jessica, I her workouts are fun and I just love her. Plus, all those different instructors have a different style in workouts. I picked up on my workouts in Dec, so I wouldn't gain a lot of weight during the holiday's:p I lost a lot of weight the last few month and I would like to keep my weight that way:D One more thing, I don't have junk in my house either. :D

Belinda: Super job on your continued weight loss! Also keeping your eating as clean as you can. Hard this time of year for sure!

My Mom is doing good. Appointments went well and we are awaiting the results of the ultrasound on her thyroid. She has this checked every year...

Morning!
Up early and planning my meals ahead for the week. Made yummy oats for breakfast too. Apple Pie Oatmeal from Oh She Glows Cookbook.

Oh my gosh my quads and hip flexors are super sore from Friday's bike and core workout! Was planning on starting RWH legs yesterday but no go. Just lifting my leg up to take a step up the stairs is too much!

Off to lunch today with my Mom and Aunts. Have a great Sunday!

Heidi - glad your mom's appointment went well. Keeping my fingers crossed that the results come back positive. Apple Pie Oatmeal sounds yummy:p Take it easy on your quads and hip flexors, get a nice stretch in today.

Hi all!

Yesterday very busy day. Up early to get DD to her ACT, got my hair down in between dropping her off and picking her up. After that, went to pick up DS from school. When home from that, DD had a soccer game last night. I was worn out at the end of the day, so made it a rest day.

This morning DD had another game. But this afternoon, getting laundry and housework done. In between, I did a 2 mile run, picking up the pace. Waiting for comfy clothes to get done so I can make a run to the grocery store.

Belinda - Glad you are taking it a bit easy for your back. Keep up the great work.

Heidi - You take it easy, too. I'll start RWH next week when I"m off. Still trying to figure out how to incorporate running into one of the rotations.

I did Burn Sets: Bic & Triceps = 37 min. Love it! I also did SBF Christmas Stretch = 35 min. DH and I also took the dogs for a walk.

Sherry - fantastic job on your run. You got a lot done today, time to relax. Yes, I am taking it easy.

Well today I started RWH!
Day 1: Lift it Hiit it: Legs

Nice sweaty workout! Used lighter weights to start off with for I wasn't sure what I would be in for. :) I modified in some spots for the higher impact.

I woke this morning with glute DOMS from yesterday's tubing workout online with SSOD. This mornings workout loosened it up so feeling better now.

Sherry: I can't wait for your comments on your rotation with RWH! :) Have fun!

OK shower and off to work. Busy day ahead for sure.

I am also done with SBF Basic Barre = 50 min and JM Belly, Buns + Thighs BC = 15 min.

Heidi - I love XTrain series! High fives on Day 1: Lift it Hiit it: Legs! Sounds like a killer workout. Good job on your DOMS too. Looks like you in for some more:p

Today is Hard Strike on my schedule, I can't do all those jumping jacks I will sub something else? I also will do SBF Stopwatch Planks 3 = 15 min + Christmas UB = 15 min. I also will do JS (yes, I am still doing her challenge) Fastest Fat Blaster = 13 min.

I ended up doing Michelle's Dozois - Athletic Conditioning earlier today, forgot to post it here! Loved it:D I thought the moves were unique and fun. I was sweating bucket. Can't wait to do the stretch later this week. I am also done with SBF.

Quick post to say that I haven't done a wo the past 2 days. DH had a horrendous cold all last week, and apparently he's sharing it with me. I'm fighting it, but I am needed the rest. Great job both of you. Catch up with you in a day or two.
