Getting it done for December 2014

Hi all!

Wo's done - dog walk and 3 mile run plus stretch. Did it on the tm because I thought the wind was kind of biting when I took the dog out.

Belinda - High five! Love the premix options on that one - so many different segments to combine. So glad you finally opened it!

Heidi - Sorry about the sleep and not feeling it. I say start CL, and keep telling yourself one more round - you'll be doing tee whole thing before you know it.

Now to get some chili going, shower, and get some shopping done. Have a good one.

After my coffee I will do XTrain All Out Low Impact Premix #1 = 49 min and SBF xmas stretch = 30 min.

Sherry - about time I open Xtrain:p I am following the 90 Day rotation, for the high impact I will do Turbo Fire instead. I think, once in a while doing Hard Strike is fine, but not very week. Can't do all that jumping. I hear on the walks/run outside…..it's been raining. Today is sunny!

Hi girls,

XTrain All Out Low Impact = 39 min and stretch is done. I didn't do the AOLI premix#1 w/abs, I already worked my abs yesterday. There was anything new in that one but it was a lot of fun, loved the music.

Off to the shower than take the dogs for a nice walk.

Cardio Super Sets done plus dog walk. Thought I'd take it easy today since that was a pretty good run yesterday. Excited about the new series, and waiting for it to show up at the door!

I am done with ALL my workouts. I love XTrain Burn Set (CBS). Again loved the music in that one too.What is the song when we stretched?:D I heard it a few times last week too. Cathe uses that one for stretching?

I am going to DC this afternoon. DH and DS/Fiancé are going to watch a game this evening. I am not interested:( I will be spending time with Aleisa instead:p

Just plum worn out this weekend.

This morning I did PS chest, shoulders and triceps. I also did a fitness assessment by Studio Sweat before PS.
This included: (timed) Used 10# DB's
burpees: 30
Full Sit-ups: 30
Renegade Row push-ups: 30
Squats w/ weights: 30
Bicep Curl & Press: 30
1 miles run
Total Time: 19:03 PHEW!

Nice job Belinda on your workouts! Glad that you are finally enjoying Xtrain too. :)

Sherry: Awesome job on cardio super sets! :) I am also awaiting my package. :) YEAH!

Hi all!

Another wonderful torture session with the trainer today. Today's focus was power moves, so first, a few sets of heavy sit squats with 95#'s, then box jumps followed by walking lunges, then one-legged deadlifts with only one weight (I found it much more challenging than two), more jumping, now over low hurdles in different ways with a set of box jumps at the end of each pass (until I just had now power left to jump more), and finished with bw squats on the bosu and hamstring curls/rolls on the stab ball. Gotta say, I am loving it. Great to be mixing it up.

New wo's are here, but I can't open them until Christmas according to DH. Patience is now one of my virtues. Love the comments I've been reading, especially on the leg wo. However, today would definitely not be a day to try that one.

Belinda - Knew you'd be likin' XTrain once you finally tour open the package. Great wo's overall today. I'm impressed you had the energy to go out and do stuff. I'd be needing a nap, especially considering how early you did all that. Awesome!

Heidi - Wow! You did a lot today, too! That's quite the wo, before you did PS. Hope you had the energy to push hard on that one.

We left DC very early this morning. I did my workout later in the afternoon, wasn't feeling to well:mad: Alesia was very sick yesterday??? Hope the didn't catch whatever she is having.

I did XTrain Cardio Leg Blast and SBF UB. I really liked Cardio Leg Blast much better today. It's a lot of fun and I hardly modified. I had to modify a few exercises. So far, I really like XTrain:D

Sherry - I couldn't do the high impact for a long time, due to my heal spur/PF. I get up early to do the workout with my husband, I like getting it out of the way. I do fall asleep at night watching TV:D Good job on your torture session with your:p trainer. Yeah, on the new toy.

Heidi - how are you doing?

Hi all!

Today's wo - 3 mile run plus stretch then abs section from Ab Hits - yep, did abs on my own (patting self on back). Hate that it's dark when I get home, so cant' really walk dog. Do have her run back and forth in the hallway chasing us or balls. Something is better than nothing for her, too.

Belinda - Poor Alesia. Hope she gets better quickly, and no one else catches it. Love that workout. Great that you don't have to modify it. I hear ya on falling asleep in front of the TV. When I do exercise before work in the morning, I feel like I can't get anything done at night cause' I'm jut worn out by then.

I will do Burn Sets: Bic+Tric=37 min + SBF Barre 14=35 min + Bring Sally Up Booty=10 min. I also will do JS Crunchelss Abs=15 min.

Sherry - Thank, I hope Aleisa feels better soon. She ran a 5K in PJ on Sunday, maybe she got sick from not dressing warm enough? I have my nice, warm blanket and fall asleep in front of the TV:D Plus, the weather isn't helping. It's dark at 5 p.m. Nice job on your abs workout and 3 miler.My plan is to start up running again next year.

Heidi - how are you doing? Hope all is well.

We are having a lot of rain here and it is so dark I want to crawl back into bed. Our sump pumps are all running for the first time in years too! Thank goodness they are or my workout area would be in 4ft or more of water for sure!

Today is running my Mom to her appt's again.

No workouts to report since the other day with the Fit Test and PS. Yup I got some good soreness from both. ;)

UB tonight. Must have been feeling a bit nostalgic, 'cause pulled out BM2 Double UB premix. Nice burn, but tri's didn't make it the second round, and didn't do the abs, since did those last night. Feeling a nice burn right now as I type.

Belinda - Great wo's today. Question - how's your appetite since you've been doing lighter weights? As I've been going heavier, the appetite is increasing, which is normal. You are going lighter, yet you seem to be going longer. At least it appears that way to me as I total up your minutes. I'm struggling to keep my appetite in check, so just wondering how you are doing.

Heidi - So was the Fit test something you did just once or is it something that you plan do to more often to assess progress? Sump pump - very thankful for them. A previous house we had was at the bottom of the hill in a wetland area, so it ran constantly. This house is higher up, so not nearly as much, but very thankful that we have it, or it'd be the same here - wo area in basement, too. However, have you been reading the reviews of the new leg wo - apparently we should plant to spend some time down there afterwards 'cause getting up the stairs is very difficult. No, I don't have the app. Maybe I should get it, since I think it's even available for Windows phones (which don't have nearly the apps that iphones or Androids have).

I'm wiped - the other good part of working m more intense. Time to wind down for the night. Hope you had a good one.

Sherry - high fives on BM2 Double UB premix. Tough one too! When I only did Suzanne Bowen Barre workout w/lighter weights….my appetite was normal. I started XTrain 2 weeks ago, my appetite is going up. I eat more protein, vegetables, fruits. I stopped eating so much yogurt, I eat it almost every day. I cut down on dairy. I eat a lot of hard boiled eggs, fried eggs with a little olive oil. I don't eat a lot of carbs, try to eat carbs once a day. I do eat chocolate lately, but only one or to pieces but not every day. I started Xtrain because my husband couldn't do Barre with me anymore, it was hurting his hip too much. I wanted to lift heavy again and he wanted me to do it with him:D we love working out together:p I really love, love Barre workouts. They do wonders for my body. Barre leaned and toned me out what other workouts couldn't do. Not even STS:( Jessica, I her workouts are fun and I just love her. Plus, all those different instructors have a different style in workouts. I picked up on my workouts in Dec, so I wouldn't gain a lot of weight during the holiday's:p I lost a lot of weight the last few month and I would like to keep my weight that way:D One more thing, I don't have junk in my house either. :D
