Gain differences between 3mo & 6mo rotation

I am looking for thoughts and suggestions on doing the 3mo vs 6 mo STS rotation. This will be my first rotation and I am wondering how results varied from a 3mo vs a 6mo rotation (for those of you who may have done both). I am horrible at staying motivated, so the 3mo rotation would likely be more ideal for me, but I would also like to achieve maximum results. If a 6mo rotation would give me better results then I would try that. Any thoughts/suggestions?

As a side note, my strength is not very significant currently. I can lift up to 12lbs (15 on some exercises); I am 125# and 4'11. Any recommendations will be appreciated!

I did both the 3 and 6 month rotation. I found I enjoyed the 3 month much more, and I seemed to increase my poundage quite rapidly.

The advantage to the 6 month is that you get to know the exercises better. You can work on your form, and you can pinpoint how much weight to use.

However, if this is your first rotation, and if you have trouble with motivation, I think the 3 month might be a smarter choice. 6 months is a loooong time.

I don't think you'll suffer in the strength gain department. :)
