Fried Cookie Dough at the State Fair!!!

I could do w/out the oreo thing. Don't like that cookie but the cookie dough sounds very appealing to me. How do they fry things like candy bars? Do they roll them in flour or what? And WHAT is with all these food posts???!!!! Don't y'all know I have PMS and am craving any and everything? Luckily, I have no fried twinkies or cookie dough in my house!

I'm no expert in the matter (I'd stay as far away as possible), but you'd think they would have to batter dip them or something, wouldn't you? Unless the oil is so hot that it sears the outside of the bar before it gets melted (or it slighly melts the coating, then the coating solidifies quickly?)

I'm also of the mind that an occasional indulgence, although not good for the arteries, can be very good for the spirit. I've had a deep fried Mars bar once (split it with my daughter), I couldn't finish it but it was a fun experience:)

I was just thinking - they fry just about anything at these fairs - how about Nutella? I was eating a spoonful this morning when the idea hit me. I bet I could make a pretty penny if I set up a booth next year at my state's fair. :7
