I'm gonna try to lighten things up a little (yes, me! Can you believe it? :eek:) b/c as someone who enjoys observing politics & all it's little quirks & absurdities, I do believe this might be the funniest thing I've seen in my lifetime. Just when I thought Blago took the cake, this guy comes along & proves me wrong (altho I think this story will fade while Blago will never go away--I'm actually hoping he contracts for a season on Survivor LOL).

So, has anyone else been following this? Or seen Beck's and/or King's interview w/Massa? I never thought (even though I've hoped) I'd see the day when Glenn Beck was left speechless. The last 48 hours have provided us w/some of the most hilarious political news bites ever. This man has taken absurdity to a whole new level!

I saw it this morning and my chin hit the floor!! WTH????

I thought it was kinda hilarious that Republicans wanted to use him for their purposes and now they may have opened a whole other can of worms. :eek::eek::eek:

Did I misunderstand this or is Blago going to be on Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice? Oy!!!

Politics reminds me more of soap operas these days. I don't know if it was always that bad or if it is just more exposed due to 24-hour new reporting and the Internet.
 
I heard this story this morning and the announcers were joking the whole situation so much that I almost peed my pants laughing!

And hard to believe Glenn Beck looked at the audience and apologized for wasting an hour of their time with this interview!
 
I almost made a mess in my pants watching parts of that interview! That said, it was Glenn Beck's facial expressions that was putting me over the top!
 
Best political story in a long time!! I can't begin to express how much I *heart* this political story!! I hang on every word this crazy man has to say!! Tickling, showering, salty lanuguage...good stuff!! :eek:

Oh, the Rahm Emmanuel shower story had me in stitches! And what's super scary is, I can actually visualize the whole thing. :eek:
 
Not exactly a story per se, but I'm absolutely loving the headline in a recent newspaper article:

"Republicans turned off the by size of Obama's package."

That one is my new screen saver.

I saw this very briefly, and had heard bits as it is kind of local here. I was shocked to hear him on Larry King try to explain it away as a "tickle fight." How the heck is that better?!?!?! This guy is not terribly bright, which makes me really wonder about the people who elected him!

Oh, it's b/c since it was only a tickle fight it means he's not gay. :rolleyes: The story is, as he tells it, that he "groped" a staffer and then everyone else "piled on top" of him and it turned into a tickle fight.

Sounds like a scene out of Grease if you ask me. :D

HA HA HA HA!! LOVE it!! Totally awesome!! :eek: That is some fun word play!! Makes me think of a often spoken line from the TV show, The Office: "That's what she said"... :D
