Fitnessfreak, if you have time, a rotation question with running?

Debbie,

I know you are insanely busy tending to so many other peoples' needs, so if you cannot answer this request, I completely understand.

I was looking through your rotation post (which is sooo wonderful! Thank you for compiling that!), and I didn't see any that really incorporated running.

I'm wondering if you might be able to help me figure out a rotation to start in about 6 weeks that incorporates running twice a week (3-5 mile runs) and includes other cardio (step, kickboxing, hi/lo, bootcamp, etc.) and, if possible, maybe 1 body part per day weight training (for endurance, not for muscle-building). I'm looking to work out 5-6 days a week (preferably 5, but I realize I'm asking a lot!)

Again, if you are not able due to time constraints or anything, I completely understand! I just thought I'd ask just in case.

Thank you so much!

Fitness Freak, I too would be very interested in a rotation like this. It is exactly what I have been looking for....

Me too....

I would definately be interested also....I will began marathon training in June and can hopefully use this rotation somehow....

Thanks Debbie

Ok, how about something like this:

5 day workout routine.

Choose your own rest days.

Day 1: Total body workout such as Muscle Max or Power Hour - any workout like that
Day 2: 5 mile run
Day 3: Circuit workout such as High Step Challenge, Step, Jump & Pump, Bootcamp, etc.
Day 4: Total Body workout such as what is listed in Day 1
Day 5: 3 mile run

You can follow this rotation for 4 weeks and see what results you get.

Here is a generic breakdown, just find workouts that fit the description:

Day 1: Total Body (endurance workouts)
Day 2: Running
Day 3: Circuit Training
Day 4: Total Body
Day 5: Running

Work your abs at least once a week. Usually the total body workouts have abs with them.
