My Vitamin Shoppe always runs out of the Pro Pudding as well. You'd think since it's such a popular item that they'd order more. I just use Quaker Oats (not the quick oats, the regular oats). I don't eat many protein bars anymore, they contain a lot of sugar and carbs, but when I do indulge I'll get Clif Bars or Zone bars.

The Pro Pudding is best in a shaker. It's really hard to add water to it and stir it up, the powder goes all over the place and makes a mess. So I have a little 8 oz. shaker that I add 6 oz. of water too, then the powder, then I shake the crap out of it and let it sit about 30 seconds to a minute. I add 2 tbsp. of the power pb. Sometimes I'll add oats or a banana or both. Try different things, it's really good.

Hi debbie
I have to give you a receipe that I like for a home made bars, after work I will make shure that you have them also I have a prety god receipe for a low fat and fiber, protein that there so easy to cook and I love them so I think you migth like it,
also I wanted to ask you if you are coming to the cathe road trip that will be nice to meet you!!! :)

Good morning Debbie,

Hope your doing well and enjoying your new motorcycle. On the Kick Punch and Crunch DVD, theres a segment for Legs and Glutes. Would this be ok to use on leg days? Thanks Debbie.

Lourdes

I meant by itself. But if I could do in addition to leg workouts that would be great. Thanks Debbie.

Lourdes

Well, I'm not familiar with the premix that is on the KP&C DVD. If it has the standing work in it then I would use it as a leg day workout. If it's only the floor work I'd add it to a leg day workout. :)

Hi Debbie, I have the info about the food, for the shrimp and bulgur salad is about calories 250,total fat:8g, Sat fat:1g, cholesterol:46g, carb:32g, dietary fiber:6, protein:11g.
For the bars,
calories:260, total fat:1g, carb:34g, dietary fiber:4g, protein:15g.
let me know when you try them.
I have a post workout sweet potato smoothie,
you bake the sweet potatoes ahead, let them cool and use them any time, thats what I do. You will need,
2scoops vanilla whey protein
1 small sweet potato peeled
1 cup skim milk
dash of pumkin pie spice
Blend all the ingredients together untill is smooth. Add ice if you want a thicker consistency.
this is good :9 ;-)

Debbie,

I'm having the hardest time with my lunch menus. I'm in a rut and have been eating kashi go lean cereal for lunch every day for the past 3 weeks. My days have been so stressfel lately that I don't even want to bother cooking for me. I have been caring for a baby who cry's his lungs out every single day for most of the time his here. Anyways, what I wanted to ask you is, the cereal that I eat has 13 grams of protein and 22 grams of carbs. Is that ok? I have tuna but I hate the smell of it when I'm preparing it. Any menu ideas? Also I've notice that theres many different brands of whey protein how did you determine wish brand to pick? I will be trying my Gym Style DVD's sometime in the coming weeks, my days are to stressful at this time to start something new, but i'm getting some great results with doing cardio 3 times a week and working each body part once a week. Thanks Debbie!

Hi Debbie,
Good, I Hope you like this and the bulgur salad too, you know you can do bulgur with chicken also,I can eat this every day if I could!!!!
:9

Lulu - That cereal sounds pretty good. High in protein at least. If it fits in with your macro's then go ahead and eat it.

With whey protein you just have to experment. Some taste good, some are horrible. I stay away from high carb protein powders because it's pointless. I love the ON brand the best for my after workout shakes.

Hi Debbie,
I was wondering which dvd's you think is the best choice Heave & slow or The upper body and lower body Pyramid,I have try both of them but,I love both of them, which one do you think is the best for strength and definition, I know I need to loose little bit more body fat I'm 5.4 tall and my weight is 125 pounds I was 122 but my husband said that muscle is heavier than fat. That make me happy you know. Also I bougth the STS series which I can't wait to get them.!!!!!
I try to eat very clean diet I hardly eat out, well yesterday I have a chipotle barbecue cheese burger, that was my cheater day I try to NOT have to many of this days but it was good.
}( :)

Pyramid's are good for definition, S&H is good for strength and muscle building. Both workouts are AWESOME but used for different reasons.

Your AVI looks awesome, you are so pretty and trim!

Good Morning Debbie,

Hope you had a great weekend. I had a busy, but good weekend. 4 of my boys play club soccer, so we do soccer all day on Saturday. I had a question about the Gym Style serious. I was going over the DVD's and I notice that Cathy rest in between sets is not very long, if I was to follow the Gym Style serious exactly as is on the DVD what results would I get? Would I still be able to increase muscle mass? Thanks Debbie.

Lourdes

When I use Gym Style I always break longer then Cathe. Usually around 1 min. 30 seconds. So just pause the DVD and if you have a clock or stop watch, use it for the rest periods between each set.

Debbie,

If I wanted to follow the Gym Style serious exactly as Cathy does on the DVD's would I still get good results? For instance if I did this.

Monday: Gym Style: Back, Shoulders & Biceps
Tuesday: Cardio
Wednesday: Gym Style: Legs
Thursday: Cardio
Friday: Gym Style: Chest & Triceps
Saturday: Cardio
Sunday: OFF

I dont own many of Cathy's DVS's so I'm not able to do rotations, but I still want to get good results with incorporating my own cardio.

This are the only Cathy DVS I have

Boot Camp
Drill Max
Kick Punch and Crunch
All 3 Gym Style Serious
Core Max
High Step Circuit (have never use)

What other DVD's would you recomend to combine with Gym Style Seriious? Thanks Debbie.

Lourdes

Yes you will. GS is an excellent start to good muscle development. I got excellent results from that series, it is still my all time favorite. Your rotation looks good. Do it for about 4 weeks and then change it up a bit. If you can afford to purchase Slow & Heavy or Pure Strength series, those are excellent too and would give you a change in workouts.

Thanks Debbie,
and also for telling me pretty.!!!!
can you tall that I have 4 girls? SORRY but I'm proud of my self. probably don't sound good.
bye Debbie.
:) :) :)
