My Vitamin Shoppe always runs out of the Pro Pudding as well. You'd think since it's such a popular item that they'd order more. I just use Quaker Oats (not the quick oats, the regular oats). I don't eat many protein bars anymore, they contain a lot of sugar and carbs, but when I do indulge I'll get Clif Bars or Zone bars.
The Pro Pudding is best in a shaker. It's really hard to add water to it and stir it up, the powder goes all over the place and makes a mess. So I have a little 8 oz. shaker that I add 6 oz. of water too, then the powder, then I shake the crap out of it and let it sit about 30 seconds to a minute. I add 2 tbsp. of the power pb. Sometimes I'll add oats or a banana or both. Try different things, it's really good.
