I have been reading all of your posts, but am still unsure of what to do with my situation and would love your opinion.
Here is the deal: I am 5'4 and weigh 165 pounds. I have 5 children and really put on the weight with my last child. The weight is mainly in my hips, tummy...were talking I "look" 5 months preggo here! My arms have some flab on them too Of course I feel the need to go do cardio ALL THE TIME, but am wondering if I am shooting myself in the foot?? I want to lose weight, and have nice definition in my arms and legs. I have just started doing the Gym Style series and LOVE IT, and have started running with hills and intervals thrown in about 3-4 days a week. Am I doing too much cardio? Is the Gym Style series what I need at this point?
What do you recommend?
I am working on cleaning up my diet and just starting keeping track of it on FitDay. I am not going over 1400 calories at this point. I also give myself a free day... or meal.
