Lift It HiiT It Back-1643.jpg

In this Lift it Hit it upper body workout we use either a 6 ft stretch band, dumbbells or a barbell as a finisher after every third set of every exercise to really heat up the muscle you just worked. There is no rest when going from the end of the third set to the fourth set finisher.

I was wondering what the rep count is in the weight workouts? Or is it a different rep pattern for each set?

12 reps is the most common rep pattern we use in Ripped With HiiT, but we use other rep patterns too including crazy 8's, drop sets, and super sets. Several of the finishers also use a different amount of reps than 12. We like to say Ripped With HiiT uses a variable rep pattern as it does depend on the exercise in the workout.

Thanks for providing us with the hightlighted info above. Now again I should take a deep breath!
Indeed I am looking forward to getting really crazy with my barbell, my favourite TOY:D

It sounds a lot like Burn Sets, what is the difference between the two?

Lift it Hit it is similar to Burn Sets in structure, but there are a lot of little differences that make it different. For example in Burn Sets we did a finisher after every muscle group, while in Lift it Hit it we do a finisher after every exercise. We also amp up the intensity in Lift it Hit it by tweaking the exercises chosen, rep patterns and the rest periods between each set. Though I think both Burn Sets and Lift it Hit it are great workouts, the intensity of Lift it Hit it is higher.

Just did Burn sets bi's and tri's and love the finishers. Same with the gym style dvds. So glad to hear about finishers in this series. Are there finishers with the lower body too? I'm assuming so, after looking at the pic.

The Lift it Hit it - Legs workout uses contrast training and is totally different in structure than the upper body workouts. Thus, there are no finishers in this workout. But don't worry, the whole workout is a finisher
